Been shopping for a good video solution and came across EasyFLV Player. It looks quite versatile. If anyone has used it and especially if you can show me an example on your site that would really be appreciated. Both good and bad feedback appreciated. Thanks Ed ***** They claim on their site that " EasyFLV can be used with HTML editors like Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft Frontpage to mere Windows Notepad for adding video to a web page. " "For those who want to keep their videos on a separate storage server like Amazon S3, CacheFly, Cotendo or Amazon Cloudfront, EasyFLV supports them all." |

Ed, There are a ton of video players out there. I guess it depends on your needs. Some are free and others are paid solutions. As you might expect, the paid solutions are more versatile and offer far more features than the free ones. Just typing web video player into Google brings up several instantly recognizable products. The top three free versions I quickly see are Flowplayer, JW Player and Wimpy Player. I've used both Flowplayer and JW Player with satisfaction. Plus, all the video sharing sites provide embedding solutions. Some, like Revver, provide their own Wordpress plugin to make embedding a snap. And there are a bunch of other, independent Wordpress plugins that help to serve up videos, too. Just check the Extend tab at Wordpress.org. Personally, after screwing around with a bunch of solutions that, when patched together achieved the desired result, I recently bought Easy Video Player and things have been sweet since then. It's a server based app that pretty much does everything and more that I want and need - all in a single app. BTW, it uses Flowplayer as its built-in player. Mind you, it's currently $127 one time and is scheduled to go to a monthly fee. Plus, it's designed to work best (at the moment) with Amazon S3 and optionally, Cloudfront hosting. But if you look at video as you should - long term - having your own video "console" and independent hosting seems like the way to go, in my opinion. Again, it just depends on where you are (in business and financially), what you're trying to do and what your long-term plans are. As many here on the forum will tell you, beginners in IM (or any related discipline) don't have to feel compelled to shell out the big bucks for stuff. Because diligent research (like within THIS Forum!) will expose a bunch of free or low cost products, information and tools that can get you into profits, BEFORE you go into debt snagging the "next great system" that comes out every week. Anyway, hope this helps and good luck with your research and biz! Russ |

I have looked at EZVP but until they get caught up with support I am waiting because for some reason some scripts fail to execute properly on my host until a bit of debugging is done - even though it is CP hosted service. | |

If you are talking about Add video to any website with our set of Streaming Video Software and Web Video Players , then I can give you feedback. The owner is a fellow warrior who is always seeking innovation, which has carried over to his players. There is alot of functionality and it is a true featherlight player. In other words, it doesn't bog down your website when it loads. I've had clients use it on six figure launches and it runs like a champ when loading. There's quite a few options now with slick new player colors and designs as well that are really appealing to choose from to customize and integrate to different types of websites. The functionality has what is needed in a player....volume control, buffer, adding links, having the big play button, custom start frames and creating custom sizes to fit your site, just to name a few. Hope that helps. It's definitely one to have in your toolkit Scott |

Thanks Scott I really appreciate your feedback - are you talking about the same video player? Could you post a link to the one you are discussing so I am sure we are on the same page?

Hi Scott, I've actually been considering easyflv as well and sent them a couple of enquiries via their website but didn't receive any reply. So I'm a bit concerned that this is indicative of their support as well. Would you know if the Multitrack video pro also allows you to play a single video without the menu just like a regular video screen? Also, could you let me know who is the warrior who owns this product so I can reach him/her directly? Daniel Quote:

I own the product. You can configure the multitrack to play without the playlist visible. However you would need a minimum of 2 FLV files. You can put a short intro file for the first FLV and then use the main FLV as the 2nd video. FLV or Mp4, both are supported. If you have any query feel free to ask. |

Thanks Aritrim. So just to confirm, in order for Multitrack Pro to play like a normal video player (Streaming Video version) without the menu, I need at least 2 FLV files to set this up? Quote:

Yes that is correct. The multitrack needs a minimum of 2 files. If you need just one video to stream use the single streaming software.

Aritrim.. How could I upgraded my easy flv to new version since whenever I click on updates link within the software, it will only redirect me to Easyflv website without upgrading link. Regards, WSOHero |
