Im not sure about the .com. When I bought it, it was supossed to be a magazine every month. They know what they are doing but I didn't like all the upsells and constant emails from them. I don't think it is a waste of money or anything but after buying their stuff and Firestorm SEO I would say Firestorm SEO is a better buy and the price was better. Firestorm SEO has a monthly membership thing also if you want that type of support but I havent joined the inner circle and probably never will.

I have bought alot of stuff and think you will have no problem putting up a site and getting traffic with Firestorm. He shows you how to do the research, put up a website with wordpress and how to build the links to get the trafic. Probably the best program I bought so far.

    Hope this helps

I had a client who had taken one their seminars a couple years back. He loved the info and the ideas. It was a gap between hearing the ideas and activating them. It was a lot of strong marketing strategy with online focus. Much of that focus was about affiliate marketing which StomperNet has used successfully.

So, if you can execute the training, it may be worth it. Good luck...

I'm a stompernet member and I think it is well worth the fee.

You know your getting the best possible content from the best possible people in the business. And the people in the forums are second to none.
I usually have answers to my questions in a matter of minutes and they usually come from really experienced admins and fellow members that have been there and done that.

They produce 3-4 weekly webinars all packed with the latest tips and tricks on a wide range of subjects.

They have enough videos to watch to keep you business for the rest of the year.

Then there are the tools that you get. StomperStorm in particular is a Multivariant Testing suite that I'm just getting to grips with and belive it will help me save and make a great deal more money in the future.

Cancel all your other stuff and take the plunge.

I agree with Adam. I have tried a few other things and I actually have cancelled just about everything else and took the plunge with stompernet. The tools and resources are incredible. Seriously if you want to build a business it has the tools that you need to make it happen.

They have fallen off a lot since their rather nasty management break up...

The info is solid, but if your anything past a newbie, you may find yourself pretty board as the info is pretty common sense if you've been doing any IMKT for awhile.

I have 3 dvds and in the site you will find all kinds of people talking about SEO.From newbie level to advanced. I didn't like it because it wasn't something I didn't know. For that price it should be better.

I joined stompernet at the start of the big 999 launch and my experience with them was so bad it put me off IM for a while.

At that time there was $20,000 worth of bonuses that were promised. Less than 5% were ever actually delivered. Our details, phone numbers, emails, addresses were passed on to dozens of marketers after we had been promised this wouldn't happen.

There was also supposed to be a quick start course called incubator I think. This turned out to be absolute garbage. After some of the videos I questioned some of them about the content, it became quite clear that half of them didn't actually do what they were teaching. On some of those videos you had maybe 10 - 15 people asking for more detail, those requests were ignored every time.

Most of the tools that were promised were not working yet in the 2 months I was there. I was stupid enough to believe them when they told me that everything that was promised would happen in the second month. I found out later that this was a trick to get me past the refund period.

They also offered mastermind sessions with a so called expert in your chosen field. We were told that if we filled in these long forms about what stage we were at and what we wanted to do, we would be put in a group with other members who had the same goals.

When the sessions started, a month late btw, it turned out that the people in my group were at completely different places. Some wanted to do e commerce, some wanted to do affiliate marketing, some wanted to sell info products.

The difference was so great that one minute you would have someone explaining how they had just developed and launched their new product, then someone would say "sorry to interrupt but what is a keyword?"

Whenever I tried to ask my mastermind leader any questions, he would just say "I'm a dumb southerner, I don't know anything about that hahahaha". OK, that really helps a newbie.

Every time I tried to raise these issues in the forum calmly and politely, my posts were deleted. This was also happening to other members, you would see a post that wasn't praising stompernet and 2 minutes later it would be gone. So I sent a PM to the guy who was deleting my posts and he told me that feedback was not allowed and I should contact support. I explained that I had tried that many times and that Ross Goldberg had asked people to leave feedback in the forums.

As for the content, some of it was good although most of it was really old. We were promised before the launch that we would get access to "the same great content" as the old Stompernet. This of course turned out not to be true. If you wanted any of their recent material, you had to pay extra for it. Most of the content we were left with was the 3-4 year old stuff that had been done while Andy Jenkins was there.

Just one last thing, when I spoke to customer services when I canceled, I was actually told "just because it's on the sales page doesn't mean you will actually get it when you join".

That should give you some idea of how much they value honesty and their customers.

