"PC Speedup Wizard" - has anyone tried it?

Hi folks

Has anyone tried Keith Gilbert's "PC Speedup Wizard" software?

It claims to speed up the loading and running of PCs by allowing you to identify and stop some processes from loading when you boot up your PC.

I'm always cautious of anything which tampers with my computer, so I'd welcome comments from any Warrior who has tried this software.

    Just use IObits Game Booster as it does exactly what this software says it does.

    Though overall software like that isn't all that effective and more RAM is the best move more than anything.

    So IObits gamer booster or more RAM.

      Hi Ian

      You probably need to identify what is causing your computer to run slowly (if that's the problem) in the first place.

      My recommendations would be:

      * Do a virus scan on your pc's hard-drive
      * Clean all your temp files / cookies etc
      * De-frag your hard drives

      * Check your hard drive to see how much available space you have. If it's less the 25%, you will need to start backing up you files on an external drive, or get a bigger capacity hard drive.

      If you're still experiencing slow pc performance, then it may be an issue with your registry.
      There are lots of good registry solutions around, and they will allow you to control which programs boot at start up.

      Hope the above helps
