I just happened to find out about this new site by Brett Ingram called MyTrafficBusiness.com which is going to be launched on Jan 7th.

Anybody have any reviews on this?

I did some searching on Brett and he owns "Think Big Publications"

Anybody have experience with him and his other products?

Thanks,
Michael

It sounds good Micheal and with Brett you know it is, i think it will cost a bit though but if you can afford it i would say go for it Brett is a great guy to deal with.

Thanks for the input guys. It seems like this one will come with a high cost.

I did sign up on Brett's list and will be getting the notification on the launch tomorrow.

I don't think I'll have my cc ready just yet. I'll just wait and see how the launch goes and see if this thing is really up to snuff.

      Cheers,
      Michael

Well I just bought it. $495. For another $495 you can get the capability of generating multiple sites, but I'll hold off until I see how it goes. I have XSitePro2, so I figure with a little work I can duplicate things once I get the feel for the system. There's also a $33 a month membership with 2 live calls a month, forum, and support.

I logged on to the site which was very simple and seemed to still be under construction. The page said that more videos will be added during the next few days. There is a section of text where you are to Click Here to visit the customization Center after setting up your domain and hosting, but there is no image attached to the link. So it kind of looks like a premateur launch, but it seems to be promising if all works out.

I'll be back with an update tomorrow.

Thanks for posting your experience with this. Looking forward to hearing more.

I read the sales page yesterday and it sounds pretty convincing, but of course I always know there is a catch. And like any kind of business it does take some effort to get it going. I don't really like the $33 dollar membership fee. Does this cover the hosting or can we host this ourselves?

This kind of business seems to be like buying a ready made traffic exchange site. Is this what it is?

        Hi McDavies,
Well since I posted last, there are 2 videos up. One is an overview, and one goes into how to market the product. More to come. I don't know why they launched without all the vids. You do have to get your own hosting and domain, which is fine with me.

It seems very promising, and I know how valuable it would be to have an income generating site that builds a list for you. But what I don't like is that you can't test drive this thing. Once you submit your hosting info and preferences, they start building the site for you and you no longer have the option to refund because there is work involved on their end. However, it seems to be the kind of product that will definately work if marketed right.

Of course marketing is the key to any program and I'm a bit new to this whole membership thing. I know in my head that list building, residual income, etc... are all extremely important and valuable. But as a musician, I kind of relate that to scales practice. Every musician wants to be talented, but no one wants to practice scales. We just want to have fun playing songs. Well, the whole list building thing is kind of like that for me. It is not a subject that I enjoy studying. It almost seems MLM'ish. But my head tells me I am wrong and need to readjust my thinking cap. That's why I bought it.

One thing that scares me is being new at this. What if I can't get any members because I am unknown? Who will be the first to join if there are no other members? Hopefully all will be explained. I'm going to hold off on submitting my info until I am convinced that a newbie can do this.

I signed up for the $33 membership fee as well just to have some support in a new kind of biz op. It's refundable as well, and can be canceled. After all, what's $33 after dropping $495?

        Be back with more,

        LSAM

          Hi LSAM,

I'm also very interested in this and thanks for posting your feedback here.

Since, we also have to promote the site, so what I want to find out is what and how will 'My Traffic Business' promote the site for us.

I've sent them an email but haven't got any reply yet. Thanks.

            Hi Alex,

Yes, we have to drive traffic to our own "traffic generator." Almost seems like a contradiction, huh? But the Traffic Biz is a membership site, and I suppose it is similar to some of these Traffic Exchange sites mentioned by McDavies. To get people to join, you have to help them find it. I am familiar with link sharing, but this is my first experience with Traffic sharing (maybe they are the same?)

One thing which seems pretty cool is that the members can earn some kind of credits that can be spent on traffic and other things in a "store" (Haven't got to that video yet).

If anyone is out there with knowledge on these things, please feel free to chime in.

              Hi lsam,

It's similar to a traffic exchange, but not exactly the same. I suggest telling everyone you do know who is marketing online, and offer them a free membership or a special reduced price. As they tell people they know, it starts to go viral. But you do have to get the ball rolling. You can also do this by placing inexpensive classified ads (usfreeads is good). Join some YahooGroups or Googlegroups that allow ads and post about it on them...

To give you some encouragement, I think you've made a wise choice to market traffic. Everyone needs it. Not everyone needs the latest whatsimahooey info product that will "Make You a Million!" - IF you can figure it out and add some special sauce you never seem to get the recipe for.

Maybe go back to the MTB sales page and re-read & watch the videos there again. Also go over to trafficpython and see how it works in real-time. That helped me.

                Thanks for the encouragement Tracy,

This does sound like a great niche to be in, but do you think a newbie like myself with few IM friends can make it work? It seems that this kind of thing is more do-able for someone who already has a list. Just as in; "It takes money to make money," so also it seems; "It takes traffic to make traffic." Is that too negative of an assumption?

As with most launches and products, the sales page makes it sound as if this is perfect for anyone, but the videos in the members area seem to bring you down to earth when you realize what is involved in marketing the product.

I'm tired of buying and returning. I really want a good excuse to stick with something and make it work. So I'm hoping to get my doubts handled here.

You guys are my IM therapists. Help! Talk me down from the ledge.

                Hi Paul,

The difference between this and starting any other type of online business that I can think of right now is that with MTB you have instant leverage. You have something of value to barter with that even the successful IMers still need - traffic. So I think you can do it without a list. I don't have a list (unless you call 100 subscribers who don't open my emails a list) but what I do have are several online friends I've known for awhile who are in constant need of traffic, to contact.

Start asking yourself how you can make it work, instead of looking for reasons why it won't work for you. You'll get positive instantly and then the ideas you need to move forward can come.

Thanks for the PM, but I don't have enough posts as of yet to do PMs.

I'd be happy to look at some of your blogs. Post some links. I have been debating doing some Adsense sites, but can't decide on a niche yet.

I was quite tempted on this offer too. When i saw the price tag...began to take a step back to think thru. I also notice a trend lately...more and more marketers are offering made-for-you sites.

As i think thru this system, i begin to realise that this traffic system is a membership site...which help my members get traffic. Hmmm....so i go out to tell pple --->Hey guys, come join my site and i'll give you traffic.

But where will the traffic come from?? From the members?? Members who surf other members site to get traffic?? What about sales?? I mean sales for the members. I actually put myself in the shoes of the customer(member).

I think i'll pass this one. Maybe i'll just join as member. So when you guys who bought this keep us updated...so even if we dun get to own the site, we may be your customers. haha...ironic.

Glad I found this thread. I just posted a question about this site... considering purchasing. But, the $33.00 is kind of a surprise, do you find out about this after you sign up?

