I use Hostgator.

Get a Baby plan, not a Hatchling plan, and you can host multiple domains as add-ons.

I recently added a newdomain name to my hostgator plan and the url is longer than the American dictionary. did I do something wrong? I assumed(?) that the name would come up the same as an original url Ii.e) add new domain monkeysee.info would
be ...Index... but it comes up with the original domain name plus ie..... .h.t.t.p://makemoneyonline.monkeysee.info(not a real url) .... Does this make sense?

Default I have been using bluehost for years

I have multiple websites with different web addresses. You set up one domain as your primary domain and then add additional websites as add on domains. It works perfect and I have never had a problem. There customer service is top notch . I am on a $6.95 a month plan. It comes with all the bells and whistles. I believe its unlimited domains and unlimited space. I am not an affiliate for them but I should be.
Best of luck
Steve

Addon domains in hostgator are a disaster for your backlinking plans. Get a multiple class "C" host. Say, a 10 class "C" IP address plan from SEOHOST and you will benefit in your linking structure (if you know what you're doing ;-)

You're going to confuse people with a comment like that.

Backlinking to add-on domains is not a disaster for backlinking plans.

Unless you meant don't interlink add-on domains from the same IP (which would apply to any host, not just Hostgator).

GoDaddy ALL THE WAY
Not the best for IMers at all. Many problems reported by those working online with GoDaddy hosting.

I don't like add-on domains. If you are serious about multiple sites and working online - pay the 24.95 for the smallest Hostgator reseller account. The separate cpanels for each site and the WebHost Manager screen that lets you check all sites from one location will save hours in the next few months.

The word "reseller" seems to make many new IMers veer away from reseller hosting accounts thinking "I don't want to sell hosting". That's not an issue.

I don't resell hosting - my reseller accounts are the best way for me to manage multiple sites (without using VPS or a dedicated server). Hg customer service on reseller accounts is great - there is sufficient training on the HG site for anyone to learn to use the simple WHM.

I can increase bandwidth to a site any time I need it - allocate space between sites as needed, etc.

It mainly goes like this.....depending on your budget of course, and also your needs.

Shared hosting < Reseller hosting < Virtual Private Server < Dedicated Server

Of course, the price goes up with each level....but then you get to do more with the bigger plan.

Most hosts are good today as long as they do not oversell their servers.

You can check out Webhosting Talk, there are many reviews over there. I'd recommend KnownHost anytime for affordable VPS and Downtownhost for Shared hosting.

I use Just Host, they also have unlimited domains using add on domains. Everytime I have a problem they usually have it solved within an hour.

If you are going to build more than 100+ AutoBlogs everymonth Then you should Try VPS or dedicated Servers. because, Autoblogs everyday produce 100's of Post every day ( it's depending on your setting ) , so you will receive traffic as well .so it'll make more server load.
or
if it this just Unique Blogs with Manual Posting Then You may try some Blog friendly Shared Hosting Providers. for cheap & blog friendly shared hosting you can try privilegeserver.com . ( 1st Month Discount Coupon code: PROMO80 ).

I recommend FusionHost.com

You can host unlimited domains for just $5.95 /month and you get a free domain name and a free dedicated IP. You don't even have to pay up front to get that price.

They also have a 1-Click Script Installer for WordPress and about 150 other scripts.

I would run a search on this site for previous posts on the subject of cheap hosting - personally I have made at least 7 posts in response to the subject thread.

I use Host Monster and I'm very happy. I also think my Word Press sites are faster too. I know a lot of people like Host Gator but I had trouble with them and my sites were very slow too.

For my core sites I use IX Web Hosting since I can get 15 dedicated IP addresses under once account.
