Default Best WP Theme/Framework for video-type blog (could FlexSqueeze, Thesis, etc., do this?)

I've been searching everywhere to find the best theme for a niche-type video blog with text posts as well. The existing video themes all seem to be a bit inflexible and the frameworks, like Thesis, Semilogic, FlexSqueeze, aren't made to do the thumbnail embedding of an eVid or that layout of a section with three across and three down, categorizing posts (for instance, a politics section with all the political videos). I've been testing FlexSqueeze (thank you thank you thank you to the developer for letting people see if they can understand before purchasing) and love its control panel, but I can't find plugins that will do the video as I want (thumbnail, header, summary). If only there was a combination!

VodPod sort of will work by embedding a gallery on the page of a theme, but it's still going to take a lot of time to figure out for someone who isn't a programmer. I just want something easier to manipulate.

If anyone knows of something, plugin or framework/theme with a great control panel that will do this video, please reply.

Thanks!