Another question that savvy marketers are asking is where is the traffic coming from. You have to create traffic to a traffic site? Hum..... Do the traffic generators not work for your own site???

It reminds me of an recurring ad that advocates how you as an owner can offer your customers the ability to send 1,000's of emails to paypal customers but when you ask to join this list, you find there are only 1,000 emails.... hum???? I think I will wait this one out too.

I had considered purchasing one of these myself because the niche of providing traffic is a very profitable niche to be in. But the thing that concerns me is that if he does in fact sell the 500 or 1000 sites, I forget which, is that the market will be saturated with these type of sites.

Btw... these types of sites are very popular among traffic exchange users so my advice to anyone that does buy this is to heavily advretise it on the exchanges.

Just a quick bit of info on the $33 month that we keep hearing about. I wrote their support desk and asked. The first was the response the first time and the second after I wanted to be very sure.

    ----------------------------------------------------
"There is no monthly membership with My Traffic Business for you. The monthly or yearly fee(s) are what the members of your business/website will pay you."
    -----------------------------------------------------
"I think you may have misunderstood the information you read on the forum or someone(s) may have misunderstood it. When you own the site (YourTrafficBusiness.com for example) you do not pay any membership fees to your own site.

You charge the members to your site a monthly or annual fee. The only thing that I can think of that you might be seeing is paying a monthly fee for web hosting but that is not through us."

I'd say that answers the question about the monthly fee, there is none.

      Garret,
The $33 is optional and is for support. You get access to a couple of live calls with Brett Ingram every month and the forum. It can be canceled once you no longer want or need it.

There was a question about traffic exchanges above. I would like to say they are one of the best ways for an owner to build a giant list! I have owned one for about 3 years now and found it very easy to promote and gather a large membership!

One thing however, don't do auto surf exchanges as they don't offer members quality. To keep your members in these types of sites you as the owner, must put a priority on a system that delivers some quality to the advertisers etc.

That's my two cents. If the "My Traffic Business" is some form of exchange, then it should be a good one to try.

I'm still on the fence about this...

On the one hand, it's clear a lot of work went into this system, and some big names are using it and doing very well with it.

On the other hand, it seems to be the kind of thing that works better the more people are in it. And I don't see how it could work when few people are in it. That's because the engine for delivering traffic is by displaying pop-ups on sites that people who want to earn traffic are redirecting links to. I'm getting a headache just trying to explain it. Sign up for Perfect Traffic Storm to see how it works. Basically, you create a redirect link to any site and promote that link. Every time you send a visitor to your redirect link, a pop-up/slide-in ad displays an ad for someone else. They get an impression and you earn credits toward your own impressions.

But how do you get the ball rolling if you are not a guru with a big list? Where does the first traffic come from? And what if everyone who joins wants to buy traffic, and no one wants to earn it by delivering it to others? Can't the system get out of balance? None if this is clear from the salesletter, which makes it seem like you just push a button and everything happens automatically.

It would be funny if the only thing not included in My Traffic Business is... traffic. But that seems to be the case. Am I missing something?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[1610231].message }}

You are correct. Even though you are buying a website that markets traffic - it doesn't come with any. You must start promoting the site yourself and the big hope is that you get members who will follow suit.

The only way to faster success with this type of website is A) Buy traffic to it so you get signups, or B) make JV deals with other marketers to get signups.

But ultimately it comes down to the members promoting THEIR links to make the website/membership a success.

But these are quality websites and this is a great script they use, so you do have a quality product in your favor. How you manage it is up to you. Again my concern is the traffic niche being saturated with these types of websites. Right now there are about 20 or 30 of these websites. In a month or two are we going to see 530?

Yeah, but that payment plan is not of much use, since you can't get the site activated until full payment is made. And you are paying $80 more for this (approx $580 - $500), without really getting anything for it.

The payment plan might be a deal if we could get the site up and running after the first payment is made, with some features of the software/script disabled until full payment was made.

    ---
Also, if any guru/expert already using this is able and willing to answer the concerns listed above, please PM me... as I am considering this.

I really do want to like this, but without any traffic to start and 1000 (!) competitors with exactly the same system, I'm not seeing it as the easy pushbutton solution they claim.

I suppose I could justify it as an expensive link redirect site that builds traffic with each redirect, and anything else is just icing on the cake.

I have to say, I'm kind of getting cold feet with this one and keeping an eye on that refund deadline.

As a newbie, I'm nervous about marketing to experienced IMers. And I don't like the idea of the training videos being gradually introduced into the members area. Even if I don't have the time to watch them all right now, I would like to know they are there and what kind of content I can expect to absorb. It's been four (?) days or so, and Ingram has just finished adding the 4th video with more still to come. When I first bought, there was only one video on the site. The next day, another appeared. These things should have been up on the site as soon as we purchased. It makes me feel as if something is being withheld.

Checking off another day on the calandar.

No, once you submit your information to have the site built, you forfeit your right to a refund. I don't want to commit to that until I see all the videos and conclude that this is what i want to do.

Like most launches, you are led to believe that this is HUGE, and that if you don't get in now you will miss out. So if there is a refund policy, at least you can get your foot in the door and then decide if you really want the product.

Here is an example of a My Biz Traffic Site:

Even if I don't have the time to watch them all right now, I would like to know they are there and what kind of content I can expect to absorb. It's been four (?) days or so, and Ingram has just finished adding the 4th video with more still to come. When I first bought, there was only one video on the site. The next day, another appeared. These things should have been up on the site as soon as we purchased. It makes me feel as if something is being withheld.

Checking off another day on the calandar.
I tend to agree Paul. When you launch you should have all the content in place especially considering the videos are supposed to be the owners manual. With a no refund policy (once you submit your site URL) then it would be prudent to actually have some information for a new owner to evaluate, to see if they want to continue with the product or get a refund.
I am now waiting almost a week to get my site (that was supposed to be done in 24 hrs or less) but I will give Brett the benefit of the doubt as I am sure he is very busy creating the rest of the owners manual videos

    Hello,

I was told My Traffic Business is an exact replica of Traffic Python, Brett's site that replaced Viral Link Tracker. I haven't checked that out yet, so don't take that as gospel. Besides, due diligence is a personal thing and the more you do, the less you pay.

I have Viral Link Tracker upgraded to the top for the extra $97 x 2 or whatever it was. It hasn't made any money like it was supposed to. Why? Because most, if not all Sales Letters and now Sales Videos with no fast forward buttons give you information in theory....then add perception to the mix with scarcity and let's face it, hope is a beautiful thing.

Without hope, there is no life. This one might be it. This is the one. That's what you say if you're brave enough to walk down the isle too. To the musician who said everyone wants to play like an expert but nobody wants to practice scales. That sounds like cleaning fish and you're right nobody wants to do the part that gets you there.

