I don't know if there is ONE software that does it all.

There's article submission software, RSS feed submission software, social bookmarking software.

I don't know if it's a good idea to automate everything as some things need a human touch (like blog and forum commenting).

So a mix of softwares (or just one if there is one that is all in one type) and some outsourcing may be the way to ramp things up without you having to personally do every little thing.

I would only use software for article and rss submission, the rest you should hire someone to do.

I'm not sure if there's a linkbuilding tool but I would also suggest that you do it manually. You could outsource those tasks and still get to do the other work yourself.

Great post. I've got someone working for me building links and I know he can do it faster.

I've used Senuke, Man this little baby ROCKS. But when you outsource, I'm not sure its the best option.

Viral Submitter looks like its the go I recon (Aussie accent coming out hehe)

I agree, it's all about natural, in the eyes of the big G (Googs). Nothing bets AWESOME Content with a little automation to save time. Like anything you best master it, before trying to automate.

Use any type of automated software and you'll be sacrificing a lot of quality. Sure it'll save you time, but you'll have that lingering thought in the back of your head asking... is this even doing anything?

So I'd have to say the best software you can use is your brain. Start a blog in your niche and go crazy with guest-posting to other blogs. Not only will you build a huge following this way, but your links will be worth 10x more than submitting your sites to hundreds of directories that might not all be indexed (or even worse, be in good-standing with Google).

You can also do article marketing and forum marketing, but you'll have to make it a continuous effort... same with blog commenting.

    Hope that helps!

I really am not a fan of automated stuff. If I do use them it would be done after much thought and I have some control over the whole process. Many people seems to be doing it but I'm still not so comfortable with it as of now.

Well, I set a lot of linkbuilding myself with my outsourced team and they mostly do it manually for me (blog commenting, forum commenting, social bookmarking) while when uploading/submitting of articles, we use software called Viral Submitter by Jeffrey Schwerdt which is so simple to use as well for your Press Release submissions, videos and podcasts.

I have had a lot of success with automated link building tools, especially tools by Jonathan Leger(3waylinks, mywaylinks). Also, I recently started testing Josh Spaulding's directory submitter(Deep linker pro) and it's doing a wonderful job.

The best kind of link building is one that offers diversity, but there's nothing wrong with using quality tools for automation.

      All the best,

I wouldn't recommend automating link building. It's not just about links, it's your whole online business identity you should be concerned about -- and you wouldn't want to be associated with shady/spammy software.

I use RSSBot for RSS submissions, just started using Automated Article Submitter so I don't have feedback for you yet. Also, I've been using sick submitter for profile links, although I havent used it in over a month since I've been putting other systems in place. It's a service so you'll pay like $12 - 15 a month and they have packets that come out each month.

The interface is always being worked on and its a stable system. Unlike other linkwheel type software that's been hyped up and doesn't work.

Overall, I've found that a variety of links is best for overall rankings. That's why I don't just focus on backlinks from one strategy.

Unlike others, I do like automated tools because of the amount of work I can get done in a shorter time. Also because it allows me to have more free time.

The software that I use to generate tons of back links is Market Samurai. Market Samurai has a unique way that I use to create back links. My process is create my keyword list in MS and then open each keyword in a separate tab and think use the "Promotion" option within the software. The software then searches for several types of website formats, depending on what I tick, I mainly go for blogs but it searches blogs, social sites, and forums. Now I go with blogs because blogs usually allow pingbacks. The software find blogs related to your keyword and displays the results and tells me if it's a dofollow or not and also if pingbacks are allowed.

I then sort through the results for the sites that allow pingbacks and select the ones that best match my content. This will create a list which you just copy and then paste it within a page on your site, say like an articles page. This will send a ping to their site and when they accept the ping you'll get a pingback which essentially is a link on their site to yours showing that the article appears on your site.

This really only works with blog type setups but it works well with a little creativity. The only warning about this method is not to build links to fast. You can create a monster amount of links in a very short period of time which doesn't really benefit you to the max

    In no particular order:

    1. ALL article syndication networks (i.e seolinkvine.com, myarticlenetwork.com, articleranks.com etc)

    2. Link networks such as linkvana.com

    3. SENuke for mass submissions

    4. SEO Elite to find super high authority sites to "manually" contact to strike deals (this can be, by far, the most powerful, but also takes effort)

    That's it in a nutshell

I can't say which is 'best', but I can say that none of it is any good. Links from directories like at at worthless - they don't get visitors so you don't get direct traffic from them, and search engines don't like link farms, so you don't get boosted up the search ranks with them.

Why is everybody so "afraid" of automation and seem to think of it like spammy. You can do it spammy if you like or you can do it the right way.

For example take SeNuke, use the social network nuke and instead of creating 1 off pages, post multiple times on the same page, and you can post quality content, nobody says that you have to buy PLR and re-write it so that its barely readable and then plaster it all over the place.

Just do manual for blog comments, forums and the likes and for video, content, rss feeds and w/e use a software and you can outsource that too if you want.

Jonathan, Jonathan, Jonathan - please tell me how you can tell the difference between an automated submission and a manual one? Same article, same comments, same backlink - except you manually submitted yours and I, (using my brain...) submitted mine's using software.