        Sorry for the long post

$900 a month?! They are very good and authorities in the IM industry, but you could probably learn most of the same things on the Warrior Forum for a lot less or even free.

I was in StomperNet very early on, and there was tremendous value (even at $900 per month) with access to guys like Dan/Leslie, Jerry West, etc. Made the trip to Atlanta for the annual get-together twice. Had the same energy/feel as the early PubCons.

Thought about getting in again, "stomperstorm" multivariate testing seemed too cool to pass up, but it failed to deliver anywhere near when it was supposed to be available and I bailed. in that brief time, it became clear they were re-positioning to become a white label partner / lead gen machine for "partners" in the industry.

Since I've been a member here in the Warrior Forum, I've seen tons more value that you could get from StomperNet. If you took that $197 each month and used it towards WSO's and services that interest you, you'd come out WAY ahead.

Just my opinion and .5 cents (2 cents, adjusted for the coming inflation)

In regards to being a lead gen machine, I think Andy was more the guy that was pushing extreme value for the members. He said that he didn't like to recommend other IM products to his list cause he felt guilty. He said that him and brad had disagreements over whether they should actually market to their Stmpernet list.

It's kinda too bad what happened to stompernet. They had such a collection of talent in one spot with UNREAL info and it just kinda crumbled.

It was actually $797, but still the best money I ever spent. It obviously only made sense if you were at the point with your business where you could make the necessary tweaks and have it result in big changes in income.

Brad and Andy didn't have an argument and breakup did they? Gosh, that would be almost as heartbreaking as the Kate and Jon split-up.

I dealt with StomperNet maybe three years ago. They were offering a $1 month-long trial. Something like StomperNet-lite. I continued past the 1 month point, but cancelled two or three months later. There was lots of valuable info, but it wasn't exactly the "we'll lead you step-by-step" approach that had been advertised (and which I needed at the time).

Someone above commented that they will provide enough videos to keep you busy for a year.... that to me is a negative. I can't afford to spend months watching videos!

But I think there is a fair chance that the reasons I left could be issues that have gotten fixed since then.

I saw a bit of their material in the past. Good info but vastly overpriced, as with most things in IM (keyword being INTERNET) you can find 99% of the info everywhere and for free.

This is an old post, but I'll just add my 2-cents. Stompernet was at it's finest from Oct 2006 until early 2007. They had really REALLY good seminars where the speakers just gave great content. All of it was recorded and sent out to members on DVD's. They had recorded Q&A sessions where people could post questions and the Faculty would answer it and then post the MP3.

Around mid 2007, they started changing how they did that. They stopped doing regular seminars and did more site reviews and secret roundtables at their Stompernet Live seminars. The problem was it's EXTREMELY boring to see them critique someone else's website. And they stopped taping the roundtables, I guess because the speakers could just let everything go. Personally, I think this was just a cheaper way for them to put on a conference and without having to have the speakers really come up with much content.

Also, they stopped the Q&A calls and started doing office hours. So no more taping...you just called in. Which kinda sucked because you could really benefit from other people's questions, but you don't necessarily want to have to listen LIVE.

I did rejoin the new stompernet around the last launch, but didn't stick around long. Andy Jenkins was more of the heart/soul of stompernet, in my view. Brad was the type of guy that seemed to have good intentions, but never really followed through. Actually, he pretty much admitted that in a seminar. He said that he's the type that pushes something down a hill and Andy is the type that gets in and drives it.

If it wasn't for these bad reviews, I would have joined immediately.

Not only is their copywriting really good, their offer is too. They just 'tell it like it is' in their salesletter, and all those services and information for just 197/month - can't find a better deal anywhere else.

Though after reading about the bad management of the business and that the main guys behind Stomper have left the business, I won´t be joining after all.

I would actually join just to check out old content, then just decide if it's worthwhile to stick around. I'm giving it a bad review, but that's compared to before. And the cost now is 25% of what it was then, so I'm sure a lot of people like that better.

Stompernet events used to be really good, and those are still available so that would be cool to checkout. They had some presentations from leslie rohde, dan thies, rich schefren, john reese, founder of priceline.com, founder of hackersafe.com, etc. that were really good.

The calliber of the faculty has definitely gone down, but I'm sure there is still value there. And if you want to learn E-commerce, then it's really still the only game in town.

But you could also checkout SEOBraintrust.com if you want to learn SEO.
