Hi, Im looking to setup a website to sell digital products and exploring the different script options out there. I quite like WP eStore, it looks pretty simple to use, does anyone have any experience with it? Ideally I want to be able to add multi buy discounts (eg 3 products at $47 each, buy 2 and get them for $37 each, buy 3 get them for $27 etc etc) What would you guys recommend? Thanks |

My own personal opinion is if you want a high end - meaning relatively expensive I would go with Interspire Shopping cart - interspire.com I have worked with quite a few and a lot are just headaches. But my favorite one by far is the Interspire cart. It is pretty easy to work with and you can set up coupons, discounts, tiered discounts, sell digital or hard goods, shipping costs, multi-currency support, drag and drop layouts and the list goes on and on etc. Just go to their site and get all the juice you want. They have an online demo too that you can play with as well. But at $295.00 I am not sure whether it is an option for you. But if you do get it you will know where your money went. But there are also many, many other alternatives both free and less expensive. Not to mention online hosted alternatives like mals-e.com . Never tried them but it looks pretty good to me. Maybe also tradebit.com, But last time I looked after a customer purchased from more than one seller, you as a seller could see what the customer bought and also download the product from the other seller. Totally unacceptable if you ask me but the Admin did not seem to care nor mind. Just Google shopping cart software or free shopping carts or the like. This is a copy of the discount rules section from an Interspire Shopping Cart so you can see for yourself the varying degrees of flexibilty. Good Luck!! * Rule Name: (Such as 'Free shipping on orders over $200'. This name is for your reference only) Is This Rule Enabled? Yes, this discount rule is enabled and can be used Should This Rule Expire? Yes, this discount rule should expire after a certain date or number of uses (tick to choose) Make this discount rule inactive after use(s) Make this discount rule inactive after * Choose a Rule Type: Order Based Rules: Buy X items get free shipping Free shipping on orders over $X Get an $X discount on orders of $Y or more $X discount for repeat customers X% discount for repeat customers Product Based Rules: Buy one get one free Buy one get something else free Get X% off all items in one or more categories |

I recently bought NicheBlueprint 2.0. The course comes with ecommerce script as part of their package for building your own ecoomerce business. Maybe u can have a look at them - the store script may need customization obviously but should od the job. |
