Here are some personal thoughts about the 30DC. First of all the name "30 Day Challenge" is no more. It's simply called "The Challenge" from now on. They changed the whole structure, and it is not the typical 30 Day format anymore. I participated in last year's 30DC and in my opinion it was worth it, because I came in contact with Market Samurai, a tool I use constantly and which is worth many times the money they are actually asking for. On the other hand WordPress Direct and TrafficBug are not worth trying IMHO. All in all, the 30DC taught me to get my singing lessons website on spots one and two in Google. It's by no means a competitive niche, but still. A so called SEO expert we hired for that very task took 125 Pounds of our bank account every month with no visible success, till we dumped him and I started signing up for the 30DC and did it myself. So, did I learn something? I sure did, and I made much more then $1 which is the initial goal. For me it was worth it. Am I an SEO and IM expert now? Not in a million years. BUT I started doing some SEO work for other local businesses, which now generates a nice additional monthly income. Bottom line: I think the 30DC works if your goals are realistic and if you are able to stay focused and follow suggested daily tasks. |

Anytime you can get a structured training program for free, it is worth spending some time on. I review his modules just to see 1) how he is teaching 2) What he is teaching 3) are there any new things out there to add to my system. |

I think anyone can benefit from it... New people learn basics and more experienced people get schooled in how to deliver a professional, extremely well done course. I have even set up a study group of sorts for some offline friends who want to get into IM... It's working really well for them.. So much so, in fact, that my Mom decided to join! LOL. They watch the videos, do the excercises, then ask me (and each other) questions. It has been a lot easier for me, too...Plus it's fun, I love seeing the lightbulbs flashing and them 'getting it'. |

Ed is very entertaining on the screen. I would download the videos and watch in at 2x speed to get through the content much faster. And the only reason is I have been participating for a couple of years and a lot of the stuff the same, although he does manage to add a new twist each year.
