Article Submision Software. Worth it?

hey guys i was just about to buy an article submision software but thought i would ask here first weather im wasting my money. one ive looked at says it would post my article to 400 article site, but ive been reading some people saying that its pointless and it only gets flagged as duplicate content, im only trying to drive traffic to my site.

    Is the software complete automated? Do you need to do anything else besides copy and paste an article into the software? If it is completely automated, it could be worth it, also depends on which sites it submits to.

    hey mate, yeah its completely automated, just input your article and it submits it to 400 of the main services including ezine articles etc.

      There are several tools that do this. One that appears as being the best for this is Unique Article Wizard. There are others that might be cheaper but not as good.

      Which software are you thinking about buying. If you ask for specific comments on that tool you will learn more form your question.

    Whether it is worth it or not really depends on how heavy you article marketing efforts are. If you are churning out fresh articles by the hundreds monthly, then definitely, an auto submission software will save you lots of time, effort and energy. No doubt about that.

    That being said, if you are just doing a couple of articles weekly, no point wasting that kinda money even though it's less than 100( I think). Go buy yourself more beers instead.

    In my experience, 98% of the "hundreds of directories" they submit to are junk. I don't think Google even pays attention to most of those junky article sites. However, the big ones (EZine articles, Article Dashboard, etc.), when you submit articles to them manually, are very effective. I'd rather focus on a few quality manual submissions rather than using submission software.

      In my experience it's worth using an article submitter only if it's combined with an article spinner. This may be stating the obvious but the engines will penalise you heavily for duplicate content so it's worth avoiding it at all costs.

        Every one keeps saying the engines will penalize you heavily how will they penalize you when you are not submitting and duplicating the articles on your site ?
        if the articles are not unique they might not rank well on the search engines , but there is still a chance people will read them on the article directories and if you provide good content they will link back to your site still resulting in some traffic. Also if you put links in the articles and anchor them they will count as relevant backlinks thus helping your website to rank higher.( take note though do not build backlinks too fast if your site has been up for a while with little or no links this you can get penalized for )

        My advice is submit Unique original content to the big article directories like e-zine, article dashboard and articlebase.For the other minor sites you can submit using an auto submitter . If your article provides value people will click on your links .

            Depends on your goals.

            1. Actual readers? - No, not worth it because most of these directories will
            provide you with very few real readers.

            2. Backlinks? - Could be worth it depending on the quality of the sites you're
            submitting to. Not every submitter submits to the same sites. Some are
            better than others as far as site(s) quality.

            Test for yourself. Your mileage may vary.

              Quite honestly, I've tried both submiting articles to the top 10 directories and submiting them to 100s of directories via a spinner. There is no competition the spinners just give you a much bigger jump in the rankings. At least from personal experience.

    About submitting the exact same article to hundreds
    of article directories... it's TRUE, there's no penalty from
    google for this, but the truth is that if all the hundreds
    of article directories publish the exact same article,
    google WILL NOT "count" all of them, especially count
    the backlinks from all of them.

    So, I highly recommend and prefer and article
    submitter that comes with an article spinner that
    allows you to spin and submit the different versions to
    the hundreds of article directories.

    By the way, I have tried submitting the EXACT
    same article to hundreds of article directories and
    also tried submitting spun versions to the hundreds
    of article directories - the latter worked for me more,

    One thing you have to consider is you can get traffic without google although they are the largest search engine people go to these article directories to read articles and if your articles on these directories sends people to your website or affiliate link that has to be a bonus. Also if google does not count them as back links this does not mean yahoo and bing will not Google controls about 65% of the search market while that is a lot of traffic most marketers often ignore the other 35% a majority of whats left is controlled by yahoo and bing and in my experience yahoo counts practically every back link im not too sure about bing if you can spin one article and submitt to hundreds of article sites in less than ten mins and it helps with your ranking on yahoo then that is also a bonus.

    If you have a lot of articles, it may be helpful to use an article submitter however it will only be a few articles, then go ahead and do it manually. It may be a bit tedious though but you could also have someone to do it for you(if you like). The important thing is you have a good list of directories to submit to. The better the quality of the directory is, the higher possibility of you getting traffic to your site.

      I think the best two article marketing sofware submitters online are;

      1. Submit Your Article.com (Web based)
      2. Article Post Robot (Desktop based)
