Big Mike's Article Bot vs Brad Callen's Article Submitter

Hi guys,

Can some one provide some information on this - which of these two products fares better in terms of number of directories it can successfully submit to, quality of directories etc?

I'm basically looking for an automated solution to build backlinks to my website, in an as hands free manner as possible.

Or would some other software be better for this? Please share your experiences!

I basically live by Article Bot, especially for the price. I've had no submission problems with it. Also, doesn't Callen's have a monthly fee? If i remember correctly, AS's monthly fee was higher than Article Bot's price... Just my 2 yen.

      Thanks Sean

I too am leaning towards Articlebot - there is a huge price difference after all!
As long as it does what it says (which is what I wanted to confirm), it becomes the obvious choice

ArticleBot has badly needed an update for a long time. The service after the sale is weak. the worst part is you cannot copy and paste your articles into articlebot anymore...makes no sense.

        +1

I've copied and pasted into Article Bot every day for the last 4 days or so.

I'm not familiar with the other software mentioned, but will chime in with a vote for Big Mike's Article Bot.

Can you share how you did it because i am having the same problem not being able to copy paste my article and resource box etc. Although i did see the options tab but it states it is a random rotate feature. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Put the mouse cursor in the appropriate box and ctrl-v to paste and ctrl-c to copy. There isn't any right mouse click action going on so keyboard shortcuts are the only option.

articlebot all the way for me. The best bit about this bot is you can add new directories unlike most of the rest. Here's a link to article dashboard directories if you've got it

I've been a reseller for Big Mikes product and put it in my traffic software site and I really like it especially articlebot. You'll just have to update it when there's a new update. It now has 355 article directories in it because dead sites has been removed. I'm really happy with it that is why I even created a service to create articlebot accounts since creating accounts is too tiring or much I say time consuming but fruitful when you've done it because of the benefits yo could get when you use it.

I love it as well but I don't see 355 directories, I have 219 after going through and deleting dead ones.

I went through a good sized sampling of my accounts and discovered that a good amount of them have not had one article reviewed let alone posted. Are we submitting to dead article directories?

Have had this for 2 weeks and have been submitting just about every day. Am i wasting my time?

Hey Marc, any status updates on your article submitting progress?

Are they actually a ton of dead directories?

Also does this software let you submit articles in spun format too?

You can put your spintax text right in the program and it spins for you. I haven't checked the article submissions lately so I can't say anything on that.

    Hello,

I have used ArticleBot a few times and it seems good. I don't know anything about the other program mentioned.

Recently, 8-28-10, I decided to do a test. I have read where many people just use the top article directories and manually submit. It has to do with the links being worth more and all.

Well I ran a small test with SocialBot so I thought maybe I should run a test with ArticleBot to see if it was really working as well as I assumed.

I posted an article using AB on 8-28-10. I included a phrase in the article so I could search with quotes, and easily find my articles. I searched the phrase in quotes before posting the article, and it returned no results.

Within 20 minutes of posting using ArticleBot I ran the search and I had my first backlink, or pair. I was very pleased. The next day I had 3. The next day I had 5 articles, or 10 backlinks.

Then the next day I only got 3 results. The other two disappeared. Maybe they were still counted and good. I have no clue.

Today I only have 2 articles found by G@@gle. Now I hope I will get more in the next week or two. I doubt it's done.

I rewrote the article and submitted it to
GoArticles on the 25th. 39 views.
EzineArticles on the 31st. 4 views.
Buzzle on the 27th. 74 views.

I bought Automatic Article Submitter some time ago and am going to give it a try. It is supposed to only submit to the better directories. I will give that a try in the next few days. I will write another article with a phrase that the big G can't locate, then I'll track it.

So far I am happier with the results of my articles on the better directories. I understand that if AB gets a bunch of articles out there, the links will be good. But they will all be pretty much PR0 links.

I have checked my traffic referrals and I always see EzineArticles there. I just started using the others so I'll be able to see them soon too.

Anyway I just thought some of you may be interested.

    Steve

    Hi, guys
I haven't got a handle on this article submission software yet. How do you get around the problem of content duplication? The article directories don't like it, and the Big G doesn't like it.

It's pretty easy. ArticleBot has a built in spinner. The other program I have also has a spinner.

A lot of people don't agree there is a duplicate content penalty. I like Andrew Hansen's answer the best. As long as the duplicate content isn't on your web page, who cares?

I'm a huge fan of Incansoft (Big Mike) bots. I can't say anything about Article Submitter since I haven't used it. But ArticleBot is awesome. I use it all the time. The only issue I have, and this might not be something a bot can do easily, is that the links go away when the directories put the article up. They get turned into plain text. For some of the bigger directories, like GoArticles and Content Caboodle, I go in after-the-fact and add the links back in. Other than that though, I don't know of a faster way to get my articles to nearly 200 directories in just minutes.
