It could also be worthwhile checking the Google results page for your keyword BEFORE building a site to see whether the listings on the first two pages are well-optimized - whether that keyword is appearing in the title, description, and domain listing - for that keyword.

If they are well optimized, it could take extra work trying to reach the first page because of the strength of the opposition. In which case there are many other products that are "low hanging fruit" and worthier of attention at this stage.

Even large companies can have poorly (or less well) optimized web pages. For instance, with one product, I'm listed at number three on the first page. Amazon is listed at number 4!

I was at first. however, the tech support both pre sales and after sales has been great and one of my sites that I put up on the 13th is alreafy on the front page of google for "life-size toy dog"

Obviously there is some expensis involved as you require a domain name and hosting

I dont see why not. As long as you follow the system I see no reason why it cant be sued with any affiliate program or several different ones

I am about to try woolworths for a dvd

What I ahve yet to work out is if .info domains make any difference over .com - any suggestions?

Ok, I've watched all the videos and read the PDF's. I am just now watching some of the videos again and have already registered 5 domains and done keyword research.

I've purchased a few products this year that were disappointing. This product DOES NOT disappoint. The videos are no fluff, right to the point what to do and how to do it.

I applaud the creators for putting out a product that delivers on it promise. I will be editing and creating my sites this week and have enough knowledge of what I am doing without having to seek out other resources.

Two thumbs up!!!

Mamopez,

Just because you are located in Italy, and Amazon isn't popular there, shouldn't make any difference - just target a market where there is a supplier (whether Amazon or some other merchant). For instance, if you target the UK market, join Amazon UK as an affiliate/associate so you will receive credit for the sale and will be able to provide local delivery.

I'm based on the other side of the world and sell to the US market. Consequently I joined US merchants as an affiliate to provide local distribution.

You are not tied to the Italian market.

On the the hand, you may see an opportunity to distribute there as an affiliate for large local merchants.

The techniques you will learn from the course are applicable regardless of where you are personally based. Just be sure the merchants are able to supply to those visitors to your websites who are interested in buying.

Derek,

I've been using a mixture of .info and .coms - mainly for reasons of cost as GoDaddy has been having a 99c special on .info domains. If you buy 5 or more, you get free privacy registration. Buying .info's from Namecheap costs about $3 each but privacy is included even if buying only one.

I haven't found a problem using .info for the "baby" sites - they are receiving a good listing. For the parent site I used a .com (expecting longevity) and had no problems there, as might be expected.

Be sure NOT to include the name of major companies in any domain name that you register, as Google will simply look at it and then ignore your website, no matter how appealing and how many web pages offered. For instance, avoid names like FindSonyTVs.com

Ivan, have you found any US merchants to avoid? As you know, I,m in your 'boat' so I'm seeking alternatives to Amazon to beef up my network.
What other merchants have you signed up with?
Best regards....Bill

Bill,

There are a great stack of good merchants available through agencies such as Commission Junction, ShareaSale, Revenue Loop, etc. You'll find many of the Affiliate Managers listed at this section of the Forum:

http://www.warriorforum.com/ad-netwo...onaire-makers/

However, they mainly supply to the US market. Some will have Australian distributors. With a population of 300 million in the US compared to Australia's 21 m I don't pay much attention to the Australian market as even with downloadable products Aussies account for only 6% of visitors to my websites.

Another approach is to find a product first and then search the website of the corporation and find their affiliate details. That's more useful at other times of the year, when we have more time.

A reliable distribution service is essential, as if the customer has problems with delivery we don't get paid.

Speaking of which, anyone know of any 3rd party software that would do this for you, as opposed to doing it by hand? I've been reading this thread and this product/system sounds very, very interesting.

Thanks,

This is not a great problem even without software to help. MicroNicheFinder only gives a summary and it's simpler to just go to the Google page and have a look. As you've already made a list of products you are following up, probably only about 20 at a time, so it takes only a few minutes to enter the keyword into Google for a manual inspection.

It's not like other systems, where you might have hundreds of keywords to assess.

Hey Tiffany,

This is kinda cool...

I'd completely forgotten about this thread.
About 2 weeks ago my wife found Info Product Killer in an email from Frank Heywood.
We bought it.
Very good product.
I thought the SEO stuff alone was worth it.
Also, interestingly enough, I fell on the .info domains as well. $1.99 each.

I guess Amazon's name recognition would account for the better conversion rates.

I'm sure that the quality of sales pages, credibility and upselling of Amazon are very important.

Although their commission rate is low (it increases with more sales) I find that, with my current sales conversion rate of about 12%, this largely offsets that.

