The Immediate Edge - review please

The Immediate Edge course seems to be the big brother of the 30DC (I'm a newbie so I'm doing the 30DC) and it's $97mo that's quite a bit of cash.

As I'm doing the 30DC I was offered a $1 seven day trial so I took it and downloaded as much of the training a I could, it seems quite good however I don't have the experience to properly evaluate it.

If you have used the course could you please post a review/evaluation?

Bottom line is "The Immediate Edge" worth the high $ cost?????

Thanks for your help. Aamcle

I've been a member a couple of times and both times quit because of the price. That being said, the content was good and very leading edge.

For a newbie, I'd advise passing on it. If you're tempted, try it out for a month. As I recall you get access to a lot of "back issues" so you will learn a lot.

I was a member when I was in my newbie stages and it was very good information that was always 3-6 months ahead of the masses. They were one of the first places that I saw that touted social bookmarking which caught on 5-6 months after they had said it.

The problem was acting on the information was a bit difficult because I didn't have the experience to go with the techniques, nor the technical know how.

If you're an intermediate to advanced marketer it's probably worth it, but if you're a newbie I would stick with a different membership program.

That said I think I'm going to be rejoining.

Thanks Gents, as a temporary member I had the option to download the training material and I took it.

I'll read it to supplement the 30DC

Of course, it's often worth joining a membership site for a month just to read through the back catalogue ;-)

Dan Raine certainly has some interesting things to say. However, I also opted out after a couple of months because I didn't think I was getting value for money.

IE contains the 30DCPlus (which sells in its own right for $27 pm) and other activities for $97 pm. In effect, that values the other activities at $70 pm. In the period I was there, I didn't see enough fresh content to justify this.

I've never run a membership site myself because of this continual pressure to come up with new content. I've read that the average subscription to a membership site is only 3 months. I can see why.

The Immediate Edge is definitely cutting edge stuff, I too found it was way beyond my capabilities and I couldn't maximize the investment I was putting in. I've done the 30DC for the last 3 years with the sole purpose of getting just some of their insight. I've also bought Dan Raine's plugins which are not cheap. Those guys really are ahead of the crowd and I guess being a step ahead comes at a price. Ultimately, it is about deciding whether the price is worth it to you.

Was just looking at this program and wanted to see if anybody else has any feedback on this membership. Any improvements since these few reviews above were made a year ago. Thanks.

I was also a member there for a few months, but canceled because i did not feel I was advanced enough at the time to act on the info they provided. The info is indeed good but if you are just getting started it is easy to get in over your head.
