Hey Warriors. I'm trying to find a decent "membership" site with great Wordpress themes and it's been frustrating. I don't have time to screw around customizing my own themes, I want to spend my time on content creation, SEO, link building, and so on. So, I need a site where I can get good looking WP themes where I can quickly tweak it and go. I don't have the budget right now to spend a couple hundred dollars on a theme, which lead me to ElegantThemes. They look really good, but see no mention of SEO and load times. Finally, to my question. Have any of you used ElegantThemes? If so, how is the SEO and load times? Do you like it for your sites? Thank you for your time, I appreciate it. |

I'm a member of elegant themes. Unfortunately, I'm not techie enough to be able to change them, lol so haven't used them. They were recommended to me by a very tech oriented friend so I would assume they're pretty good on the SEO front and there is support if you have problems.

I just started with elegant themes also. SEO seems to be no different from any other theme bu load times were slow at first. I added WP Super Cache and DB Cache Plugins and this really sped up the load time. The support forum there is really active also if you need any help. Shane |

Hmm, so neither of you have tested any of them for any length of time? I just want to make sure there isn't something horribly wrong with them as far as SEO goes. The fact the author mentions SEO zero times, anywhere on his site that I can find, has me a bit apprehensive. Thanks for your replies though, I appreciate it. |

I exchanged a couple emails with the author, just wanted to let anyone reading know I no longer have any concerns about the SEO on his themes. Thanks again to those who posted their thoughts, and anyone else with any opinions/thoughts on this topic, please feel free to post them.

Hi! I should say I was fortunate enough to have invested $39 in WP Elegant Themes almost a year ago. I've had challenging times in my first 3 months but with the support of the WP Elegant Themes teams, I was able to overcome them and has become a happy member. The SEO tools are ready in every theme and it's there for you to use. But of course, there are a number of factors, including but not limited to content, backlinks and how you market your webpages, to make your site result in the first page. I have written an article related to it here. http://chrisfarrellship.com/10-sensi...elegant-themes More power! Thanks! |

I've been using ElegantThemes for a couple of years - also have memberships at Theme-Junkie, and Woo Themes. ET doesn't add new themes as often as Woo does but the support is amazing, and I am a true fan of the company. It's a great deal and the themes are solid. You really cannot go wrong with any of the above - but ET is 'special' in my book! Melody |
