Hi kingrussell23,

Like I said I took the initiative and tried things myself. I am the type that consumes information at a rapid pace. So in the downtime between videos I started working through the resources section.

After signing up at SponsoredTweets I received my first opportunity which netted me $1 per tweet. I did one and then a couple hours later I completed a couple more.

I also signed up at a couple of the Affiliate & CPA Networks. I haven't made any money from Azoogle as of yet but I also signed up for ClickBank and ShareASale.

Now, I already do website and graphic design and I knew that one of the frameworks I use (Thesis for WordPress by DIYtheme's) had an affiliate program. I found it on ShareASale. On my personal blog I added a text link that included my affiliate link. I use Thesis on a regular basis and I highly recommend it to anyone. The SEO built in is absolutely the defacto standard I feel all should be. No additional SEO plugins needed.

One conversion/sale will net you $33. So I started tweeting about my site (I received about 20 to 30 visitors per day before hand) and to my surprise within about 8 hours had a sale.

ClickBank is where you will find the ShoeMoney System Affiliate program. There was also another E-Marketing program on CB that had a really good gravity and payout. I signed up for it and then I posted a comment on my Facebook page in regards to the program. After a few hours I had a conversion on it and a little while later had another.

I don't just limit myself to all thats available within the ShoeMoney System. I am subscribed to numerous affiliate marketing blogs and have read several freely available guides. I am looking to maximize the return on my investment so I do all I can to improve my odds at success.

From what I have learned so far I do recommend that you sign up for more than just Azoogle and be ready for the rejection emails. I almost instantly received application rejection emails from several of the networks because I didn't have a history of Affiliate Marketing. However for every one I was rejected I was accepted for two others. After you sign up find something your familiar with or somewhat knowledgeable about. That way you will have something you can honestly stand behind. I know that if you follow this strategy you will limit yourself down the road but it makes it easier when your starting out.

All in all I am glad I signed up for the ShoeMoney System as it does explain things in a very understandable way but don't limit yourself to just the information contained within the system. Search and learn from others as there is always more than one way to cook a chicken.

Hey JohnMcLearran,

It sounds like you really have it going on, I mean you already have a blog know SEO, through DIY Themes and are doing programs that shoe money has not even gone over yet. Are you a member of shoe money system the reason why I ask is because you have not followed his steps there has not been any accounts set up for making money yet. I mean the only one that has been shown is the ebay system which according to you have not used.

With your experience with all the networks I don't think you would need the program up to this point. The members are waiting for a step by step protocol as they were promised. It is great that you take initiative so I question if you are doing alot of this on your own why be in the program. Take care and prosper.

Hi Alansplace,

Yes, I am a member of the ShoeMoney System (SMS), joined up on Feb 1st. I don't know that I have it going on its just that I found myself with a lot of downtime between videos. They are sent out every 2 to 3 days which left a lot of time I felt that could be utilized learning all I could in addition to the SMS.

I have enjoyed the videos in the system as they have answered several important questions and have gotten me on my way. As far as experience with all the networks it's only a couple weeks along so I am far from a seasoned pro but I learn by doing. If I find myself with a question I ask it by either emailing Jeremy or if it's relating to a particular ad network or program I ask my affiliate manager for that network.

From what I have learned affiliate managers are there to help you make money because the more you make the more they make. They have an interest to help you succeed.

My goal within 6 months is to make 5 figures in one month. To do that I am going to be using all the available resources. For some that may not be much for me it's quite a bit. My income this past year was barely more than $23,000 from my primary job - down quite a bit from last year due to the economy. As of Feb 1 I had no knowledge of Affiliate Marketing. I am working to have the program pay for itself and from what I have heard others saying about week 5 of the program that is where you really get into the meat and potatoes (Arbitrage on eBay, etc).

I do believe that I may be putting together an action plan to get started making money right off the bat but to do that one really needs to have a good understanding as to why it works. That's where the SMS comes in as it shows you the reasons why it works. My first venture into affiliate marketing was the SMS. I am still in my first month of learning all I can. What I have accomplished so far is not anything special. Anyone can do it.

Until next time.

Any recent updates? I've been very interested to hear what the "meat" of the program is like. Thanks.

I really like your style.

You say you took the info and ran with it..but also applied what you learn from other sources and took action.

People can find alot of know how in threads if they really take a good look.

I truly feel this is the best advice any of us can have. And it's not like Andy invented it - this is repeated time and time again by people who know what the heck they're talking about.

I think the problem is that under the umbrella of Internet Marketing there are so many ways to make money, and there are so many products out here for each area. Case in point - how many affiliate marketing products compete with each other? How about CPA, Google Adsense, website flipping, or making money with Facebook? It's almost endless. People tend to get overwhelmed.

It's almost like you have to make a decision, buy a product from a guru you trust and have researched, and commit yourself to that product. Then, if you like, come back and try another product.

BTW - I consider products like Video Boss or Market Samurai "tools" that you need to help you with the area of IM that you choose.

Hi, Yes I'm a member of the Shoemoney system. Been doing it now for 6 weeks. We have covered a number of subjects from Arbitrage to Facebook. There has already been some money making opportunities with Ebay. I am a total newbie to internet marketing, and I'm enjoying the pace. I have started a blog (no ads or offers in it), covering my week to week exploits, and I'm just waiting for an auction to finish on Ebay to see if I've made my first few ££s! I really do think the course is great for a beginner and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

I saw Shoemy on Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas as spokesman in some sessions and I'm sure content he is selling is worth of the price.
e.g. he is one of the best marketers on Facebook

I joined the Shoemoney System after several years of on-line studying and buying products from reputable people that always had at least one step that I felt made the product a rip off. Usually it was not intentional. It would be something like "and then all you have to do is write a script to..." Hello??? Write a script??
I like that Shoemoney is starting off crawling and making sure gaps in knowledge don't leave people behind. You also have to understand that you are also paying for his connections and getting advertising budget. Yes the class is pricey, but so is getting ripped off and so is buying this piece from one person and that piece from someone else.

