Has anyone tried the new just released version of Social Bookmarking Demon? Is it all it is hyped up to be. Any honest thoughts would be appreciated.

Is it worth the money? How is the new version better than the older?

Worth the money? I say... I blasted out to a few the other day, waited about 48 hours and found myself in top position in google and yahoo. |

Thanks all for mentioning social bookmarking demon. I just bought it and cant wait to get started. I think Im going through a "automate everything" phase. It wont be long or Im asking other people to spend my money too...am i going overboard? |

I've just bought it too I did buy Social bot 3 but it turned out it wasn't compatible with 64 OS's so I got a refund bought this instead. I must say though I'm very impressed with this and how automated it is. |

Hi Guys, thanks for all your input, can you tell me if the sites used in Demon are nofollow sites? Are you using the service to get backlinks and increase ranking or to get visitors directly from the sites. I've read a couple of great posts talking about how digg traffic or stumble traffic is not worth much money, too net savvy, they don't buy anything or click on any ads. I bought social bot recently but the downside to that is most of the sites listed are worthless scuttle sites, no visitors, no ranking. Derek |

huggy BMD is all about backlinks: nothing to do with traffic. It doesn't cover digg et al but nearly 60 other site, scuttles etc. The latest beta is very very cool

Bookmarking Demon 4 is the best social bookmarker/account creator out there bar none. If only all IM software was this good/reliable/value for money.

Doug, Read the rules of the forum. Affiliate links are not allowed. This is a review forum. Not sure why people continue to do it |

I have the Bookmarking Demon 4 Beta and I'm very impressed! Auto creation of accounts (multiple accounts if you'd like, just put in multiple usernames you want it to cycle through) This is one thing I noticed that SocialBot 3.0 and SocialMarker severely lack, as you basically have to manually create accounts (or spend money outsourcing). No need with BMD! It even keeps track of the accounts you create so you can cycle through the ones you post with manually, or randomly via automatic click of a button. IP Masking to not make it so obviously clear who is posting and pinging, etc. Honestly BMD 4 blows away the competition for sure, the only downside of the Beta is that it has limited sites to bookmark to right now as the software is fully tested out. However Edwin said that when it is ready to be released all 20 of the main bookmarking sites will be added in. Currently the main, non-scuttle, sites are: Delicious, a1-webmarks, searchles, faves, spurl, syncone, getboo, and furl Still worth it for sure, as you can still ping any pages / sites you wish with as many ping sites as you want (adding them and removing them as you want) I'd buy it again if I had to, but luckily I bought it at v3 (and the regular updates have made up for that 10x over) Not an affiliate of the program, but it is so rare to come across quality programs I had to add my 2cents. I only with Article Post Robot had an automatic account creation feature as well :'( |

Are such tools of much use to someone with only one website or are they more for those with dozens of domains? B. |

Cheers Shayne. I've only recently purchashed Roboform and it's pretty darn handy. I'm still not entirely sure what one does with these bookmarking thingies. Do you just join, post the link to your homepage and leave it at that, or do you also point to some/all internal pages? Put it this way, I have one main site, which soon will have another major section added to the same domain. That new section is the main thing I wish to market as the primary part of the site is already well indexed etc. Should I wait until the new section is live then bookmark that or should I bookmark the main domain then do the new section later? And does anyone actually use these sites for anything other than plugging their own sites? If so, what exactly? Do people actually join websites in order to post links? If so, why? Maybe I'm old fashioned or something... B. |

Just be careful that you don't abuse this tool... Some expert SEO fundi's predict that social bookmark links will be (are already) discounted in the Google Algorithm. As hard as you try to gain an unfair advantage, the more you motivate Google to plug this loophole (if they haven't started already). Gerrit |

It wouldn't surprise me if Google and the like ignore such links altogether. I don't see much difference between this and the old FFA pages, except now there's meant to be a community of sorts. B. |

I presently use socialmaker which is free but its still quite a lot of work as it not really fully automated. Is the social Bookmarking Demon fully automated?

| This is exactly why you should be working to put yourself in a position where traffic you receive from G is gravy. Very tasty gravy indeed, but not what you live off of. Get off the G treadmill!
