Icansoft Traffic Mania RSS Bot and Directory Bot

I purchased the Traffic Mania RSS Bot and Directory Bot about a month ago. I then spent several days creating RSS feed pages for my site, and sent my site info to hundreds of directories.

Although the software mechanically works great, I have to say that I have seen zero increase in traffic, and zero increase in sales.

Am I the only one with this kind of response from these two products?

I am wondering if the RSS directories and link directories that these tools bulk submit to are pretty much ignored by everyone, and are thus a waste of time.

I have had results in the past where my keyword research was excellent. It just like everything else, you have to put good stuff in it. Auto traffic it is not, but I don't think BM sells it that way.

Your looking for a push button solution to bring you traffic in sales, no where does it say on any of the icansoft products that they are push button traffic sales software so why would you think they would?

They are effective TOOLS but the tools are only as good as the person using them.

If you think they are a waste of time then don't use them period, but if you took time to use the search function on this forum you would see the hundreds of positive reviews by warrior members about icansoft products.

I guess you are all right ... I have no idea what I am doing. Yes I was looking for software that I could buy, which would indeed generate traffic to my websites via list submission.

As I clearly have no idea what I am doing this explains the poor results.

In my opinion (as an amatuer) the words " Traffic Mania" imply the generation of website traffic. My experience with these products have not been congruent with the words "Traffic Mania."

Your problem is that you are expecting traffic within a month. The only way to do that is by PPC.

Also, the directory submitter isn't a means of getting traffic, rather, to boost your site in the SERP's... I'm just guessing here but the quality of those directories is likely suspect and therefore will take a long time to index and not likely provide much link juice. There are also those that believe that directory submissions are a thing of the past and won't help you in the SERP's at all.

All this being said at least you found some products, and took some action in your online biz. That is more than a lot of people do. Your success will come in time.

As Negotiator74 said, you have done really great just by taking the action you took, even though you say you have no idea what you are doing.
The tool you have is meant to help you build links and "presence" ( I believe). This takes a bit of time. Sometimes, the links you are sure to have build may not even show until after some weeks.

Now that you have announced your website to the properties you submitted to, do some other linking efforts - blog posts, forums, more articles, web2.0, etc and keep on building traffic and (yet) more links, and you will see the result one day.

Try and identify the specific areas that "you don't know what you are doing" and improve on them. You are already in good hands just by being here. Just snoop around and pick the great brains of all those top guys here and you will do well in due time. Good luck

To complement my efforts I purchased the icansoft Article Bot a few weeks ago, and I wrote and submitted two articles relating to my CashSender.com site. The articles were submitted to about 400 articles directories.

This too brought no noticeable traffic to my site. Not within the past two weeks. So I can only hope in time (months or years) the efforts of today might result in an actual tangible benefit.

Yes it is possible that many of these article directories are slow to approve and post the articles as I only got confirmations of postings from two or three of the four hundred that were submitted.

As a side note: The Article Bot has some programming bugs which I have pointed out to icansoft and they responded that they'd look into the problems.

    Specifically ...

    1) the software replaces appostrophe marks with funny error code. For example "the car's red door" becomes "the car%#*&s red door"

    2) Numbers are completely stripped out of sentences "you can save $5000 every year" become "you can save every year"

These problems did not become aware to me until I checked the two posts that were actually approved in the article directories. So I had to manually correct the articles and resubmit manually. As the errors were in both unrelated websites, it was an error in the icansoft code that did this.

My concern is that if hundreds of directories posted my articles, these errors are in all of them .. and such errors completely destroy the meaning of the articles. It was very frustrating to say the least.

Hopefully icansoft can fix the problem.

Did you write your articles using MSWord? That uses a non-standard apostrophe mark that causes problems for other programs.

IMHO the main aim of submitting to article directories is not to get traffic but to get backlinks. How many have you got from these two articles?

Yes I wrote the articles in MS Word and then pasted the articles into the Article Bot software. The apostrophes showed up fine .. and all the numbers appeared as they should. But when my articles appeared on the article sites they had all these problems. Is the solution to not use apostrophe marks?

In each article I had one link to my website in the "about the author sector" so I got two links for the two articles.

Mike, what is your opinion from SEO perspective on the backlink.html file that now come with Directory Bot which one has to upload to his or her root directory of the website to be submitted for reciprocal link. Is reciprocal links adviseable from SEO perspective these days?

I use these and have seen a boost in visitors because of them. One of my sites (maxsinclairpresents) saw a pretty good jump in traffic, but I have never really seriously done anything with this in the year I've had it. When I had some of the products going, though, I saw a good increase in traffic, so I am guessing it was their stuff that was responsible...lol. Gods know it was not my 'marketing effectiveness" at the time...heh

maxsinclair, you have only 73 links to that site, and most of the links are 2 sites.1 of them being here. you said you've had it a year? I'd rethink my strategy. I doubt you saw any traffic. Id say hand submit unique articles only to the top directory's only and see what happens?

The icansoftbots work fine. 2 weeks and 2 articles if it were me I would not be expecting a flood of traffic. Now if you told me you spun those articles at around 40-80% when you submitted them I would be just telling you to sit on it a bit and get some more backlinks and think about your next article. It can several articles and more than just directory submissions to get traffic. You may need to do some more articles and social bookmarking. If you want traffic in two weeks you will likely need to pay for it.

Don't get me wrong in a niche that is undiscovered and has little competition what you are wanting to do can be done. Most niches have some form of competition and will require more than just a few article submissions and 2 weeks. It may take 10-30 articles and several weeks to see some traffic that converts to sales. It all depends on what keywords your are chasing or targeting and on your linking strategy.

Not to sound rude but 2 weeks is not a lot of time and 2 articles is not a lot of effort.

      Good luck

I personally use incansoft video bot to help boost SERP's for video and it does a great job in helping build links. For those that don't want to fork out $$$ for Traffic Geyser - it's a no brainer.

I use Incansoft's RSS Feed Submitter and like it fine. I have a site on 1st page of Google and this just about all the SEO I do. However when I first got it I got only about 5 failures with it, but now getting about 15. I don't know what happened there, but nevertheless, I like the product and the price is the best part.