How many people say they want to go to heaven? But nobody wants to die to get there. Even church on Sunday - who goes every Sunday? The ones you see knocking on doors and riding bicycles - not the ones in the forum. We have a different hope but we all want the same thing. Happiness.

Go check out Traffic Python. I've got an idea that I'll post later -
this is too long and philosophical - oops! It is what it is and never what it seems!!

I would be very interested in hearing about any success you have with this. Even though I'm getting cold feet and may refund, I may reconsider and re-buy down the road if I can get some first hand testimonials here on the forum. I don't doubt that there is potential with this.

        Please keep us posted.

Do you have rights to sell the site? Since 1000 copies are being sold, I am thinking that 60 days from now, you'll be able to pick one up for $0.10 on the dollar.

Like many of these "great opportunities", this could be a great money-maker if you have lots of traffic. Otherwise, not so much. They always give you testimonials from folks with 50,000 in their lists who made tons of money. Just once, I'd like to see a case study of someone starting with nothing and making money.

I'm wondering why Brett Ingram himself haven't come to the forum. It seem like it would be in his best interest to defend his product.

So far I don't see too many success stories here. I know it's still a bit early to tell if this is going to work for the average person.

After a week of looking at this, I don't think it's really the right business for me.

For anyone who's bought this, I wish you nothing but success. And a little bit of luck ;-)

    Cheers,

Did the traffic business work? Traffic Python is exactly the same
software. If anyone bought the software already and would
rather not run everything alone, let me know.

I don't want to say "partner" because I don't like them any more
than you (most people don't) but you have a better chance of
success if you don't have to do everything alone.

I have over 40 Software programs for generating traffic - all with
the Source code and sales material to create 40 new products that
could be added to the traffic business...but doing it all alone is
    just too much.

The biggest tip I can give to anyone doing their own traffic exchange is to put up a video using camtasia or whatever you use to record your desktop explaining clearly what an exchange is.

We have over 20,000 in ours and it's the number one question. "Can someone explain this thing to me?"

I give them a link to the video and they are always thankful. The video should be under 5 mins and show you logging in as a user and showing them how to

      1. Get credits
      2. Enter their url (which they always want to do)
      3. promote

Do that and you will thank me later.

      Hope that helps.

I have bought the mytrafficbusiness deal and will give you my impressions so far...

I ordered this on 01/11/2010 and am still waiting for the install. On the 12th I got an email saying it would be 48-72 hours and they were working round the clock!

I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't for the fact I had emails from Brett still promoting it with this backlog going on. Also my support tickets are being answered with cookie cutter replys and I am trying to get a simple Mod done to the script.

3 days ago I had an email saying they were starting work on my site so I stayed up till 4am in case there were any issues/questions (I'm in the UK) - but still no site!

On the Promo Video and sales page they claim 19% click thru rate and 29% conversion on a trial they ran. BUT on looking closer I notice the test wasn't run through the script. They simply put a slide up ad on the front page of one of their other sites offering a 50% discount on membership of THAT site - I'd say that was a little misleading! and so I can't use that in my sales page ( I don't believe in misleading MY customers!).

I ordered my copy through Ewen Chia, and part of the deal was I got Elite membership to trafficpython.com - the site they use to show how successful the script is. I put 10 ads on there to test it out. So far I have had 80 impresions of my ads in 3 days - I have credits for 24,920 ads left - thats gonna be a loooong campaign! I have had 1 hop to clickbank from the ads - not quite a 19% click thru!

I feel like I'm shooting myself in the foot here because I will be sticking with it and promoting it soon!

        On the positive:

It's based on the Butterfly marketing script which is good.

Around 5 years ago I set up a traffic exchange which very quickly got to 5000 members (about 2 months) with good conversions to the upsell - I was an early adopter of the one time offer in an exchange. But the script was a pig to run and I sold it.

It was, though, a great way to build a list while earning income at the same time.

Unlike virtually all the other exchange scripts, where members are just promoting to each other (very incestuous!), this one shows your ad to the average prospect surfing the web. Which is why I bought it.

The fact that ads are showing to non members strengthens its viral growth potential (the slide up ad has a link to the sales page for the site)

The solo email facility is good too.

As someone said already - 1000 new entrants into the niche could make things difficult but people who use traffic exchanges tend to join multiple sites and I believe there are potential uses for this script that have not been tapped!

All in all I think the script has possibilities

I don't know the rules on self promotion in the forum yet but if people are interested, and it's allowed, I will post the link up in here when my site is live. As I mentioned, I have taken a quite different approach with the script - it'll either die or thrive!!

If anyone has bought the script and doesn't understand anything I will try to help.

        Hope this helps a little

          Rob, Paul,
Did you get an email saying that they would be sending your login information, and most important, did you actually Get a separate email?
All I have is a link that takes me into a place where you can manage your subscriptions, which says I have None.
Of course I have put in a support ticket, but still haven't been answered.
BTW, this offer was closed, but it seems that Brett gave Mike Filsaime another shot at promoting it.

          Thanks much,

            Hi Sue

            No I didn't get a seperate email.

But I setup an account in the mytrafficbusiness member site with the same email I used for the order and it found my details.
This was after trying the lost password which said didn't recognize my email address!!

It's really a mess and I will think very hard before doing business with Brett again.

I got the email from Mike Filsaime and was pretty peed off too - 1000 new entrants into the market is enough without Mike's massive list too - the whole thing stinks especially as they're so far behind.

It is now 15 days since I made my order for a product that was supposed to be available in 24 hours!
They only answer support tickets with cookie cutter responses so I am afraid you've got a bit of a wait.

Over a week ago I had an email telling me that they were now working on my site and another from the helpdesk saying I had been bumped to the top of the list (which I hadn't asked for) - clearly both messages were outright lies.

I can appreciate that the offer went far better than they expected but the way they are handling this is awful.

            Sorry Sue - I couldn't help ranting!

Try opening an account in the main mytrafficbusiness member site using the same email you made the order with and see if it picks up your details. If not try your paypal email address.

            Hope that helps

and despite the 1000 limit - not only Mike filsaime but now Michael Rasmussen gets to offer "a few more" to their lists!

Guess the 1000 was just a ball park figure huh!

                Thanks Rob and Congrats,

No problem with the ranting. I think there's a bit of buyer's remorse going on here.

Since I had never heard of MTB, Really!...when I got the email from M Filsaime I Googled it and checked here in the WF. There was mention of saturation and that did bother me, but I don't think it sunk in as much as it should have.
But now that there is such a stall going on And with Rasmussen also promoting it....ugh.
                No reply to my tickets.

There were two OTO's and I ignored the first one because of what was said here, but yes indeed, there is an offer of 33 bucks monthly for 'coaching' calls (as in - on the phone, I think) and access to the forum. I wish I at least had that access to the forum so I could get a feel as to how people are liking or not liking this, and the possible problems.

