Well at the risk of sounding like a broken record.
Market Samurai is IMHO the best investment you can make, the support is great and MS gets updated constantly so that you are always getting keyword results that are relevant and accurate.

    Cheers

Market Samurai in my opinion, I've not seen any other tool that gives you as much options for how you want to organize your affiliate campaigns. And also explains them as well. Support is incredible and the dojo training is top notch.

MS is good but it still has some quirks. It gets REALLY slow once you want to analyze a lot of keywords. Try shoving 2000+ keywords in there to analyze...l

    that is really a feauture where MS should work on it more; I guess it is slow cause of AIR platform;

i ve constantly to filter out 20 000 kwrds and it takes me more days; I take only 1000 per one round and still need to click analyze 3 times to get all the numbers in sheet ,

but as stated above best tool on market

I use a combination of the paid versions of Traffic Travis and Market Samurai both. But you could easily use the free versions of both to handle all your keyword research. What I do is use TT to uncover my initial list of keywords. Then I run the keywords with MS to get the exact search counts for the keywords. The ones that pass the criteria I'm looking for I take back to TT and do an SEO analysis on it to see what the top 20 sites ranking for it are all about.

I'm always looking for more knowledge. May I ask what is the advantage of using TT to do SeoAnayl instead of the Seo Competition (PR anayl, Anchortxt anayl, etc.)in MS? Just curious if I missing out on some good cheese, no what I mean?

Yeah, I've always used the Google Keyword tool. There's a few others like SEO automatic's. I've never heard of Market Samurai. I have heard that Scribe SEO is a complete waste of money.

Definately agree that MS is fantastic, but remember it is basically harvesting the keywords from google keyword tool. It's good if you can utilise other methods to find keywords that are not reliant on this one method.

Also, expect to see a lot more positive reviews of MS in a couple of days, when their long awaited affiliate program launches! I can see a lot of sig updates!

Keyword Elite is good to make huge keywordlists, and very important KE uses the other searchengines as well!

But I also like Micro Niche Finder, for the ease of use, especially SOC.

Market Samurai is fantastic, of course.

Keyword research is the most important job of internet marketing, if you don't get that right, well... so be prepared to invest some in good tools.

I found Keyword Country vastly superior to Market Samurai, it is more expensive but it is an investment that pays for itself over time.

I had used Keyword Country before Market Samurai as I was researching keyword software myself and I must say Market Samurai felt like a giant step back.

Nothing wrong with Google Keyword tool, it's FREE and everyone really only cares what google users are searching for!

For Paid: Market Samurai and Micro Niche Finder.

Free: Google Insights, Google Keyword Tool External, and Search Based Keyword Tool (found in KTE).

These are what I use on a regular basis for market/keyword research, and competitive analysis.

Traffic Travis is also great, I use it myself. The free version of it has some limits, but it's still very useful. It's somewhat similar to Market Samurai and has various SEO and PPC tools as well

And, of course, Google's external keyword tool

Traffic Travis, Google Wonderwheel and Google Keyword tool are all very respectable ways to get great keywords. I happen to use and love MNF, it suits my needs well. The marketers I follow tend to use it as well, so it is easy to understand their training materials when I am using the same tools. (Two that I can think of right off who use and recommend MNF are PotPie Girl and Marlon Sanders.)

Each tool does a little something different, so a lot depends on what you are doing. If you are building authority sites or a small number of sites, then TT and Google KW are perfect for starting out. MNF is great if you are doing a lot of minisites. When I am on a domain buying spree I may buy 20-30 domains in a day, so MNF helps me locate them. This is great for Sniper Sites and other niche minisites.

If you are building an authority-type site, then the Wonderwheel is an amazing tool. If you are focusing on one site and one niche, use the Wonderwheel to help you design a silo site (Google this, very powerful and no ebook required). (Yes, you can silo a Wordpress site without any paid plugins).

Favorite free online keyword tool: SEOBook

Favorite paid desktop keyword tools: Market Samurai and Keyword Sniper Pro. Used to use Trafffic Travis Professional and Micro Niche Finder as well, but I'm using them less and less these days. In fact I don't think I've used either in the past week.

Best paid online: I'm currently testing a service that has been recently made available to the public, but I can't offer a first hand yea or nay yet so I won't name it yet.

However, I have used Nichebot in the past and found it okay (just not worth the monthly fee they ask). I can get the same (if not better results) using MS and KSP for one time fees.
