Which are the Best Web Analytic Programs?

Hi Warriors,
Does anyone else have any more recommendations as of reliable and solid tracking programs for websites (paid or free) and why are they good? Why is google analytics a bad one to use?

thanks
Chloe

I wouldn't say Google Analytics is a bad one to use. It is actually pretty darn good.

But, there are alternatives. One of them is Woopra.
It has a paid and also a free program.
Here is a video explaining it a bit:

Woopra is pretty awesome because you can see who is live on your website in real time. That is something Google Analytics doesn't do.

I use Google analytics and I like it quite a bit, it is powerful.

    As an alternative, try Hippojaw.

    Thanks.

I have got experienced with many web analytics programs but nothing attracts more than the opentracker analytical service.comes with lot of options and poweful report sections

The only restriction i have found with this service is these service is also requires recurrence(premium subscription ) payment to maintain the account that made me to moved to the free analytic software like Google analytics

I'd also like to see an alternative. Why with Google Analytics you can sometimes get the full source path or URL while other times you cannot.

for example, on some sites I get traffic from ezines or articlbase , click thru to it and it'll give me the full path option (exact inner page of the referring domain) while most of the time it only offers just "articlbase" and not the specific url or article path it came from?

      this is very frustrating.
