Pamela software for recordig skype calls.. any past experience with it and anyone know how to use it

Hey guys!

I'm thinking of buying "pamela", the software used for recording skype calls.. Anyone here have any past experiences with this software, like how is the quality and are you satisfied? does it work? If not are there any other preferred recomendations to record skype calls?

Also, i would like to know how the software works.. For example, how do i use/ integrate pamela together with skype to record the calls? and after recording the calls, what file format are they in and can i make them into mp3 files so that i can put it in a video and stuff?

    There are many Call Recording plugins inside Skype. You might wanna try those first.

    While in a Skype Conversation, click on Extras and click Play Games. Choose Productivity from the sidebar of the Window that opens.

    You can see the free version of Pamela there too.

    If I'm not mistaken, you can get instructions on their site. Otherwise, you would be surprised what you can find on YouTube.

      If you doubt, u can find other free programs. Or try a trial version of some program. For example, Skypecap (record skype calls) has a trial version. Good luck!

    One of the easiest ways to record audio off your 'puter (skype calls, streaming audio, youtube audio, etc.) is with a firefox plugin called "freecorder". You select the audio quality and the filetype. I have only ever recorded as MP3s, so I'm not sure which other formats you can use.

    Basically, if it's coming out of your PC speaker or into plugged in headphones, you can record it.

    BTW -it looks like it will capture streaming video now as well. Cool.

    I use Call Recorder for the mac. Here is an example of a video call I recorded.

    I use MP3 Skype Recorder | Free Skype call recorder its free.

    I set it up to record in stereo, it places the caller on one channel and you on the other.

    Pamela is excellent. I just use the call recorder version and not the full Pamela, but it has among the highest quality bitrate and rendering of MP3 from a Skype call that I have ever found.

    I wanted to record my Skype video calls, but I had trouble with the plugins. Thankfully, I found RHUB's service, which has the recording capability built in.
