How many social bookmark sites Slick Social Pro has? And how important are those social bookmarking backlinks? |

Why dont you do it manually. I think that fetches the good and long term results.

| I use both SocialBot, BookmarkWiz, ScrapeBox and pretty much anything else I want to with Linux using VirtualBox. As far as SocialBot and BookmarkWiz. BookmarkWiz BookmarkWiz gives many errors and doesn't create accounts at all the sites as advertised. I get between 50-60% successful signups. The 50-60% was achieved by doing the account creation several times. The first run was 5 successful and 12 not. You need to submit several times also as you get a lot of errors when submitting. "Error: can't submit link http://XXXXXXXXX.com to propeller.com using GXXXXXXX account: can't login. Please send c:\docume~1\user1\locals~1\temp\bookmarwiz_ayxykp to developer.. Aborting..." The first time I used this software I would estimate that it created approx 40 of these files that needed to be sent to the developer. I did create, or try to, accounts for 5 brand new email addresses and submit 2-3 times. I sent the company an email May 8th with these problems and also stated the program stopped for over 1/2 hour at 74% while submitting. I asked if they wanted my errors files. I have not received a response yet. The ping function may not work. There are many posts in their forum that point this out. I got my software to look like it is pinging, but I honestly have no idea as to how to check it out. The program gives no feedback. There is a box that changes from 0% to 100% after pinged but if you quit and restart the program, the box shows 0% again? The company doesn't answer many of the complaints in the forum and seems silent at the moment. In all honestly many of the problems look like user error. I would guess that the company is trying to tweak their software to fix the others as fast as possible. You have to manually enter any URLs that you want bookmarked. If you want to bookmark several, or all of, pages on your site you'll either have to manually enter them or create a file and import them that way. Oh wait, importing is not an option in that box. My bad. I would probably not purchase this software again at this time. I am sure they will get it working correctly. I also believe that with the bookmarking sites constantly changing this will be a never ending battle. SocialBot The funny thing about SocialBot is that it cost me more to have the accounts created than to actually purchase the program. I was excited by the shear number of sites SocialBot submits to. SocialBot claims to spider your site to get all of your pages to submit. I have a brand new recently installed blog. I have not edited anything. The "Hello World" post still shows as well as the "this is a comment" comment. As I'm typing this SB is spidering my site. It shows "Pending 4" and "Completed (445)". It's been maybe 7 minutes and found 4 urls so far. I stopped the program from spidering after approx 10 minutes. As far as submitting. I tried to pull my report but they are pretty bare. One shows successful submission to 10 sites. I ran one submission using 20 threads using the entire list. I have 777 accounts. I use 20 threads at a time so the program keeps working while I fill out captchas. I do the same thing with ArticleBot and it works great. On the one full run I did I was very surprised at how many sites gave an error. There were way more errors than there were successes. I can't give any exact numbers as the other reports are empty. With SocialBot you have to choose a page, or several pages that you want to submit. As far as I can tell all of these pages have to be from one upper domain. You can not have 2 domains and submit all the pages from both domains at the same time. Now I understand that bookmarking sites can be down often. And that bookmarking sites change their submit procedures (forms) often to stop automated submissions. I am also sure that these programs will get tweaked a lot in the future to keep up with these changes. I am sure there are people using both with great results but right now I am not impressed with either one. $.02 Steve |

Social Bookmarking Demon is the best, I like the constant upgrades and also ability to add new sites. If you want to signup I can give you my link, as well as the lists of social bookmarking sites I have found myself. It's freaking amazing once you have a refined list of sites.

Try to buy bookmarking demon. It is a great software. But personally I like doing bookmarks manually.
