Best Free or Paid softwares to make Video Tutorials

Hi,

Now a days, it's very much common that most of the IM products come out with Video tutorials for easy and comfortable user experience. Recently I watched a webinar of Anik Singal which was of almost 1:30 hours duration the file size is only 300 MB. The video quality is superb with full screen view.

can anyone suggest or recommend a program/software that can be used to make such quality video tutorials. And of course, don't forget to mention the format settings details like:

File format
Screen Resolution
Audio/Video Codec
Compression Rate
Video frame etc.

I'll better wait for another day ..... then I'll delete this thread ...... it hurts me.....

I saw lots of threads with lots of garbage posts, they caught users' attention ... this thread may be a nut itself .... so, why's to stay?

free to download and the user forum on yahoo seems to be very technically adept and comprehensive.

you'll have to search for it yourself. it is free open source ware and for somereason I can't find my link, i think it might be a dot com.
