Ditto the previous post. Laughing Bird software is a piece of cake to use and their image sets are very good. Logo Creator is the one you want.

You might also try AAA Logo. Another very easy package to use with some very nice image effects and pre-sets.

One thing neither of the above can do is edit images to remove back-grounds (transparency). Do a search for "photo filtre". It's an image editing software which includes masking (transparency) which is very easy to use (one-click). You can remove backgrounds from images and make them transparent GIF's which you can then add to other images.

Photo Filtre is pretty simple for these kinds of operations, plus it's 100% free.

Assemble your images in Laughing Bird. It's a doddle. Totally free-hand assembly so you can get your images looking just right.

    Hope this helps

You can find cracked versions of photoshop everywhere. And that's the obvious choice

      Hi CoryGoose!

I have a easy to use graphic software called "Easy Photo Edit". See my sig below. Click the image(do not click the software box. I mean the second image) on the sales page to run the video. One other suggestion is X-header (no affiliatelink) and it is free.

      Regards!

The Laughingbird product is cool. I have it. It's bloated and has
some gimmicky features but it does make some stuff that is not
easy with regular drawing programs very easy to understand and
do. The Web Graphics Creator (Laughingbird) is not a drawing
program though. It won't make custom-sized boxes and circles
for you. It does'nt have a paing brush or an eraser - it's all for
      layering, positioning and sizing images.

For actual drawing I mostly use Paint.net - because I'm used to
it mostly, but it is free to get, loads quickly and does cooler stuff
than you would expect, once you familiar with it.
