Anyone use MikeGsMegaMailDeal.com? - 200,000 emails per month - is it worth it?

I keep getting marketing e-mails from Mike G - an internet marketer who says he'll send out 1,000,000 solo ad emails for $350. Or he'll do 200,000 per month for $50/month.

He claims they are all double opt-in and legal... I have no list to speak of and this sounds "too good to be true" for me.

Has anyone here used this service? What was your experience? Does it tend to convert? Or should I just opt-out of his list?

Just wondering if the "Mega Mail Deal" is worth my time and money. Thank you!!

If I had a list of 1 million people who actually double opted-in, it would be worth a hell of a lot more than $350 to mail an ad to all of them. I'd add a couple of zeros to that and it would still be a bargain (assuming again that these were 1 million targeted people who actually did want to be on my list).

No kidding, Ken! It'd be worth a LOT more. Thanks for slapping some sense into me. It's the "too good to be true syndrome".

If anyone's actually used this service, I'd love to know what the results were - I'm guessing a 0.0001% conversion rate - which would mean 1 single sale out of a million non-targeted emails.

I paid $160 for a solo ad email blast once to 1.3 million subscribers to various ezine websites (it was an all-in-one service).

Result? I got only 2 new optin leads after 4 weeks.

Would take one hell of a sales funnel to make that profitable LOL

I'd stay away as I've tested this and got less than 10 optins - I have also tried advertising with his banner ad offer in the past - I got hits but it was all junk traffic. So it is "too good to be true" if ya ask me!

MikeG has been around for years, and I have NEVER liked his approach, his prices, or his products. Why? Because NONE of them worked. All hype and np substance makes MG a very dull boy indeed. The guys knows how to make money alright-for himself.