If anyone is considering purchasing My Traffic Business:

I received an email Jan 26, 2010 at 12:52 AM, full of apologies and how everything is going to be so great for YOUR business and
.......2) If you ordered but did not get the emails with login/access details you will find everything in the Customer Center at LINK There is a lost password feature to help you. (If the system doesn't find you for some reason do NOT create an account because it will be empty--just submit a ticket at LINK and we will set you up).......

Well, I had already created an empty account and I had already submitted tickets, remember?

                3) Think Big Coaching Club - our first call was scheduled for 1/26 but with so many new members just joining and many who did not get access yet we have moved the first call to Thursday 1/28 at 11am to allow everyone to register and get in on it. If you joined the club, when you login to the Customer Center you will see a tab for "Coaching Club" that has all details...

                4) Think Big Coaching Club - the private, members-only forum is now ready and you can setup your profile and get in anytime. Again the link and details are found in the Customer Center under the Coaching Club tab. (LOL, that's the empty place)

If you didn't join the Coaching Club yet you can still get in at LINK

We are working very hard to make sure YOU get the maximum benefit!

Im pretty sure something just went wrong there norberg. You should try sending ticket to support and tell that after 4 weeks you still dont have site.

For currently it seems 7 days is pretty close the time they are getting sites up and running after submitting info.

I actually think something have went wrong wtih my order too.

For point is that when i ordered, automatic welcome message (including where to go and what to do) didint come to me.

Next when i submitted my website details, there came message to me telling i need to first pay the full sum (which i already had paid).

So i sent them message with copy paste of paypal trasnaction and one day later they started to set up my site.

First came message telling ,they are now starting to do it.

Then only couple hours later came message "we are puloading some files now. We will be contacting you soon..."

Which seemed like a message that was hinting that it will be complete and done in couple of hours only.

Well. it was last friday that message came, and i still havent received "site complete" message

Although i sent them message last saturday, since i suspected that message had failed to come to me, they then said that next message i receive is "site complete" message.

So i have so far waited for that. But im soon sending another message to them asking about it. Since as i log i n to FTP, it seems like all stuff is there already. I think some automatic message just havent came to me teeling my site is complete and what to do next to actually launch it.

So my point in this to you is, that i believe somehow my order have partly gone out of system, to which reason im not receiving automated messages, and my payment wasnt shown as full. So i think this same might have happened to you too in one form or other.

The redirect issue sounds like a Butterfly Software issue, as I'm having the same problem with two sites I updated to BFM 2.0. But hey, I could be wrong on that!

Yes indeed it was a Butterfly v2.13 update that apparently caused some of the issues. The new v2.25 has supposedly fixed this. Also MTB has now released v1.09 today which includes the BFM updates and has addressed the issues people are having and it also includes a generic unbranded walk through video and some new unbranded graphics for the OTO page and ad display.

Firstly-this place is awesome! I am amazed at the level of commraderie...I think I butchered that word, anyway, the level of good will and honest desire to offer help to one another, it's just really a nice place to be.

So, thank you all for making it a pleasure to be here. Now, about My Traffic Business...I read this entire thread AFTER I purchased this program. I made the purchase on Feb. 15th and I never heard a word.

Just like the rest of you guys, I emailed, telephoned, support ticketed them until I was blue in the face! I was ready to force a refund today, when out of nowhere I got an email indicating that the site was done!

I inspected the trouble spots that were the focus of some of the posts within this thread, and all seems to be working OK.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if all of the code issues have indeed been addressed, and if the site that was done today had all of the fixes in place?

Now, I know you wanna say, "why are you asking us?" And the answer is...you guys respond! They don't! I can't get an answer from them to save my life...

                          ...but the site looks great!

Thank you folks, and I hope to become friends with the lot of ya

                          Ed

                            Hi Ed,
One of the first things to look at on your site is the video on the main page about half way down that explains how the site works. If it is a generic video without any pictures of traffic python then chances are you have been loaded up with version 1.09 of my traffic business. You will also see the version number in the top right when you log into your admin area. All of the issues that have caused problems for new owners were supposed to be corrected in V 1.09. I haven't had the chance to go through everything yet as it was only released a few days ago

To all of Brett's TrafficLoving Warriors,

I almost bought this too but decided I didn't need it and I really don't.
If I had purchased it, the first thing I would have done is contact a programmer.

Why spend hours troubleshooting when you can get a quick, specific answer? The cost is worth the price to get a professional and detailed response so you will KNOW EXACTLY what you have and what to expect it to do and not do.

Programming is not difficult if you know the language and, like talking,
you can make it "say" just about anything. Don't you want to know what your program is talking about and then doing behind your back??!!

After I upgraded my site to version 1.09, all the code issues, and redirects were resolved. I have had NO problem with my site after this upgrade. If your site shows the version 1.09, you should not have any of the problems that the earlier programs had.

                            Best of luck to you!

I am starting to get email promos from people who bought this and want me to sign up to their version. How many traffic businesses can the market support? I was already in Perfect Traffic Storm and found it to be a perfect waste of time.

In case you don't know, the traffic comes from banner impressions on slide in ads from other members who are earning credits by sending traffic to sites they choose. Do you really think they'll send traffic to an offer they want to convert knowing your ad will interrupt the visitor? Another problem is that the impressions trickle in. Probably even worse when a site is just starting out and has few members. Remember the traffic is coming from other members. I wonder how many people bought this without understanding how and where the traffic comes from.

After one month of paid membership, I got a few hundred (!) impressions, a handful of clicks and no sales. For the same money, I could have bought thousands of impressions. Like so many internet marketing products, the "greater fool theory" applies. People buy things they don't understand and that they've never used and benefited from because they believe there are greater fools than them who will purchase from them.

Well, I don't want to be the ugly old guy here...

But who said the traffic exchange sites is a successful biz model??!!!

How many of you ever spent time to check ads and actually bought something from such type of sites?

As I can see, the MTB depends on building traffic exchange sites (or correct me if I am wrong), and to my knowledge through 6 years this has never been a good channel to drive targeted quality traffic...

        Hi ozduc

Sorry I don't have enough posts to answer your private message!

Yes I have the same set up with traffic python video as you.

Looks like the sites are NOT all set to go after all huh! I will be making my own video.

Best of luck with your site.

        gcintermed / goldmind123

I think your points are right and the traditional exchange where members look at each others webpages is of very little value - it's amazing how popular they still are though and as I said before, I owned one a number of years ago and built up to 5000 members very quickly.

The difference with the MTB is the ads are seen by people outside the exchange membership through links placed on websites, emails etc - so it's a different model.
However these are still banner ads, though the slide ups are still fairly novel and attention grabbing - and the claims made by MTB of 19% click thru's are just plain not going to happen. Like any banner ads it's a high volume/low response kinda thing!

