Can't help you with the theme, but the WP Robot Amazon plugin is good

start with free version, made by the same people who made wp-robot

than investing in wp-robot

Looking for 2 column themes...

with white color back ground...

no fancy graphic or colors

WPZonbuilder - I think they are still running a WSO. Just started using it and it's pretty neat.

I use phpZon Pro for Wordpress - Amazon Plugin Software Script to add products within my pages and posts and WP Robot Amazon module to add products as reviews on my blog.
