Wordpress Membership plugin - Any good for professional membership site?

I am busy doing research for a membership site that I am going to create, am looking for easy to use membership site scripts.
I have a limited knowledge and experience with PHP etc, so I am looking for something that is simple to use and that will look professional.
After some research I saw that there is a wordpress membership site plugin. (Wishlist I think, don't know if there are any others out there.)
Would this wordpress plugin be sufficient for a normal membership site like a PLR membership site?
How easy is this to use and how flexible are you in using templates or themes?
Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.
