Can Review posting Influence SEO Ranking???

Dear Friends, Though I am newcomer in Forum. I wanna know that If, I posted comments in review site, then will it influence page rank or SEO rank.

Threads from this section often feature on the first page of Google for the particular product. That's why some product owners get all their friends to post nice comments on here or you get 'unknown' people asking questions about a new product they've "heard is good" two weeks before it comes out.

Obviously, we don't want this to happen so the moderators keep a close eye on it, remove threads and ban people. I wouldn't advise people to try it.

We only want unbiased reviews of products with no ulterior motive.