To charge for membership needs added value I think and and thats what i'll be working on.

The first movers on this got some pretty impressive results but MTB are killing it stone dead with making so many copies available - going over the 1000 copies they stated was the maximum is plain wrong.

Did someone say - doing a Kumar?!!

Hi Guys....I purchased MTB website also and was wondering if anyone here could recommend a good service(thats not to expensive) that can make a screen capture video that would replace the traffic python video that comes on every site? I prety much want the same video but with screen shots of my website and not the traffic python website. Thanks for any input on this matter....I'm sure there are others out there that would like the same.

You can try cam studio which is free screen capture software. Allows you to do flash or windows media. Very simple to use. I would recommend you have a decent microphone though for voice but the video quality is good.

Yeah...I'm aware of CamStudio already...but thanks anyway!
The Really SAD thing here though is for $497.00 dollars the websites are suppose to be individually designed for our purchase and everyone is getting Traffic Python Videos advertised on their personal sites they paid $500 for. From what I understand also, the one time offer pages also include the website advertisement for their other site Traffic-Goldmine. I'm hoping that they will correct this issue with everyone....however if they don't I will be getting a refund regardless of what their policy might be...thats false advertising as far as I'm concerened.

Camtasia is good - it's what I'm using to rebrand my site.

The 30 day free trial is full featured - don't know if they watermark the vids or not but the website doesn't say they do so should do you for what you need.

            Thanks Robnoble,

I think My Traffic Business should just make one(1) generic video demonstrating the sites features without showing any of the traffic python website(or other websites for that matter) and post it within the members area so customers could change it out...just like they did with the sales letters. Then one video would work for everyones sites...that diffently isn't to much to ask for. Also everyone...please keep in mind...none of the sales pages were available(or downloadable to view) until 3 weeks after MyTrafficBusiness started selling the product. So a lot of people made $500 purchases without knowing that the membership area was fully completed.

              I totally agree with you.
In my opinion$497 is too high for what we get. We pay that high price to advertise his traffic python for him? Come on!
Although I still believe this business model has potential, this is definitely not for a newbie or beginner. You still need to have some basic ftp and php knowledge and you may need to spend a few money or time to customize your site (graphics, sales pages, walkthrough video...)so it won't look like all others.
And honestly their support is probably the worst I've ever experienced.
I don't think I'll buy anything from them ever again.

I bought this and it was set-up quickly and, I thought, properly.

I've been marketing it on the Traffic Exchanges and many of the busiest ones REJECT my s ite for "too many redirects." So I opened a support ticket and was told there are NO redirects and try again (insulting because I of course tried several times.)

I contacted my hosting company and they found the redirects which I sent to the My Traffic Business Support desk. They have not replied to that information, nor corrected the issue. (I'm not a newbie but also not a techie.)

I'm posting this today after giving them plenty of time to address this issue. A traffic generator that gets REJECTED by the traffic exchanges is USELESS! Aghhhhh! Can you tell that I'm really pi**ed off?

You're not the only one. I have been waiting for over 2 weeks for a reply from support. I've chimed in a couple of times at the support desk to bump my ticket, each time elevating the level of my ticket, where it is now at critical and it still goes unanswered. I have filed for a refund with my CC processor as this is just unacceptable. Their support or should I say lack of support is not a good way to do business. Every other post I read on the members forum at marketing-mastermind is the same complaints of, "support tickets going unanswered, redirects, broken code, members down line not working, sites not customized etc".
The other day I couldn't even log in to the support desk. I got a 404 error page.

Now that I'm done with my hissy fit, I'm back to say that I am able to get accepted by the TE's by emailing the admins/owners. So this isn't as bad as I thought.

I do strongly disapprove of the videos promoting TrafficPython and the other site also owned by Brett I imagine.

I also noticed that I have a 'phantom' Elite member that I asked be removed. It pops up with a Marketing Mastermind banner on it, which is Brett's forum. So far that ticket has gone unanswered.

That is a default ad to show if none are available. You can change to want you want in the Admin Area under site settings.

I had my site up and running in 7 days. Also have problems with the redirect issue. it is in one of the header files.

                      Hi Helen,
Did you backup your site? If you did you can restore yourself.
What pissed me off most was their lack of communication. After they got your money, got your site setup (regardless if it's properly setup. This can happen), they simply leave you high and dry...
I remembered they replied to my message within 1 to 3 days before my site was done. Once I received that "your site was complete" message, they stopped replying to any of my submitted tickets. This really made me feel bad that I thought I just got scammed.
If there are too many tickets to answer, if they really are bogged down by a swarm of support tickets, they can always send out a global email message to keep us updated with their current support issues and difficulties, and some common faq they received....etc. We would have more understanding and would have more peace of mind without doing any wild guessing here and there.
                      But they didn't.
Instead, all I received were other promotional messages one after another...
They just care most about squeezing more money out of us. Once they got our money, byebye, chiao, adios, au revoir...

I ordered the 497$, right after viewing the 1st videos and looking at the product, I concluded it wasn't for me and asked for the refund directly.

Support tried to convince me how wonderful the product was and bribed me with additional bonuses, I declined.

I then was told the that the refund was initiated. It's now been 3 weeks and several reminders, I still haven't gotten money back, in fact I don't get any answers via tickets. I am still hoping...

In my opinion the product under delivers.

      1. The personal customization of the site could be a lot better. Very cookie cutter and despite what they say everyone's site looks the same.

      2. The customer service is really poor.

      3. Training videos are ok, but leave out a lot of information to effective run the site.

      Just my opinion,

Mystrafficbusiness seems to be a site where one can try. Since there aree good feed backs along with some negative ones , It may be risky to invest but like any other internet business we have to spend based only on the feed backs of the clients. The posts here itself is a proof to that and I thank for the many info and data. I will suggest to some of my friends

    Hey guys,

I purchased this too, but the customer service/support is REALLY BAD.
In fact, the support desk is down now >> Loading page...

and has been for a while.

I've downloaded my conversation with support and will post it here if I can't
contact them via landline this week...

I havent heard anything for a week but I hope I can still get my site done,

    Hello

I should have read this forum first! But I forgot, since recommendations came from a trusted person and I skipped to do my homework...another huge lesson learned!
This is my experience...Below is the refund request I send to PayPal. (It is filed with them until further action can be taken).

""To Brett Ingram and Think Big Productions

The product My Traffic Business is a huge disappointment.
I request my money back! Reasons for Request are, Extremely Bad Business Ethics, and there are my complaints:

    1. I feel cheated into having bought a simple replica of products that you display and use to sell this offer, which to me is false marketing.