Many merchants have a sales conversion of only 1-3% so Amazon are doing something right - along with a reliable delivery system and a huge number of products.

One other thing I've noticed - the large number of sales of products that I'm not promoting. Visitors that I send to the merchant from my websites will often buy an additional product or something totally different - and I still get paid.

Yeah I had my Christmas Store setup like a week ago, I was wondering if I was coming late to the party!

I'm going to watch the PPC Videos to see if there is any good information in them, but let you guys tell it...seems like there is!

Thanks for the review Tiffany!

Uh, go for it. I'm not here to bribe people. I'm here to give a review. This was a classic post! Describes what's wrong with most Internet Marketing mindsets

Also, I run one small PPC campaign for the product NOW. Didn't use to. Most of my traffic comes from my blog review.

Hey Ray, have a look at Market Samurai. It goes way, way further than just keyword research and you can get a 40 day trial. One of the big bonuses is the competition analysis tool.

All the best with it.

Oh come on Tiff, why don't you just offer ol Raj to set up his web sites for him, run some PPC at your expense, do his sales analysis and take his money to his bank for him! assuming Raj is a 'he' of course.

You really are being a bit of a scrooge there Tiffany

Eben, this concept would work in any market because it's all about good solid SEO construction. Both off page and particularly On Page SEO are explained very clearly. The returns per sale are not big so it's a matter of volume that makes the money.
I'm like you, with other projects on the go. So I'll be spending time during the year on this one.
However, I already feel that I have made a good investment because of the knowledge imparted by the creator of this program.
Hope that helps.

I'm targetting the US market with this product. I'm using his low cost PPC methods so got my first sale Day 1.

My Amazon conversion rate is around 15% .. Which is WAAAAY better than any info product I ever promoted.

I've got 10 sites up, have been doing it for 4 weeks and have made over $1,000 profit.

IPK would definately be my best purchase this year. Thanks for letting me know about it Tiffany.

Just because you get indexed does not mean you are going to get traffic. You can get indexed and be on page 5932 for your keyword where no one will find you. You have to do some SEO and link building to make it to the front page.

IPK mentions a few things you need to do after setting up your sites to get traffic. What I did was use the 1waylinks.net system to post my new site links to blogs -- They got indexed immediately by Google and traffic has started to trickle in. Of course there are other things I will need to do to increase the traffic.

I am at odds with one way IPK mentions how to get indexed by Google -- submitting it directly to the Google Add URL submission page. I've always heard it's best to get found indirectly via some link on a site already indexed by Google. Anyway, that indirect method has always worked for me.

Gary,

have a look at the discussion on this thread:

Info product killer results?

Eben,

There is alternative - and highly regarded - IPK Software that is described on Frank Haywards forum. The link to Frank's IPK forum is contained in the thread mentioned above.

Vicone and Tiffany. Great info! I have bought this product and even though I haven't had the time yet to put in a good effort, it is one of the best info products out there that I have seen. He is a good guy and always willing to help. Someone else had tried this over Nov and Dec and earned somewhere around $5000 and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of potential, even for holidays other than Christmas, if you put on your thinking cap. Highly recommended.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to IM, and this IPK looks like one of the more interesting products I've seen so far. My question is, do you think I need to purchase the upsells? The offer is $47 for templates and graphics and some other stuff (sorry I dont recall at the moment) to enable me to make money online?

Unless he has changed his offer since last year, there is a template included with the product which you can use for your domains.

Also you don't need to use expensive graphics. Get a copy of Xheader from

XHeader - download

which is free and provides 1,000 headers at no extra cost when you register.

Also, a lot of IPK followers have helped with graphics and advice at the forum on

IPK Forum

It looks as though this system has come alive again in the lead up to Christmas.

Having read all these comments, I intend to purchase this and, although I am probably too late to get things moving in time for this xmas, I can use it for other things throughout the year and it will give me a good start for next xmas!

I'd like to add my thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread, especially Vicone and Tiffany who have been very generous with their time and suggestions.

No problem Dave - I did a free WSO on how to pair IPK with Squidoo too if it helps:
FREE WSO: Extra Christmas Money Pairing Info Product Killer With Squidoo!

And it's not too late for Christmas. I'm still seeing lenses get indexed in like 2-3 days and making sales right away. But it's good for year round anyway

Hi All,

It is now Feb of 2011.
Is this something that has potential starting out this year?

Tks,

The ramblings of a newbie.

I've been using it to some extent and getting decent results. One thing I did was take the provided template amd modify it to my own requirements.

I now use the modified template for any new sites I build and am converting older sites to this new format.

For me personally, the template was worth the price associated with the product. The information it contained was kinda like an extra bonnus for me.

Respectfully,
Tim
