Have been considering creating a membership site offering designs, templates, guides and other tools for Warriors and Internet Marketers in general. Was wondering if you wonderful folk could spare a minute and perhaps recommend some top notch membership site scripts which I might be able to use to help develop this site? Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated. No hurry. (I'll just wait here and hit refresh on this thread every 60 seconds). |

Hey Hanz. I use Memberspeed. It does just about everything, but is not the easiest program to work with. What kind of membership site are you looking to do? You can take a look at my webiste in my sig below. It is the PLR membership site. Good Luck. |

Hi Marcel, we haven't quite decided yet. A PLR membership was one option, templates/graphics tools was another. Still unsure of our direction. Will take a look at your site shortly. Thanks |

Before you even consider what script to use you need to map out exactly what you will have in your site, what features you need, and what features you think you might need later on. You can't decide what script to use if you don't have a plan of what you want your site to be first. Every script has its good and bad points and they all have different features so it is a bit pointless to even look at scripts before you even know what you need first. |

Can you recommend a good script for a PLR site? Memberspeed is one option. Obviously I'll need to analyze them for myself.

To be honest, if you're using Wordpress I'd recommend using a membership plugin. Membership scripts can be long to install unless you have the experience (You may do, I'm not sure). Membership plugins are simply upload and go, from there you just set your preferences... There are free ones with do everything but protect your RSS feed (Still good if you post pages not posts) or you can pay for one like YourMember (Cheapest that does a good job) or the widely used $100 ones.

I have a few membership sites and use wordpress for them all and they do quite well. You can either use the paid plugins or some of the free ones. The best way to build it quickly is to offer an affiliate program which can also use a wordpress plugin. Hey Hanz, Would you like a copy of my membership site script? I'll give you a copy with totally free PLR, on the one condition that I can have access to any mods you make. Its easily worth $97 with PLR. You'll need to do some PHP programming? Can you do that, or do you have access to a coder? Let me know, and I'll send you a copy for you to have a look at. Thanks, Richard |

I've used Robert Puddy's LFM and the butterfly script. Both are excellent and really simple to install, integrate fully with aweber, and give every member an automatic affiliate link. With the butterfly script having PLR you could do some work to make it install with some nice graphics rather than just the blank pages the default install has. |

I have used a few recently using Digital Access Pass, than moving over to JV Manager..Its a few years old, but gives you superior options and its very flexible. I'm talking about JVM1 not Delavo... The only thing JVM1 doesn't do is drip content, which I can care less about..