    2. Product was way overdue (promised within a few days) I paid on 15 Jan, it was delivered 29 Jan 2010

    3. Some parts of scripts was faulty and did not function properly. When trying to contact you in this matter ...NO answer (My husband had to fix it).

    4. Customer and member sites are outdated, inactive, incomplete and promised information is still missing (set up tips, videos, etc. and has been so since your customer got access to these pages)

    5. On gold member subscription-site there is NO cancel button (for the $33 monthly charge)
On credit card page there is No option to delete a credit card

    6. Customer ticket support has been shut down since 1 Feb.

    7. There is no way to contact you since all customer pages have inactive buttons and your site is shut down and off-line.

    This is all outrageous!

I am very disappointed with this product and I want my money back!

    Helen Mortensen""
    _________

I paid with PayPal, but it turns out that I am not covered with paypal-refund security. However, PayPal said: that if more complaint against this seller comes in next 180 days, they will look into this issue closely.

So if you have complaints, and you paid with PayPal ... CONTACT THEM ASAP!
I am totally aware that there is a huge effort on my part to drive traffic to my business, but that is not the issue here...I just think it is so impolite and bad business ethics, to behave like Ingram does.

        Hi Gary,
If you log in to "your site/admin" and scroll to the bottom of the page, click on the member forum you will see all the complaints and problems people are having that are just going unanswered. A couple of examples are:

A redirect loop bug in the software which will NOT allow your site to be indexed by search engines. You can check your own site by clicking here
(Then again maybe that's not really a bug but a piece of code inserted on purpose by Think Big Publications so all the new traffic sites out there will not get indexed and therefore not be in competition with their own sites as they just simply ignore peoples request to fix it.)

Another problem is Member referrals not showing up in the down line.

For more go to the members forum and read some of the posts.

WOW...you got to be kidding me! Thats just about the most sneakiest thing I've ever heard of....and taking $500.00 from everyone and then they can't even get their websites listed on the search engines(done on purpose). Sounds likeThinkBigPublications better correct these issues and commuocate with theie customers very quickly as the accusations against them are growing quickly. Unfortunately, it sounds as though they might have a few pending lawsuits from unhappy customers.

PS: I'd like to view the complaints on their forum however I can't see paying $33.00 a month for this when it should be free for existing customers. Geeze....what a nightmare for everyone!

I'll try and get these problems corrected on my own...with no intentions of a lawsuit(can't speak for others though). It's just very sad for everyone that spent $500.00(and need to spend more to have all this corrected) and the kind of support they are receiving from ThinkBigPublications and the sneaky tactics of not even being able to list their site on search engines. It's also horrible that everyone has to advertise the Traffic Python site on their purchased website with the video they post on everyones site.

As of today, my site from this lousy company is now disabled and off line.

Another weird error, bug or whatever it is.... Affiliates do not registered properly... out of 110 affs only 7 was properly registered ....maybe someone already highlighted that here...

I am going to request a refund directly to the company, since TBP saw to it that customer security do not apply in this case (i.e no refunds) and PayPAl can't do a thing about it, unless there are complaints in masse...

Yes, sparkie your word of wisdom on the lesson learned here, is certainly my new mantra as well. lol

With the redirect issues and showing of the traffic python video I did find a solution for this load up your home page Right click to get page source. Copy all and create a file index.htm upload it that will now be the page that loads when you open the site, go through til you find the area (near the middle) called walk-thru or something like that and just cut out. will remove the Python Video

And Now using this I know longer have the redirect issue,

Hope you took copy of that original index page, since im pretty sure you are going to be in trouble with solution.

I dont think you can get referrals to go to right place with this solution.

For plain index.htm page doesnt take any code in to it. I havent received my own site yet, so cvant give any better advice on this, but i suppose that among other things, the original page handles affiliate IDs.

That when your affiliate sends traffic to your site, it will mark it as syour affiliates referral.

With plain index.htm page it will simply show the page and not have any additional information about affiliates.

So everytime someone joins your traffic website, it will join as someone wihtout referral.

It is possible to make HTML page to take this info, but in your solution i dont think this happened.

Although one possibility is that everyone joining now will go under same affiliate in case this source code included affiliates ID there.

If you have launched your site, i advice you to quickly put that original page back, or you might be into lot of trouble through your customers.

Well the PHP files construct the html files 'on the fly' effectively.

I really wouldn't recommend grabbing the page source and overriding this process.

The file you want is homepage.html in the templates folder! If you look down carefully you will see the section you want to disable.

I merely put the comment tag around the section as in <!-- --> and disabled the actual movie window and player.

I can show you exactly where, if you can't see how to do it, but to be honest if you can't work it out then you really shouldn't be messing in there anyhow.

Please, please backup your homepage.html before you try this of course.

Seems on top of getting too many customers too quick, they also had unexpected trouble with support sites service provider which they couldnt do anything about.

Anyway. They said they are now concentrating on finishing last 10 percent of installations and after that they will concentrate on post installation problems.

I think I am a decent and honest human being, and I think other people are decent too, given a chance.

Considering I've paid a lot of money for this product, and the email that arrived from Brett et al today, I am prepared to give Brett, Scott and the rest of the team over at Think Big Production, a fair chance at least.

Brett has promised, in a new long Video at member-page, to address issues and errors in the program (i.e refarrals not showing correctly, to many redirects etc,)

He also promises, as soon as all orders are up and running, to concenrate 100% on adding more help content to member site, which I look forward to, being a newbie.

I have decided to believe in his words.

I agree that all should have been better prepared before launch, and that messages about their own problems should have been announced much earlier. That would have made me, much more understanding and patient.

What I have learned through this is important: Always address your customers, one way or another, and keep them informed of the process/problems at hand when scedules can't be kept. That way you'll keep mutual confidence and understanding and that is extremely valuable in short and long run!

    just email'd you...

in regards to your question (i forgot to answer in the email),
is that I'd just create a backup of the existing template,

    i.e.

    hometemplate.html
    hometemplateBackUp.html

If you want the original back as it was, you'd just copy the BackUp
over the original and upload it back to your site.

    Easier explained over video.

    [EDIT]

I recommend (and a recommendation) inside the MyTraffic Business members area) creating your
own video walk through and replacing the Traffic Python video walk through...

I can do this for fellow warriors also.

      Yes Lightning85,
I agree that was the easy part....
but then there is the piece of info which went missing in that first video i.e "How to intergrate this with 3rd party", Aweber, as in my case.

Brett added a new video at member site on this issue.
      Guess what?
There is no sound on that video and there are parts totally unfamiliar to me and so what does he say?? I swear I am having a tantrum soon.

For heavens sake, Brett, how hard can it be to check that your equipment works?

I still don't know what to do. Anyone here knows the missing part? Why does Brett write the "dudu code" in the middle of the traffic python welcome letter?

