PayDotCom vs Paypal ONLY

Hey everybody. I'm selling a handful of products (one single product and two membership sites).

I initially handled everything with Paypal. Recently I wanted to integrate affiliates, so I started using PayDotCom. However, I ONLY use PayDotCom for affiliate sales. I basically have two sales pages. The main one (Paypal) and the one affiliates point to (PayDotCom).

I fear that my affiliates may not be getting paid, since their referrals may not buy initially, then they'll come back to my site later and buy using the Paypal button.

PayDotCom is an additional $3 fee per sale, so I thought I'd save a few bucks by not running my normal, non-affiliate sales, directly through Paypal.

Should I just forget about it and use ONLY PayDotCom buttons?

If you're serious about keeping affiliates then you'll want to run the whole thing on Paydotcom. I'd definitely stop promoting something if I found out they were funneling sales through another link and not paying out.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. I'm definitely NOT trying to "pull one over" on my affiliates. In my head it worked better, but I'm seeing it in action, and it's not working as well.

I shall make the change. Thank you!

I'd stick with PayDotCom bro. Me personally I won't do any long term business ventures with PayPal only because I can't trust them. They'll freeze your account without a moments notice and you'll have no idea why. It's happened to me countless times so I'd go with PayDotCom. Good luck to you.

But PayDotCom doesn't process payments. All the payments are still processed through Paypal.

I'm new at this so sorry if this sounds silly but...

Is PayDotCom affiliated in any way with PayPal? I have a PayDotCom account and would love to use them instead of PayPal. I, too, don't "trust" PayPal.

    Ina
