I am on Josh Spaulding's list and really like the stuff he produces. I notice that he released a new software - deep linker pro the other day and is available at a discount for a couple of days Has anybody bought it and used it? It will be too early I think to share actual results but it seems to me to be not much more than a directory submitter. I remain to be convinced about the benefit of directory submission but am happy to be corrected and educated otherwise ... |

Hi Andy, It is exactly that; an advanced Directory Submitter. I initially had it developed for myself, as a private tool, and later decided to go forward with it and release it to the public. Web directory links should not be your only source of incoming links, but they are still very much effective. It comes down to this, if a site, no matter what type of site it is, gets indexed and assigned authority from Google, it's a backlink and web directories are indexed and assigned authority by google. As for a very common question I get: Won't Google penalize my site if it receives too many backlinks at once? Yes, it may. But with "DLP" your site will not receive a big surge of backlinks all at once. VERY few directories instantly approve links. Some will approve your link within a day, others a week or two later and some even several months to a year later. This means your site will receive steady backlinks over a long period of time, which Google loves! Thanks for your interest in my product and I appreciate the support. |

Josh, Are you planning on offering a WSO for this product and can you add spin syntax so that the directories don't all get the same description etc, or is this even a concern? |

I probably won't offer a WSO, but the early bird discount is still available for about 34 more hours at Josh Spaulding's "Deep Linker Pro" Directory Submitter Multiple titles/descriptions are one of the top updates for version 2, which will be free to all paying customers. There will be many more nice upgrades in version 2 as well, including more directory lists. Hope that helps, Josh |

It has an internal process log that shows the status of each submission as it's happening.

Here is an honest 15 minute video review without any affiliate links: DEEP LINKER PRO REVIEW A little summary of the review: -The program has a list of almost 700 web directories, all based on one script phpLD. -My estimate is that you get about 100 links per site with this version, if you use it in a "you push a button and you're done" way. Which I find good. Why I estimate 100 links? I'm being realistic. Some submissions will fail, some owners will not approve your link and some directories will go down very fast (like tomorrow)... -Don't expect these links to be better for Google than let's say article marketing links. But hey, these links still can help. -Category selection is not ideal and it will miss some selections for sure. But this program is more about quantity of submissions. -There are little bugs in this first version, but nothing that will stop you from doing the job. -With all it's good and bad sides, this is a very good directory submitter. Definitely one of the best you can buy, and the price is very good. I've tried at least 5 of them throughout the years. |

Hi Adams, Yes, you can. It's alot of sites, but web directory admins have a reputation for taking their time approving links, which actually works out as a positive. There are hundreds of directories in the list, but they aren't all approved at once. They come in slowly over time. Also, in version 2, which will be available sometime May/June will have multiple submission lists that are smaller, so you can segment your submissions. Hope that helps, Josh |

I use Deeplinker Pro alot and think it is a wonderful directory submitter. I received a letter from Josh Spaulding about two weeks or so ago about the release of Deeplinker Pro 2 in a week. Well, it wasn't released and I'm still waiting. I have a bunch of sites I want to use version two on, so I'm holding off on them but I can't wait forever. Does anyone know what is keeping version 2 from being released?

Hi DM, Glad you like DLP and I apologize for the delay. My main developer for version 2 had an unexpected death in his family, which has obviously delayed his work. Version 2 is complete, just a few bugs to work out. He is back to work and we do expect it to be available very soon. Best Regards, Josh |

I couldn't make the software to work for me and asked Josh for a refund. My request was completely ignored although he answered previous support questions (where he admitted the continued bugs in it). So he calls himself a honest marketer? A dubious claim, judging from my unhappy experience. |

I was in the beta of DLP, and it worked fine even then. There aren't much directories that allow deep linking in DLP as of right now, but I trust Josh that more will be added. I just wish that it would work on a mac (without any virtual windows). |

Hi Josh, How does Deep Link Pro compare to something like Manual Directory Submission Service: Get One-Way Links | Directory Maximizer (not an affiliate link) I'm very interested but was wondering if the directories inside DLP are also high PR directories and if it will eventually offer all the same options as Directory Maximizer? After we purchase DLP can we install it on our laptop and desktop or can it only be installed on one computer? Thanks Josh |

Sparkie - I can actually answer one of your questions. I've owned this for about 6 weeks and it's been working fine for me. A pre-sales question that I had was "how many computers can I put it on?" because I have outsourcers. This is fantastic - it's a desktop system but you login each time you open it with your ID so I can give it to ALL of my outsourcers to use and have it on both of my computers at home. They do monitor the usage and I really only have 1 guy using it continuously but, when things get slow, I can always hand any one of them a list of sites and they can open this up and use it. ...and yes, there many high PR directories. |

Is anyone getting an error message when opening the software on a 64 Bit System? I downloaded the 64 Bit option and it said download successfull. When I open the software I get a pop up error box and the program doesn't load correctly. I uninstalled and installed twice but same problem. ERROR MESSAGE: The 'Microsoft.Jet.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. I opened a support ticket but have not heard back. Never had a problem like this before with a program on my 64 Bit. Thanks for any help guys! |

