Has anyone tried DomainStryker.com or DomainFace via Domain Samurai? Do they even do the same things? How are they different? I hope Domain Stryker sees this so that he can comment about his product. How much does Domain Stryker cost? The website only mentions a $1 7 day trial. DomainStryker.com DomainFace.com |

It's the first time I hear of DomainFace... looks like it's brand new ![]() What I can tell you guys is that we're pretty good at what we do @ www.domainstryker.com The service is still new to many as well as it was only made public some 6 month's ago but we've been at it since ~2004. Unlike our competitors, we keep it nice and simple with our daily filtered lists.. Only presenting root keyword search volumes and PPC data. All other metrics don't matter all that much at the end of the day. |

I can only comment on DomainFace via Domain Samurai - it provides you lists of registered domains available to purchase, based on your keywords. I spent some time browsing it with keywords but it didn't come up with anything good for me, and I actually got some great unregistered domains just via Domain Samurai. |

I just purchased DomainFace DS. Are there any instructions on how to use DomainFace or course material on how to monetize the domains you find in DomainFace?

This may sound a little more prejudiced that I mean it too, but from my personal experience, ANYTHING the guys from Market Samurai do is Top Shelf. Most the big guns I track, use Market Samurai. Not 100% sure if Frank Kern is a MS user but I know Chad @ Chaddo.com uses MS (I bought MS after watching him demo how he uses it) and as many know, Chad's SEO and backlink stuff is as good as it gets. If you've sold any copies of MS and have gotten to see and use their affiliate dashboard, then you know they manage their internal stuff very nicely too. I just finished packaging the Market Samurai | Domain Samurai combo and synced up DomainFace with GoDaddy, Hostgator, NameCheap using their by-the-numbers drill and in about 5-6 minutes, I was good to go. Besides delivering strong SW tools, MS has some of the best video training on their DoJo tab and these vids are free knowledge. Maybe that's why I am a strong support of the guys from down under. |

Hi, I haven't tested Domain Stryker. I tested Domain Face for 5 weeks. I am afraid to tell their domain name database is outdated. ie: I searched for High Page Rank domain names, received some query results but from that list none were still available. 100% outdated from that list. So even if Domain face is really easy to use, it is absolutely useless to my business... This week, I will try test Register Compass. There is for sure a difference in terms of pricing (Domain Face subscription starts at $19 / month) but if you can't get accurate data in return you aren't saving any money... Hope it helps! Joe. PS: umatt, is it possible w/ Register Compass to search domain names containing foreign keywords? Examples: French, Spanish, German keywords... |

In regards to Domain Face, I just received an email this morning in regards to a question I had about their lifetime pricing for Market Samurai members and received this email about updates being made to their servers: Quote:

Hello it was possible to search for keywords in the title of the Yahoo Backlink pages. But unfortunatelly Yahoo's siteexplorer is gone now ;( We will have a similar feature available soon based on other backlink sources. During that - you might want to filter for "contain in dictionaries" therewhile. Uwe

The only reason I found out that they officially had a problem was because I asked and wanted credit on my account for the lack of results. There was no mention of the issues on their site until only recently. That really frustrated me. When the service was working it was by far my favourite domain auction search engine but now have resorted back to dropday.com - great results but the interface can be a pain. I really hope they fix it as the saved searches are super handy.

I never heard about DropDay before today. Another challenger to give an eye to. Yes it's sad to notice Domain Face was out of order for months. Imho the worse is when customers aren't informed about the issue. I liked their interface but as mentioned before the data were so outdated that it added no value at all. Joe.

Joe, Drop Day's list is comprehensive but I still have to go to other places to check the quality of the domain (backlink checks using OSE and MajesticSEO). I am going to look at RegisterCompass and see how it integrates with Majestic. It has enough to make good filters though to minimise the work. Keyword based filters and the lack of notifications are it's biggest downfall. Domainface's database was pretty much identical to dropdays until around August/September last year. It was a great service and the reason I initially switched over to it from dropday. |

Hello Fraggler, I will test a last time Domain Face, then Drop Day & finally Register Compass... until I get exactly what I am looking for. Generally speaking having a web-based solution is easier for me rather running a software just like Market samurai. Joe. |
