You could try here: Wholesale Dropshippers Directory There sre many dropshipping directories, go through them and see if you can find something matching your requirements before you become a full member as many charge a fee for membership. |

I'm a member of Worldwide Brands. They have a very large selection of dropshipping companies to choose from. Not sure about hydroponics though, but then again I've never researched that niche. Good luck! Sean |

Second the suggestion for a membership to Worldwide Brands. Great directory of wholesale/dropship suppliers, plus a TON of educational content.

Be careful with dropshipping "lists" that are floating around. The one I've used consistently is Shopster because its so easy and if you can send traffic to it, it's a great starting Wholesale provider with an easy to use interface. -Safe Travels |

I just read an article in the times about this. I am thinking about trying to monetize hydroponics myself. I am more interested in actually growing the product at this time though. Let me know how it goes for you. This field looks like it might take off soon.

Try a search: Hydroponics Drop ship on Google returned over 300k results. Then you can contact the company directly.

It's a big market and people that wants to grow indoors need to spend quite some money to start. So you will see orders of a few hundred dollars per order. Amazon works well only the commision is low. That's why i thought about a dropshipper and start a store myself or something like that. Good thing about Amazon is that the conversion is pretty good so I guess there's a big trust factor here for the people that buy products.

One lesser-known dropshipping secret is that many companies will provide dropshipping services even if they don't mention it on your website. If you have a favorite grow product, contact the vendor directly and see if they'll deal. This will be difficult without a web presence, resale number, and, sometimes, merchant account.

World Wide Brands is great, I have been a member since 2004. If they don't have a supplier for a product, they will find one for you.

I agree with those above. I've personally know Chris Malta of WorldWideBrands for nearly a decade. Very honest, trustworthy, and has a great product. They have a membership where you can find just about anything you want and have it dropshipped. Just be sure to check eBay "street prices" against the wholesale price. Also, pick odd-ball , non-commodity items so lessen your competition. Another great source is to look for manufacturers and distributors directly at ThomasNet.com I've sold over 1500 refurbished dropshipped dehumidifiers on eBay. My source wasn't on anyone's list. I had to explain the concept of dropshipping to him! LOL :-) The result so I had no competition and made a KILLING. You gotta be VERY careful about back-orders on eBay. That's when you sell the item but then your supplier is out of stock! ACK!! That's a scary thing. Check out the ebook called "12 Killer Dropship SECRETS For eBay Sellers". It's a classic "street smart" ebook on how to avoid the common problems with dropshipping ...Mikee17 Founder: AuctionTNT.com and PlatinumPowerSeller.com |

I do agree with the people who say that World Wide Brands is the best also I don't know how many know about Amazon I use Amazon to drop ship a lot of my power tools. Amazon have contract with a lot Major Manufactures and they get a reduce rate and Amazon sent me emails on all of the specials and they sell some products below the Manufactures prices because Amazon is a Giant in drop shipping and you can find some great deals and they will ship your items free.http://www.drop-ship-dropship-companies.blogspot.com |

I know you're wanting to know more about dropshippers, but have you ever considered finding a good wholesaler and a good fulfillment house? You could possible even save money by doing this. I know the hassle may be a bit more than using a dropshipper, but your competion will be significantly lower and your profits hopefully will skyrocket.

Does anyone actually make money with drop shipping? In my experience, the drop ship price is typically close to or more than you can buy it for on Amazon or eBay. If you do get a discount, it isn't enough to cover your expenses.

| I also agree...back when I was selling items on eBay years ago, these guys were around and I was a member for a time. They go out to alot of seminars and such and they are legit. I can only imagine their site is bigger and better now as back then it was fantastic. Really updated abd accurate descriptions of TRUE drop shippers.