P.S. I have no lingering thoughts because I can monitor the progress of my link campaigns using Market Samurai, which means I don't have to spend hours tracking multiple domains and thousands of URLs.

Jeff, there are all kinds of software designed to accomplish certain tasks. For example.

(a). I use Digixmas to submit to directories

(b). I use BMD for social bookmarking

(c). I use Sick Marketing for profiles

(d). I use Tuelz by Kurt Melvin to build a crazy network you wouldn't believe it if I told you.

(e). I also use Scrapebox, BIE, SEOLD and well uhm Xrum... you get the point..

(f). I do use a number of tools to submit articles but I'm turning that over to VAs 100% by Sept - Oct.

      Same thing I thought...

We have people that are against software that would do nothing but make their lives easier... and their reasoning for taking such a stance is because they believe you are sacrificing quality. Or they believe Google is going to get you. Wake up people!

There is a MAJOR difference between a professional IMer and person who is just trying their hands at IM.

A professional IMer has tools of the trade he or she uses to advance their business. Amazingly, I find that I keep having to remind people of a statement made by fellow Warrior Kurt Melvin. Here it is and hopefully you will grasp and comprehend the message Kurt is conveying.

WARNING: If you're not willing to learn the skills and techniques needed to become a REAL top level SEOer...Then be prepared to compete against us!

If you are not using the tools, strategies and tactics used by professional IMers, do you really think you stand a chance to compete against them/us? Really?

Translated, if your mentality is to continue doing things manually, your site(s) may eventually be drowned out by the automated blitz of proferssional Internet Marketers who use Automated Tools, Virtual Assistants and Tactics and Strategies that will make your, "Do it manually philosophy" look like an 8-Track Tape in a 1970 Cadillac Coupe De Ville...

On that note, I'm off to check my automated runs for the night.

No offense to some but saying that manual is better than automation is just showing that you are well...a noob...

If you've been in IM for a certain amount of time, you'll appreciate these "automation tools". Sure you might do things manually when you have a site or two, but what happens when you have alot? You wanna build links manually to all your sites? don't think so...

So think again before you say manual is better than automation, cause it's clearly not when you know IM...

      I use SENUKE
      EVO
      Content Buzz

      And I build links manually.

I think it is important to blend your links and do some by hand.

But if you are telling me to build 5999 backlinks manually, forget it, I will most likely throw my laptop OUT THE WINDOW long before I can complete such a task.

Automation when used correctly can be very effective. SENUKE is by far the best program on the internet to do this.

You can look at it this way. If you were to hire someone full time to do what SENUKE does, you would pay 5 to 10 times the monthly amount to get the work done that SENuke does in about 1 hour.

This allows you to focus on creating excellent content instead of all the freaking time submitting to 10 bazillion places...

But some accounts are good to maintain manually, like squidoo, hubpages and some other key sights that can be used as buffer sites to your main site...

Scrapebox? Humm...need to take a look

Sorry but there is no reason whatsoever to pay someone to build $300 to $400 to build backlinks full time. Trust me on this that is a waste of money that could be going somewhere else I have over 80 websites and I still don't need to pay someone that much too build backlinks for them.

It is called Outsourcing my friend seriously PM me and I will give you the contacts of a guy who will build you some backlinks and he is very inexpensive. There was another Warrior Forum member who I referred to him and she said that with just a 100 of his backlinks she was able to get 4 out 6 of her sites ranked on the first page and that was just within 30 days of her using him.

She also said before she had bought 3,000 backlinks for those same sites and wasn't able to make the first page so who you use makes a huge difference in making it too the first page of Google. Now making the first page of Bing you will have to do your backlinks differently here is a very good article on how to do that by Jon Leger: How To Rank In Bing « Jonathan Leger

I honestly don't consider automatic link submission as it may not give you good results. I read some articles before that it is always best to do it manually. Aside from time, is there any advantage of automated link submission? Aren't you get banned or something by using this method?

Obviously you haven't read this thread properly because if you did you would have noticed some big time marketers, affiliates who basically have said if you don't automate you get left behind and it's completely true

While you are surfing around the internet wasting time looking for that perfect link other people have spent 5 minutes setting up some form of software and just gone out and got a few hundred links and the difference between the links, one automated and one manual......I know which one I prefer.......

I don't understand why people think that by using software you automatically you have to sacrifice on quality. The software is just a tool, it just magnifies what you are already doing. Like senuke x, you could automatically spin your articles and just put out 100% trash and try to submit it to every site, but you'll have horrible success rate and not get anything excepted. Or you can put out quality and do have it accepted. It's just a time saver by not having to do the redundant task, over and over again.
Honestly the quality vs quanity, you need both, you need to diversify your links and make them look as natural as possible. Brand new sites with nothing but do follow backlinks will move up quick, and drop just as quick because it doesn't look natural.

    ANYWAYS, here's my list

    Senuke X

There is a very cool new piece of software called Backlinktopia which automatically converts your articles into pdf files (which will have a link pointing back to your website with the anchor text that you specify) and submits them to document sharing websites.

Not everyone uses this underground method and the backlinks coming from these sites are powerful. There is a video on my blog on which Brad Gosse actually shows you how the software works. Take a look :
