BMD or SeNuke? A Newbies Dilema

First-a thanks to everyone willing to share their expertise with newbies, all of us appreciate it!
I have been reading a lot about BookMarking Demon and SeNuke and am hoping for some comments from the pros.

Which works better? I realize that BMD is a one time cost while SE is monthly, but recommendations would be appreciated.

In advance-thanks!

Just answered this on another thread called 'bookmarking'. I have BMD and you can't use it to it's fullest capabilities because it does not feature auto-captcha. SEnuke has both autocaptcha and auto email validation, so its a no brainer, if you have the money. I am actually going to get SEnuke later today as well.

In order to give you proper guidance, I must ask you one question and that is, what are you trying to accomplish with these applications?

Good question, I probably should have put that in my post.

I have three newish websites that I am trying to build links and drive traffic to. I am doing the blogging and article gig and am looking for something more automated to help.

Both of them is totally different tool.

BMD is just a bookmarking tool, while senuke is a more advanced seo tool, it comprised of niche research, article submission to web 2.0 & article directories, social bookmarking, rss feed submission and profile linking.

    Hope this helps.

Senuke without a doubt is the best tool I have yet to see and use, although I have not used BMD, but like cheyingtan said its just one tool.

Senuke is super powerful and mostly ever backlink it generates for you is dofollow and a high PR

      hope this helps too

oh yeah btw you can test out senuke's pro version for 7 days without paying a dime.

so give it a go and then tell us what you think...

It's like comparing apples and oranges. BMD does only social bookmarking while SENUKE does a huge variety of SEO things for you.

In my opinion, it's best to skip both of these products.

Yes you get automation, but don't forget the learning curve. The learning curve exists and it's not an easy task to use these softwares to their fullest potential.

Besides, you should invest in these softwares with money you earned from your IM efforts. You feel you need to automation to succeed, but the fact is that you don't.

But, it's still your money and your call.

    Good luck.

      Thanks Saun,
Great point about investing money in the software after I have earned it through IM. I guess it is the Instant Gratification Syndrome again.

both tools are wholly different, however, I would definately recommend starting off with something like BMD or Bookmark Wiz - SENuke takes a long time to master and justify the $127 monthly membership.

If you are new to IM, using either tool (especially SE Nuke) could cause more harm than good. The last thing you want to do is get your site sandboxed by Google because you didnt use restraint when using SE Nuke and didnt learn how to space out your submissions, properly spin your content, etc.. etc.. etc..

As for me, I've been an SE Nuke user for roughly 7+ months, and recently have started to look for products that can do the same thing as SE Nuke, minus the monthly fees..

    Here are a few..

Tube Mogule (FREE) - Video Submission
RSS Bot (one time payment) RSS Submission
Automatic Article Submitter (one time payment) -- Article Submission
BMD (one time payment) -- Bookmarking
Angela Back Links ($5 bucks a month... gotta do manually, but oh well..) -- Web 2.0 Profile

As you can see, there are ways to build your own suite of tools that enable you to do roughly the same.. SE Nuke does make it a lot easier with the automation, but other than the web 2.0 profile links, all the tools are auotmated as well.

    Good luck.

If you're really a newbie, skip both tools. These tools are for seo purposes and i suggest you get a good understanding of how seo works before investing into any tool for that matter. Tools are great, but only if you know how to use them

With that aside, between senuke and bmd, senuke is a clear winner. However the monthly costs are it's downside.

For bookmarking, go for a free tool like Automated Content & Bookmark Distribution | OnlyWire which gets the social bookmarking job done. SB'ing nowdays does not increase your serp's imo. I only use it for getting a new site listed in google faster.
