It's not a profitable business model, especially if you are starting with a new website. You need thousands of visits to your site to get some $$ out of it. Personally, I'm fed up with websites jam packed with adsense and other ads and I don't click on them. Cheers |

I honestly manage to make about 20 euro per month with my blog. I have now discovered that I have to use Adsense for feeds to try and impulse my earnings. Adsense is alright for me and I hope I end up earning about 100 each month, that would be supreme! ^^

Adsence income will be slow in the beginning but don't worry after 2 or 3 months you will notice a significant increase. You just need to have the right keyword and drive traffic to your site. Sharon |

LOl - no you do NOT need thousands of visits a month to make any money! You need to do your research and find the right keywords that pay more than a couple of pennies apiece and provide good content to your visitors. I have sites that get a handful of visitors a day - but make at $2 to $10 per click - they make good money. There is definitely money to be made in Adsense - but not it is not a sustainable business model if you are building 'made for adsense' sites as opposed to 'made for human' sites Melody |

If you have an adsense website and earning $20 per month, having 5 of those sites will increase your earnings to $100. Beside, building adsense biz needs a lot of patience before you can see the doughs coming in

Yes you have to remember that if you target the right niches you can get paid more per click. It was always my assumption (wrongly) that adsense was a waste of time because you only get cents per click. Of course in some niches you can get several dollars per click providing you look at (roughly) what adwords advertisers are paying per click.

Like most other business models in IM, there's plenty of money to be made with Adsense. And like most other business models in IM, there are a number of ways to do it. That said, significant success with Adsense - and most other business models - is often a case of getting a lot of the details 'right'. The difference between marginal returns and making a lot of money can be just a slight difference in how you do your keyword research; whether you are targeting appropriate search terms, and whether you can get Page 1 rankings. If you focus on high-paying keywords ($.50 or more EPC) inside niches with strong, consistent traffic, and target search phrases that you can rank for, you can as much money as you want, depending on your available time or resources. As for how long it takes - how long does it take to get a page onto Page 1? That's how long it takes to start seeing consistent revenues. Michael |

It's not entirely correct to say that you can't make any money from AdSense. It used to be a whole lot easier though.