Since there is another activation code already there for traffic python on the next line. Without sound this is confusing.

O.K. guys... usually I don't post about other people's products, even if they
don't deliver what they promise. As a programmer and software owner I know that
software can never be 100% bug free because it can't be tested under the same
        circumstances as a public release.

The reason I post here is because I want to help you. I've just launched my own
site the Viral Traffic Bar with this script and had the same problems as you all.

I have removed the Traffic Phyton video from the index page... such a video hurts
your site more than it does good.

I have also removed their links from the Promotion Material page... they have
their sites listed up under "Other Listbuilders".

On the index.php page you need to remove the following code so that the referral
        system works correctly:

        if (!$_COOKIE['PHPSESSID'])
        {
        $tmp = md5(GetRandomString(32));
        setcookie('PHPSESSID', $tmp, 0, $path, $host);
        header("location:$site_full_url", TRUE, 301); die();
        }

As for the search engine indexing... my site is No. 1 for the term "viral traffic bar",
so I don't know if the indexing was ever a problem or if the removing of the code
        above has solved it.

As for promoting in Traffic Exchanges... the removement of the code above takes
out 1 redirect (as you might see). I think there are more redirects on the index.php
file... just ask the Traffic Exchange Support to get your site approved, this won't
        be a problem.

Still, you should not promote your index site in Traffic Exchanges, it loads too slow
        and it's too long.

You should create very simple Splash Pages (I'd post mine here but I'm not sure if
I'm allowed to do that, so I don't... you can see my Splash Pages inside my members area
        at the Promo Material Area).

Splash Pages are simple and fast loading sites with context above the fold (people don't
        have to scroll).

I know there are many more bugs in the script (smaller ones)... if I find solutions to
        these I'll post them here.

        Hope that helps a bit.

I don't think anyone here has been complaining only that the software wasn't 100%. I think we are all aware there can be problems with a release. However the fact is that MTB had been released for their own sites almost a year ago and they had plenty of time to fine tune and fix errors. All that aside the main complaint is the lack of support and tickets going unanswered for long periods (over 2 weeks in my case). Then when tickets are answered they are generic responses that don't address the issues.
Another major complaint is the video promoting traffic python. Each site was supposed to be fully customized but that didn't happen. It's easy to remove the traffic python video but how will your customers know how the site works and how it will benefit them if you don't have the video to explain it?
The issue with the redirect link is another problem which doesn't happen with traffic python or web traffic juggernaut which are Brett's sites but it happens with every site they sold as it is in the code. Now why would that be
Just because your site comes up #1 when you type in your exact URL, doesn't mean the problem isn't there. I can type my url into google and it comes up #1 but the redirect loop is still there in the code.
Another thing I discovered is in the auto responder email series they set up, there is an email that goes out on day 33 with a mention about "web traffic juggernaut".
So all in all they have done a great job of making sure that their own sites get lot of love but as for all the customers sites....as they put it, "when we are done installing everyone's sites, we will get around to dealing with support issues."
I paid over 6 weeks ago and still don't have a site I can launch to the public. (That's the longest 24 hours I've ever had to endure).

Yes, the support is slow but I know that they try to fix the bugs... this tip with removing the code from the index page comes from their support. Still... they should take care of the support first before selling even more copies through Russel & Co.

As for the Traffic Python video... yes, they should offer a generic video that everybody can use... still the site also works without the video... if the signup rates are better with a video... I don't know, somebody should test and track that... often very simple signup pages work better than long signup pages (I have tracked that many times). Explainations on how the site works are also available inside the members area.

I disagree with this Search Engine thing... there is only 1 re-load left on the index page and that is to set the affiliate cookie. If Google wouldn't index these websites then they wouldn't show up at all in the search results... and by the way, I don't type in my url to come up on pos. 1... I type in "viral traffic bar".

As for the email that goes out on day 33... I've checked that, doesn't promote traffic juggernaut in my installation (or I've already fixed that earlier and forgot).

After all, yes they could have done a better job... but hey, we only paid 500 bux for this... creating and setting up something like this on your own would would cost you 10 times the money.

I received the following email from the ThinkBig/MyTrafficBusiness guys regarding my requests that they repair the multiple site code errors (affiliate links, redirects, etc.) on Saturday morning.

"We will be issuing a patch shortly...

We have identified, pinpointed, and fixed the error in affiliate links--it is due to the latest update Butterfly issued. Some changes they made actually caused it and we have developed a fix.

I will have our tech lead look into the footer issue and infinite loop. You should note, though, that these sites will get indexed. Do a search for Traffic Python and you will find it at the top...

Will look at these issues asap and get the patch out.

              Thanks for providing the details!"

Based upon this response, it sounds like they are finally ready and willing to address the complaints from their customers. Should I hear anything else, I will continue to post their messages to the Marketing-Mastermind Forum, and here at the Warrior Forum.

Again, I am looking for some JV Partners to help promote my site in any creative manner necessary to establish said partnerships and grow my business, FREE TRAFFIC FOR LIFE. If interested, or wish to discuss, please reply to me personally at:
              davidfthornton1[at]gmail.com.

$497 for a system like this is a great deal ONLY IF it didn't have all these major issues as mentioned on this forum here.
All these issues have hidden potential to kill your newly established business and image because you will receive tons of complains from your members due to all these bugs issues of the script, and there's also issue on hosting company's side also as many members have already experienced their hosting account being suspended or their sites are constantly down...etc. Although in a video Brett mentioned that shared hosting account should be enough to run this system but in reality it may not be the case. You may need to run your site on a vps or a dedicated server and that add up to the total cost to run this business: script fixing cost + videos redo + graphic modification... (and they said our sites are "custom-made"???) As a member there told me the total cost to get all those fixed and modified will very much likely cost him another 500 bucks or more.
I agree this business model has potential and a good money maker if you give it some time and do a lot heavy promotions... IF you already have some experience in internet marketing....and IF you have a deeper pocket... I think it is somewhat deceiving on their part to mention that this business model is good for newbies though... Not a newbie friendly business in my opinion.

I just received an update from them that they now have a new support desk, and they'll issue a patch to the current script, they'll also make a generic walkthrough video. It's reassuring to hear this and it's good on their part to take action to resolve the issues. There's still hope...

Of course, you need a dedicated server to run this script.

The script sends out emails through php mail functions.... and these can be alot of emails. If you don't have a dedicated server you'll probably get limited in the number of emails that you can send out each hour. Also the speed of the site will increase with a dedicated server.

I run it on 2x AMD Opteron QuadCore dedicated servers... only for that 1 website. This might not be nessassary when you are just starting the website but if you want to grow it big you won't get around a good dedicated server.

