I found CB to be extremely good value, not tried PPC Classroom, lot of hype around it, looked like it's probably worth a punt.

I am in PPC Classroom and am redoing campaigns for my own products that I have had going for awhile. Just today I am now paying .06 a click for clicks that I have been paying .70-.85 a click for!

I think it's really comprehensive and I'm pretty psyched. It just glosses over the biggie though - finding a great niche/offer.

Overall I'm glad I'm in. I thought .06 a click was an urban myth. :-)

You can still get in. And you only have to pay $1 to get started, not $77. Courtesy of Stephen Pierce's Dtalpha Talkback blog (dtalpha.com/talkback/). He does a 3 part interview with Anik Singal who agrees to reopen the course for friends of Stephen Pierce. If you go to the normal PPC Classroom url, it'll be closed. So go here instead:

          makerealmoneyontheinternet.com/ppc2.html

I can't post full urls yet, but you get the idea.

Cheers will go check it out.

LOL at the sheer number of typos on the sales copy, Jeez.

And a credit card form that is not secure either ??????

No way, this is crazy, sorry I do not trust this, a non secured credit card entry form, are these guys for real ????

UPDATE: My bad it's because they are using a masking URL, looks like the page is secured , the URL bar simply shows unsecured.

Finally managed to order this after speaking to them, jeez, upsell o' rama or what, infact there were so many upsells I actually lost track of what they were offering, got a little bit annoying as each upsell basically suggested the previous version i had decided to purchase was inferior, anyway, I waded through it and grabbed what seemed like decent value, guess I just need to be "set up " now.

Thanks ! I also went in after reading Simon's last post. Was initially concerned that the page was not secure. Now have to wait to get the log in info (to wait for manual approval).

                Simon,

I'd be interested in hearing what you think of the program. I've followed some of your previous post and find them to be no nonsense and straight up...

                  Commission Blueprint.

Most of PPC Classroom's content can be found on Amit Mehta's blog

                  Sorry, Amit.

I'm still a BIG FAN of yours

hopefully they'll open it back up soon. i think it'll go real good with what you're learning in commission blueprint, but so far it's one of the best purchases i've made online. i'm more than pleased.

Thank you for your comments both.

The purchasing process is painful with so many damm upsells I nearly left . Incedentially, I used the link for the $1 purchase via that blog from the post above as the main doors are closed fr this product.

For the record I still got charged $77 which was annoying, I have sent them a ticket about it.

They give you the option when you purchase to receive 3 monthly niches per month with a full plan of action on each, this is about $25 a month or something like that, I agreed to this, the first 3 available niches are ok, two of them are liable to have vastly less competition. The other one is fat loss, ermm, sorry but they suggest fat loss is an under the radar niche - ROFL . I feel very honoured they shared me with the top secret niche of fat loss :-)

However, the detail he goes into on each niche, the format the data is displayed in etc , I think this was a worthwhile upsell, although I have to say as you're already paying a monthly fee this should have been included. The upside I guess is you could say that you'll be competing againt less people on the niches they give you.

There's a smattering of other upsells throughout the process, one of them being an online bootcamp , here's an insider tip, if you say no to it, they then give you a chance to purchase it for about 1/5th of the initial price and the downside is neglible. At this point having watched the first bootcamp video I though it was ok, nothing special, I'll give them one more month and if it's no good, I'll cancel that part. But say no to it initially and grab it for a fraction of the price on the next page is my advice. Also worth noting the audio sucks on it, sounds like Metal Mikey on acid.

On the final page of your payment process you're given modules 1-3 to read in PDF format while you wait for them to manually set up your account, this is because presumably each area that is unlocked to you based on your purchase needs to be set up in your account, I waited a few hours, no biggie.

When you login you get access to a central members area with all the available parts you purchased accessable via a menu on the left, it's professionally produced.

I did fire them off a support ticket, as of yet I've still heard nothing back but they see to have two different helpdesks on two different URL's, quite confusing, so today I sent them another ticket from the internal helpdesk you get access to from the members area.

As of yet I've really not had enough time to get to grips with it, there's a huge amount of content, 9 main modules and a ton of additional courses covering various topics around PPC.

They have done away with the e-book format and simply split a book up into a number of online modules, each of which has a quiz at the end to ensure you read the module carefully, I guess it provides a level of interactivity which keeps you interested.

At this point, that's about as much as I can offer, so far I have to say I prefer the less cluttered content the guys at Commision Blue print are offering, but it's early days and there's a very professional feel to the PPC classroom product, and it looks to me like they are dedicated to providing as much content as possible.

Having gone through modules 1-4 , there's some decent information in there, I wouldnt' say it's ground breaking at this point but it's solid and if you're trying to get to grips with PPC, it's probably worth a punt, it's via Clickbank so you can get a refund if you think it sucks.

Interestingly the approach to PPC is sorta at polar opposites between Blueprint and PPC classroom, althogh they do ofc deal with the same issues and there is crossover and agreeement, they also differ dramatically on the number of keywords they use in a campaign and also on whether they go deep or wide and in respect of long tail etc, just goes to show you there's more than one way to skin a cat, as the authors of both of these programs do very well.

They include a huge number of bonuses, I've not even had a chance to skim them, some look quality, some are things like clipart !!, so basically tat but there does look like some decent stuff in there, althougjh a huge humber of the "partner bonuses" are indeed more ways for them to make a buck out the backend by promoting some other marketers products. They also include a large number of tools for managing campaigns, choosing keywords, that kind of thing.

Don't know quite why but at this point I prefer Commision Blue print I think , just easier to get to grips with, but there's no doubt any PPC'er will gain some useful stuff from this, I'll try and come back with more detail on the content in a week or so when I've had more time to look at it, there's just to much to comment on up front.

One thing I will say is I prefer videos, there' much more text and much less videos with PPC classroom, but that's just a personal perference.

This is an apple to orange comparison. Both of them fruits, I mean they both are IM products.

But CB concentrates on list building and PPC classroom of course concentrates on PPC.

They have an awful lot more in common than that. CB concentrates on keywords via PPC to landing pages to CB, so does PPC Classroom, PPC classroom focusses more detail on the PPC element. It's more like 2 different types of apples, than apples to oranges IMO but I'll leave others to make up their mind on that.
