Info Prodigy Product Launch Course?

Seems like August is the month for Product Launch Courses. On August 17, Greg Jacobs (from WPMage) is launching his $2K Assassination course. And I got this offer for Steve Clayton's new product launch course, Info Prodigy, a few days ago. Much smaller price tag, about $300 bucks. Anyone bought it and willing to post a review?

I've bought it. I will not write an essay and will try to summarize in one or two sentence:

If you have the patience and ... let's say guts (i'm thinking of a different word) - you will make money with this product. It has everything you need to know about making a good stream of income.

I've heard it's mainly in pdf form. Nothing like CB2.0 or NB2.0 with step by step videos and instruction. $297 is a high price point for a product which is mainly in pdf form.

Does anybody know how it compares to Mark Joyner's Info Production Kit, which costs $97 and has videos and pdfs?

Yep, it's in PDF form and it doesn't have step by step videos. That's why i wrote You Need To Have Patience and the Guts to actually make money.

Well, trytolearnmore, I don't want to tease much out of you, since you said you don't want to right a whole essay, but can you say a little more?

Like specifically, if you do have the guts and the patience, how exactly will you make money with this course. Precisely what method does your guts + your patience + Steve's pdf teach you? What's he teaching here?

          Just trying-to-learn-more

            Modules:

            1) Finding a market - It's a video lesson (nothing special there)
            2) Teaches you how to build a product and how to make it perfect for the customer (or at least pretty close to perfect). He goes into stuff like

            a) What kind of material is good for the customer.
            b) What kind of customers are there
            c) Some psychological stuff. How to make your product more... familiar, i guess to the client
            d) ... he goes into a lot of stuff

            3) Creating pitch pages

            4) How to get payment (the technical side). Registering at Clickbank, E-Junkie or wherever you want your product to be. Plus he teaches other stuff too

            5) This modules is about creating buzz. Finding Joint Ventures, pre-launch strategies, etc. Very useful tips

            6) How to sell your product.

            7) Some technical stuff (Legal documents, FTP guide, etc)

I won't be using Info prodigy right now, because currently i have other project, but i will come back to it later.

If you are a newbie or do not have the confidence - i wouldn't buy it. There are other things you could do. I've read that people on this forum liked Commission blueprint (his other product). It's about affiliate marketing. I would check that out (it's 297$ value, i think, but if you leave the page you will get a 100$ discount)

            Best regards,
            Andrii

I had the impression that there is material about the process of creating an info product, not just launching one, correct?

Yes, it starts from market research, to creating a product, to creating a sales letter, the product launch, getting affiliates, to flipping the site.

Is it still possible to make good money selling ebooks outside the IM/money making niche?, I'm becoming kind of skeptical because

1 I see hundreds, if not thousands of what seem like good products on clickbank with no sales
2 PPC is so expensive now adwords is virtually out for any ebook selling for less than $50
3 One of the creators of Info Prodigy seems to prefer to sell PLR immediatley rather than trying to sell the ebook in it's own right

      1) Remember that gravity has very little bearing on how many units are sold every day. I know of people who do 2k+ a day with a gravity around 20.

Also remember most e-books on there simply aren't set up right. They'll show you the right way.

      2) That's only true for e-books with no back end products, terrible copy, and eye-gouging design. If you have good sales copy, good graphics, and multiple upsell and downsell offers you can absolutely kill it on Adwords.

(Personally ran something a week ago for a few days that gave me a 300% ROI... and we aren't talking a few clicks a day.)

      3) Not sure what you mean by that.

I can't go into much detail but Steve and Tim are two of the most genuine people you'll ever meet and they definitely practice what they preach (in a big way).

      Cheers,

      Zach

P.S - Most of the products in the top 10 (not in the make money online niche) do well over five figures a day. Those that don't all do above four figures.

I did a search in clickbank, there are 13,188 products total, of those only 252 (1.9%) have a gravity over 30 and 9,329 (70.7%) have a gravity less than 1

I currently have 2 of my own products in clickbank that have been there for several years so I understand the process, I'm trying to understand if if is worth getting back into making ebooks again.

It seems to me that if you can create a top notch product you can do really well, if not your product will hardly sell at all

I consider a gravity of >20 as very respectable and would expect it to do well

As regards my point #3, the point is why create an ebook in say a dog training niche, and instead of selling it in that niche create a PLR product from it and move it immediatley into the IM niche?, in my opinion it's because it's actually very hard to sell such ebooks in that niche, you know, don't try and mine for gold, better to sell picks and shovels

I agrre that Tim and Steve are top notch, I have bought most of their products

I have Info Prodigy and am working through it (in between a zillion other projects) and so far it's pretty good. I have many of their other products and so was happy to try it. I'll give a more detailed review when I'm finished.

The one thing I'd say is not to buy the upsell. It was very expensive, and just had a copy of their e-mails to their launch partners, and a bunch of PLR stuff. And information on traffic-getting which was pretty good alright, but I had it already in their other products, and even if I didn't, it would have been very expensive for what it is. In fairness they gave me a refund on the upsell straight away.

I haven't bought InfoProdigy myself, but I did listen to a live Webinar with Mark Ling and the guy who created InfoProdigy. So here's what I can tell you about it:

    1) The guy (sorry, I don't remember his name) actually knows his stuff. The webinar made it clear that he actually does what he teaches himself.
    2) If you use this course diligently, you are likely to make money. However, you will have to create or outsource a product and do a bunch of other stuff, so the initial investment is considerable.
    3) The course is 90% text and only 10% videos. I know that many people were disappointed about having to read through 700 pages.

I hope this helps you make the right decision!

I have most of Steve Claytons products and love them but unfortunately I'm a little dissapointed with this one. It's unfortunate that most of this comes in PDF format....it's basically a $300 dollar ebook....$500 dollar ebook if you take them up on the upsell for a couple extra chapters.

They claim that it's over 600 pages in PDF format but you will quickly see that all the pages are double spaced with not much reading to one page. This could probably be condensed into your basic 300 page internet marketing paperback thats
sold on Amazon for $19.95(double spacing...an old ebook creation trick to make you think it's bigger than it really is).

Sorry guys...just not impressed with this one. With so many products out there on product creation, there are many other choices out there that are just as good, at the fraction of the price. I have a feeling this one will end up being a free bonus to other products very soon

Steve Clayton overdelivers and has grown quickly into a brilliant marketer. I personally love his style:
      1. Simple and clear communication
      2. Developed his marketing empire systematically into SUCCESS
      3. He has developed some of the best marketing tools you'll ever use.
      4. So what content is delivered in text as opposed to video-content is content-its not entertainment-its knowledge and skills we're trying to acquire to become like Steve
