    Hi Lauri,

    I have tested the software and it does everything it promises to do.

    If you know what you are doing, you can set up a similar kind of process yourself by setting up password access on a directory on your website, posting your e-book there and presenting anybody wishing to download it with your opt-in form.

    One other thing to note: If you post an e-book on a password-locked directory, there will be no viral effect if someone buys it and then passes on a copy from their own hard drive.

    With the Boomerang List Builder anybody who tries to open it will need a password. Of course, the person who gives it a way could supply the password too, but if they don't, the receiver will be added to your list as soon as he or she applies for the password.

    One option for doing-it-yourself would be to post the contents of the "e-book" on a locked web page viewed through an e-book creator browser.