Default Re: Shoemoney System?

Well this thread has tempted me out of lurk mode.

I joined the shoemoney sytem at the beginning, and with a few days to go before the 60 day refund period elapses have asked for a refund.

I'm far from a newb having been making a full time living from the 'net for over 5 years now. But I realised I'd got lazy and wasn't trying much new. With a new baby on the way I wanted to ramp things up a little and thought Jeremy's course would give me some new inspiration and ideas, and hopefully push me to the next level.

Has to be said I've been extremely disappointed with the content so far. The videos at the beginning were coming through painfully slow although to his credit he did release a batch of 40 or so all at once - but most of them were pretty useless to anyone that has used the Internet for more than 6 months. I mean do most people willing to spash 200 a month and who probably heard about the system through some affiliate marketers mail list really need a video teaching how to register at a forum or make a gmail address or facebook account?

One thing I noticed at the beginning was that there was no research into who had actually subscribed to the system. Of the 500 or so initial sign ups, Jeremy didnt know how experienced they were or what they wanted out of it - just that they had money to spend. I emailed them about this apparent lack of knowing their audience (which is surely a fundamental in IM) and hey presto a few days later a short survey came out.

It was mentioned that the system would be limited to 500 people, but there's been various hints dropped that suggests to me there are probably a lot more people than that already.

Oh and the thousands of dollars of coupons for adwords facebook etc, no sign of those yet as we near the end of month two. "We dont want you to run before you can walk" - fine, but make that clear in your sales patter.

There were many requests for a forum but Jeremy seemed almost scared of adding one - stating they cant be put up overnight (we all know they can) and he'd need more staff etc etc. I think he didnt want one because the new recruits would gain access to older material too soon.

It seems to me that the course has been put together on a drip by drip basis, hoping to retain people long enough and keep a carrot dangling long enough for the next payment to come in, offering little but promising much.

Maybe it was my fault thinking it was pitched at people with experience, but I'm not going to hang around paying $200 a month in the hope that something of use might come along one day.

I spent the same amount of money as one months subscription on Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai recently and have learned a hundred fold more just by watching the videos and playing with the software.

Great Post Kerby,

I also ask for a refund due to the slow pace and high monthly cost of the course. Two hundred dollars a month is alot for the information you get alot of it you can find on youtube or just google it. Did not see any profit in the program when I was in as promised in is sales letter. Take care and hope the people who stay get their moneys worth. Take care

I'm also very disappointed with the slow pace.

The program is open for 2 months. Would have expected some real meat by now. I'm considering canceling.

I asked for refund a week ago but only 1 payment was refunded, no response when I asked for help and there are people having the same problem like me. Not sure what is happened but seems like the 60 days money back guarantee is a broken promise.

I too have the same experience. Made use of the "No Questions Asked, 100% No Risk Refund" because the shoemoney system was too much geared at americans. I don't know anybody who uses Ebay in my country.

Canceled in the 60 days and didn't get a full refund. Will keep you updated, as this seems like deceptive marketing on shoes part. It's a pity, since I thought him to be different than others. Obviously at this time this doesn't seem a 100% no risk refund.

Same here I'm afraid.

First payment was refunded back to my card within 2 days. I'd been expecting both payments to be refunded since it was a "100% no risk refund" promise. When I asked for my second payment to be refunded too, they closed the ticket with the word 'refunded' and no further comment. Waited 8 days no sign of the refund back to my card.

Reopened the ticket and they closed it again in exactly the same way with no further comment. If I dont see a refund within a week I'll escalate it to clickbank themselves.

I won't wait that long though. If I don't get a response in 2-3 days I will contact my creditcard company and request a chargeback. If Jeremy can blog every day he has the time to answer refund requests. Doesn't seem like we're the only ones affected.

Finally I got my money back, what I did is escalate it to clickbank and I think you should do it too.

I had two questions about this system, maybe someone can answer:

1. If I join now, are videos still handed out to me every 4 or so days, or do I have access to everything released so far?

2. Is it $197 a month for a year, or forever?

Thanks!

1. I'm not sure but I'd bet that you only get access to the core material and the rest will be drip fed through.

2. It's per month for as long as you stay before you realise it's a waste of money.

Not this one. Buy Micro Niche Finder and/or Market Samurai instead.

Hi folks, I recently joined the Shoemoney System. I am not that impressed.

In the Training area there are only four videos. The titles are:

- Books That Will Change Your Life
- Get Your Mind Right
- Ways to Make Money Online
- The Rich Superhero

I don't know what these videos are about, I'm pretty busy and don't want to watch a video about books I should read. I don't know what The Rich Superhero is, I may watch it later but probably not.

This doesn't look like a Step-By-Step Training system. I'm looking through the site and can't figure out where the real training / system is.

The podcasts look interesting, they are interviews with various experts, but the podcast titles don't really grab me, I don't see many that interest me. There are podcasts on Facebook Ads, twitter, FTC laws, creating a product, building links, etc...

I was expecting something like Ed Dale's 30 Day Challenge, where there is an actual system to follow, with specific actions to take each day. So far I'm on day 6 of Shoemoney and the four videos in the training section don't seem that great.

There are some webinar recordings available to watch but the titles don't say what content is in the webinars, so far the first one is a Q&A with pretty basic info.

I'll write an update if I find any great content worth $200 a month.
