Default Anyone Tried WPmage

George Brown has recently been marketing software provided by a friend of his in Thailand. This software WPMage is for very easily setting up highly optimised and what looks like top class Wordpress sites. It looks very clever because he did a demo and uploaded 300 plus articles from various sources (all automatic) but made them look as if they had been loaded over the last 12 months at around one a day. You just basically put in affiliate links once for example for C/Bank, Ebay, Overstocked,CJ, and it just automatically includes adverts in relation to the pages keywords on every page. I must say I have been on the internet quite a long time and am obviously aware of people who develop software but which either does not work or gets you banned, but this does look good.. Just interested to know if anyone is using it or knows of other good software that does a similar job. This one is a bit pricey ($497 I think). George must be making a nice bit of commission there but good luck to him, thats what its all about.

I don't know about his software, but the idea of creating a years worth of content in a few minutes time worries me. I can imagine two reasons that you would want to do this. One would be that you think it will give you search engine ranking in Google. The other is that you want visitors to think you actually posted all that content over the last year.

I think that uploading 300 articles in a single shot (either duplicate, spun or original) might fool visitors to your site. However, Google likely stores information in their index about when content is added and they're pretty good at matching content up with duplicate sources. I think your prospects of getting search engine traffic with a site like that are dubious.

It might be worth a try, but the near $500 price tag sounds steep for me.
