Hey RAP users and experts, I am about to pull the trigger and buy RAP but I have a few questions first. I was unable to find these answers through searching the Warrior Forum: - Do visitors need a paypal account to buy? - Is it possible for a visitor to purchase a membership through Paypal with a credit card (without having to get a Paypal account)? Its my understanding that you can buy a one time offer using your credit card but you need a Paypal account to sign up for a membership... - Does RAP work with Paypal's Website Payments Pro (on site payment via Paypal)? - Does RAP integrate with my Aweber so I can develop and manage my list of leads / buyers? - I have read that RAP manages subscriptions but does it restrict users once they stop paying / cancel? Looking forward to getting some answers and hopefully buying RAP soon! ~Sean |

Sean, If you haven't checked out RapBank yet, you should. It's pretty cool, and you get support there. -Dani |

Sean, Yes to everything you ask, except for the part about PayPal's Website Payments Pro. Sid has looked at the new API they came out with, but I think it will be a while before it gets used. With PayPal, the buyer can use a credit card, but I think you will find people have PayPal accounts already, especially if they are buying on Ebay. I think after so many purchases with a CC at PayPal, they move you into signing up. You talk about a membership. Are you planning on getting the Members Plus package? RAP / Member Plus It will do what you are asking about restricting users once they stop paying/cancel. If they have a subscription, and they stop paying, RAP (members add on) locks them out of the members area automatically. Very effective. Also, the Members Plus comes with the PayPal add on to do this. PM me if you have any other questions. Thanks, John |

Hey John, I'm going to go check out RAP bank. I wasn't clear about two things from your response John. You said "Yes to all": - Do visitors need a paypal account to buy? So you're saying that yes they do need a paypal account to buy my products? I'm not selling through Ebay. Simply a sales page and a membership site off of my blog. - Is it possible for a visitor to purchase a membership through Paypal with a credit card (without having to get a Paypal account)? Its my understanding that you can buy a one time offer using your credit card but you need a Paypal account to sign up for a membership... So you're saying a visitor can purchase my membership on credit card without signing up for a Paypal account? If I do get RAP I will be getting Member Plus! |
