What section should threads like this be in?

MODERATOR In the Main Forum - where the OP placed it ;-) We have a couple of new mods in there so I think one must have made a mistake.

Hi Ruch1v!

I know, and i'm worried about that, but i need to remark the kinda guitarrist that toni is, so i need some audio... maybe i'll edit the video, add some fade in&out effects and cut it to 5-10 seconds ... maybe that works.

You have a killer product. It should sell very well. Who wouldn't like to play guitar like this guy...

But... I am surprised nobody said anything about the eCovers for the eBook and audio-video... I mean, after all the effort that was done till now, the potential buyer sees a cheap, really ugly designed cover for the product...

There are great WSOs that can do your cover for as little as $15. You can use the headers' design so you have a consistent identity for your product...

Here's some thoughts:

Your header graphic is nice but takes up too much space.

Almost straight away you're giving away the fact it's a sales page with your deck copy. This might be fine or it might immediately turn people off depending on your traffic.

You're selling on Toni's name, is his name well known enough? Regardless, I'd give him a better intro, explain who he is and why he's qualified to teach. The video's impressive but not quite enough by itself.

Make more of the problem, make your reader aware that he has a problem (not enough time to practice, no suitable instructor, etc.), emotionalize it, then make him aware that you have the solution.

Your English is good, but not quite good enough for selling. This could do with a native speaker giving it a proofread.

Flesh out your bullets a bit more, instead of just listing technique names go into each in more depth, e.g. The quickest and easiest method to sweep pick like a pro (p.55) and 7 secret techniques that let you instantly memorize ANY six string sequence (p. 37) Disclaimer: I obviously know nothing about playing the guitar!

Use more bullets and more copy to let readers know exactly what they're getting.

I'd get rid of the opt-in box, the sole aim of the sales page should be to sell. If you're getting visitors from outside your funnel try an exit pop-up.

The black video screens don't look good, try using the first frame of the video as a placeholder.

Get the real names and locations of the testimonial givers, if possible get a photo. And get them translated better.

The quote from Toni needs some work: drop 'attempt' and space it out a little more to make it easier to read.

Make more of the guarantee and make it longer and more specific, e.g. I believe you'll be absolutely thrilled with Toni's book... but in the unlikely event that you're not, you'll get every single cent back. If after 30 days you're not delighted with your new found abilities then I will give you an immediate, hassle-free, no questions asked refund.

And finally, so you can charge more, and you should, it looks like a quality product... don't sell it as an ebook, sell it as a course. Aim for $197. If you test it you might be surprised at how your price actually affects sales.

Hope some of this helps.

I'm on the way Hope this week I get the new design for the course. 5 books + 2 Cds per each book. I think that will help for the hype!

Thanks Andrew!! Very good ideas on your post. I'll work on them inmediatly.
I'm working on a new sales page with an english native copywriter.

I'm thinking now on how start the promotion of the site.

I've been studing some KW that will work, should I publish some articles about guitars/guitarists and link to my site from the resource box or write about some guitar techniques, including the KW, and link to my site from the resource box?

not sure if this has been said already, but try and get the REAL names of the people who left a testimonial, a testimonial from 'x7bn' or 'MeTaL3r0 o7' doesn't really mean much to me

Thanks for the advice!

Good on your first sale. I personally don't like the video starting when you load the page but I suppose it is because I have been to your page a few time.

You really need to do something about those black boxes as that can be a sales stopper. Can you add a graphic of the start of the video and when they click on the graphic the video starts.

Good for removing that opt in page - you have enough sample videos on the site to show the content.

Nice! So did you JV with Toni? I too run a guitar website featuring multiple musicians. Also, a site with my father (violinist)

Hit me up sometime, it would be cool to chat.

Hi again!

After compiling all the information from the previous posts I've finally finished a new design for my website.

Sweep Picking | Alternate Picking | Legato | Tapping | Modern Guitar Method by Toni Lloret | Electric Guitar Lessons | Modern Guitar Method by Toni Lloret

I think it's more professional and maybe its time to leave the design parked and start promoting the site to check conversions.

What's your actual opinion??

Thanks!

Your site looks great. This is certainly a serious time. I am sure in time, you will make lots of sales. Article marketing is my favorite method of free promotion. Good design.

Well, I'm here again. Over 1 Month of starting the new site, I've finally started to have some of the KW choosen on 1st page of google, and some traffic (low) is starting to arrive to the website!

There aren't new sales, but until I don't get more traffic, I'm not going to tweak anything on the sales page.

I'm finishing a blog section inside the website too, where to write articles about some other KW and try to get more traffic.

It's being hard (slow links indexing, hard to find writters for guitar techniques articles, etc) but my goal is having +500 visits daily only from natural traffic in the next 3-4 months, and try to get at least 0.5% of conversion. What do you think about that numbers?

Thanks for all your help on this post!