On the index.php page you need to remove the following code so that the referral
          system works correctly:

          if (!$_COOKIE['PHPSESSID'])
          {
          $tmp = md5(GetRandomString(32));
          setcookie('PHPSESSID', $tmp, 0, $path, $host);
          header("location:$site_full_url", TRUE, 301); die();
          }
          [/QUOTE]

My site was installed about week ago.

Seems they have already fixed this issue to latest installations sine this same in my index.php code looks like:

          if (!$_COOKIE['PHPSESSID'])
          {
          $tmp = md5(GetRandomString(32));
          setcookie('PHPSESSID', $tmp, 0, $path, $host);
          $reload = 1;
          }

So basically 1 line difference, but it continues later:

          if ($reload)
          {
          header("location:$site_full_url", TRUE, 301);
          die();
          }

Which in to my eye seems to be doing exaclty same as your shorter code?

So, You sure thats how your code looked like and thats what you removed?

Im just wondering since this would suggest that they had fixed that code, but at least to my eye, it seems to be doing exact same thing, just in more lines.

Which would make no sense that htey had fixed the thing to do exactly same but with more lines, when theres known bug in that?

I think he meant that owning a traffic exchange is a good business model. It offers money and list building for the owner not the people who participate or join. I actually looked and looked at my traffic biz, After doing some due dilligence, I looked all over the net to find a ready made traffic business. I am still looking and will ad more types of traffic generating incentives. I looked at other businesses like traffic explosion which offers a different type of business model where they actually build
squidoo lens, facebook pages, article writing, press releases, et. al

other options were the quick & dirty traffic business model that I am presently using. Which works to some degree. You can get plenty of people to your list, almost 2K so the benefits are there. I think Traffic is going to be the number one product around for a while since it is really all about money. But, I am taking await and see attitude with the "Pretty traffic biz webpages... they are impressive... But I'll wait to see how you guys do.

so, therefore I wonder if anyone had any success with getting in touch

WTF is wrong with this Brett and his support team?!

This is very disappointing. I can't believe they are sinking

    Hi Guys,
I was one of the first people who purchased this back in January when it first became available. As you can tell from the earlier comments on this thread, there were a lot of us that were completely frustrated from lack of support, software bugs, generic templates and many many other problems...this was certainly not an easy business out of the gate. However, I do believe they have worked many of the software bugs out since the original release. When I purcased the product, they were on v1.08 update and now the install is version v1.12 update with many updates and fixes since the original. I won't get into all the headaches again but I just wanted to say after about 6 months now, I'm completely satisfied with the purchase. It's a good business model and was worth working through the issues. I also updated and re-designed the site. If anyone is interested in viewing and seeing what you can do with the overall design, you can have a look at Web Traffic Massacre

I'm not worried about the bugs and technical issues, as much as I'm worried about the fact that we will be selling traffic that we don't have!

It will need a good number of initial members to our sites, in order for the members to get any sort of real traffic or clicks to their links.

I know that because I've been a member of a site called Traffic Smashers, which I just discovered was just a replica of these ones and was a complete waste of time for me, because of very few members which didn't help at all with getting any sort of clicks to my ads. You will get a lot of pissed off members if you just take it as it is without solving this issue.

The only way I see this to work is by getting lots of members at the same time. Anyone got another solution for this issue?

Well if that was the case, no business or website would be worth having if you can't convert or draw traffic to your site. This is like any other business, there isn't any magic pill. You have to remember that the membership is free for anyone to join. Plus, once you have upwards of 200 members in your site they start promoting as an affiliate and your customers start increasing extremely fast. Think of it as a launch...you have to get the ball rolling with any website

I know what you are saying but my point is: you are promising traffic (be it through an exchange system or some similar credit system) to members. All of them. Including the first people to join. Those people won't get any traffic though unless after the site really kicks off.

That's my point. Free members MAY be less pissed off than paid members like me (I paid for Traffic Smashers and haven't received a single click to my ads).

I'll take your advise as a member who owned and operated such sites. You might be right because the system has some viral elements in it... but have you not received complaints from the first members who joined?

P.S. Great design and video btw.

"We're finally about to send you what you bought, are you sure you want your money back?"

I'm still getting the push off and I'm very surprised that Brett would do business like this.

I too have been very disapointed so far. Couldn't access the email client, and still can't after many support tickets. Now the autoresponder code isn't working. Submitted a ticket 13 days ago, and was told it is a unique situation and a technician will look into it. Still no answers . Sent my payment on 5/20, and now 9 weeks later still no live site all the while I'm paying for hosting too. If anyone has had any luck getting a refund, I would be interested in how to go about getting on myself.

No, still no response or resolution to the issue. I have more support tickets in with them in 2 months than I have with all other products and memberships I have ever bought added together. was told by support that as per the terms of the agrrement, once the site is set up no refunds will be issued. My question to them is doesn't the site have to be working? I believe they are in breach of the terms and am going to have an attorney look into it.

Have there been any new developments in the last 9 months? I recently purchased v2, only then discovered this thread. It seems it got off to a rocky start. It particularly disturbs me that people who requested a refund feel they are getting the run-around.

Does anyone know, does the current version have issues that need technical support?

I purchased MyTrafficBusiness 2.0 and the offer page says that I can try the product for 30 day our until I submit my site details. So if I submit the details I cannot get a refund if I do not like the software. The support person (Anthony) is saying he can't give me the software link to do the install myself so what the hell am I supposed to evaluate? The videos? I get a feeling that they are trying to cheat the customers by not allowing them to install the software themselves and tricking them into getting the site build so that they cant ask for a refund.

Worst part is MyTrafficBusiness is the next version of traffic python and the existing members of traffic python do not get the updated version. The original version was sold for $500 and new version is for $300, helpdesk responder is annoying and keeps closing tickets without a reply and when he does reply it would be something totally different then what you asked for.

Bottom line STAY AWAY FROM BRET INGRAM AND HIS SOFTWARES

K... got two bugs in the site:

1- The site's mailing utility doesn't work. Scheduled emails don't go out. However, the initial confirmation and welcome emails do.

Contacted support long ago and they said they couldn't figure out the reason and that, to them, the site and settings look fine! They then stopped responding to my messages since a very long time.

Anyone else experienced the same with their built-in mail utilities? Does it have to do with a specific folder permissions perhaps?

2- New bug: inside the members area of my traffic site, the "Earn Money" page has a bug that keeps redirecting to some other unrelated imageholder url.

I think I've read that they have addressed this issue in their latest update. The problem is I can no longer access the members center for MyTrafficBusiness to apply the update, as they have changed to a new address which DOESN'T recognize my email address. Plus, my new support tickets are now completely ignored.

Anyone else having an issue with accessing the new members area, maybe to apply the new update to their membership site?

Called them on phone and only got an automated message that asks me to open a support ticket instead! Unbelievable!