@ kelldall - Sorry for the trouble. I see I see ticket #637567 was submitted: Wed, Jun 23 2010 3:43am And I personally replied to it: Wed, Jun 23 2010 11:55am I also see you posted this thread support request unanswered - IMD Forum - Internet Marketing Discussion Forums at my IMD Forum, which was responded to by me personally on the 5th of June. I do see in the ticket you submitted that you requested a refund and that it was denied (you can read that when checking the status of the ticket) because your request was made after the refund period (stated on the sales page.) This is done at my CPA's request, for tax purposes and is standard practice. (Even Clickbank has a 60 day window.) The only thing I would have missed is a PM here at the Warrior Forum, as I rarely check them. I'm not sure what is being ignored ![]() @ Sparkie2260 & remodeler - Unfortunately I do not use any other submitter, so I cannot offer any comparison. I can say that what DLP doesn't do now, it will do in the future. I plan to continuously update it (free to all paying customers.) |

Thanks Trish...I just submitted another ticket. So are you saying that your using the 32 Bit download on your 64 Bit system and it's working fine like that? I might have to go with that option if the 64 Bit download problem isn't resolved

Hi Oliver, Die meisten Verzeichnisse in unserer Liste sind Englisch und akzeptieren auch nur englische Seiten. Sie werden eher links von Nicht-Englischen Seiten bekommen, wahrscheinlich aber auch nicht viele. (Most of the directories in our list are English and only accept English sites. You would likely get some links from submission of a non-English site, but probably not many.) Josh |

Josh, In reference to your reply of the August 2nd in this thread, I persevered with the software because I was trying my utmost to make it work effectively for me; this also entailed taking into consideration your advice that directory acceptance could take some time It was only after a reasonable time period had elapsed with few discernable links to my site that I requested a refund. OK so now I know that commercial reality of CPA numbers and standard practice take precedence over discretion of service to customers. Tough luck for me this time. |

Hi Skyla, Sorry for the trouble. This is a known bug that is occuring on a few systems. However, there are only about 20 sites that are being missed, as there are approximately 380 auto submission sites in the version 1 list. Version 2 is just about ready. It fixes this bug, adds a few new features and adds alot more sites to the lists. All paying customers will get version 2 free of charge. Best Regards, Josh |

Don't waste your money on this product. It doesn't even work anymore! And he also never updated the program as promised. I have purchased around 50 SEO programs over the years. I have 49 programs that work and one that doesn't - Deep Linker Pro! When I contacted Josh about the software no longer working he gave me a couple lame excuses and would only give a refund to people who purchased the software within the last 60 days. So everyone else that wasted $67 on his software like me got screwed. I guess everyone gets ripped off sometimes and this time it was me getting ripped of by Josh Spaulding. | |

Thats why now whenever I invest in any new software, I have unreasonably high standards to make myself comfortable that the product/developer have longevity.....not a perfect science, but better than buying just based on the hype of a new toy. Ski |

Hi guys, sorry for the delay. Due to a third party provider being discontinued, we were forced to discontinue the current desktop app. However, the good news is that we're currently actively developing a brand new web based app that will be far superior! This new app will eliminated almost all of the challenges we had with the initial app and will also allow us to add some more very cool features! I'll be the first to admit that although DLP had alot of value, there were several bugs that caused alot of problems. Partly due to a bad developer initially and partly due to a third party company "dropping the ball." So, I sincerely apologize for the wait and the trouble and I'll be sure to let you all know the second our new web based submitter is completed! I wish you all a very Happy and Safe New Year! |

@ Josh Spaulding You sold a crappy software that was never updated, didn't do what you said it would do, and now it doesn't even work at all. In other words you ripped people off. When confronted with this you have the nerve to tell people about your upcoming "superior" product? What a joke. LOL Saying your new product is superior to the old product is laughable. Any SEO software program that works is superior to Deep Linker Pro. It doesn't work. Remember? |

Hi mmfromh, This is the unfortunate nature of software. In many cases you have to rely on third parties. I would see your point if I were trying to sell the new version to previous customers, but it will of course be free of charge to all who purchased. Josh |

I just removed the entire sales page to avoid future confusion, but the software has not been sold for a long while now... the sales page was displaying, but all buy now links were inactive. DLP v.2 is just about ready for beta and will work on a credit system. So those willing to give it another chance will not have to buy the software and will get a few free credits to use it before you purchase any credits. (previous customers will get ALOT of free credits) This new version was rebuilt from the ground up with one of the best developers I've ever worked with. With the way things went I can certainly see how this situation could cause hard feelings... I myself am very upset at how things turned out! In my 8+ years of running my online business and selling many different products, this is the only product with negative reviews and deservedly so. I'm on a mission to make things right to those who got the problematic version of the software, even those who refunded. I'll be emailing all DLP customers with info on how they can use Version 2 for free once it becomes available. I apologize for the inconvenience and trouble. Those who have bought any of my other products and/or follow my blog know that I try my best to help people and do things in an ethical manner. |
