Default What Do You Think Of "Killer Sales Videos"?

Hey Warriors

If you don't already know what killer sales videos does, please search it up on Google. I am in no way promoting or demoting this product.

I just want an honest opinion.

Check out the demo video first.

To be completely honest with you, I am on the fence with this one. I mean come on, your using a MOVIE production style type of advertisement - most likely for an internet marketing product.

I personally find it overkill, and a little bit tacky/hypey..

But I want a general opinion on this one

Those videos would certainly give your website/product a professional look and feel.

It may not work in every case but all you can do is test it.

You're "on the fence"??? No you're not. You state your position quite clearly - "I personally find it overkill, and a little bit tacky/hypey." Personally I get nothing but positive comments on the Killer Sales Videos that Chris Willow has made for me and my clients. He's a class act. And they just blow YouTube or Animoto rubbish out of the water. Professional paid HD videos show your client you're serious about your business.

I am on the fence because I don't love them or hate them. I am prepared to use them depending on what the general population thinks of them.

But that was a good insight. Yes it does blow all those crappy youtube marketing videos out of the water, and I imagine even good pitches are getting whooped by them...

I guess it must be me lol, using a super cool movie style intro for an IM product. Whatever works I guess!

Edit: I hadn't been on the site for a while. I just checked out the new templates.. They actually aren't as hypey as I remember them. I guess it was just my opinion of the first one.

They actually look incredible. No disrespect to the author!

Chris may be a fine gentleman, but I tend to agree with the doubts of the OP. There is NO doubt there is great production value involved with these templates, but I too feel these skills are more for movie-trailer type production, rather than internet conversions.

I do NOT believe they are the future of video, as claimed on the website, nor are they revolutionary. Such productions have been around since Adobe introduced After Effects.

In fact, whenever I see one of these I get a little ho-hummed because the quality of the production usually has nothing to do with the quality of what it is selling/converting. They make me doubt the owner first, if anything. If you remember how effective the Video Boss series was, you might also remember that it was ANDY himself who made the conversion, and as awesome as those videos were, there was NONE of this movie trailer stuff going on.

I prefer a VERY short intro, and then a REAL person explaining what he/she wants me to do and why. A series of high quality graphic and sound effects just convinces me the owner bought a video template. Anyone can do that now, but not everyone can be up front and sound convincing and honest in a video.

JMO, but that's what I want to see in a video, not overkill effects.

Yes this is the type if information I was looking for.

When I was checking out the less "hypey" templates, I thought that they may actually make a great addition. They look elegant as well as professional. The "Dark" and "Launch" templates are quite nice.

Users have to be careful to make sure their websites and product are up to par otherwise it just looks like a silly addition.

My doubts are inconclusive at this time. lol.
