Has anyone used the cheaper version of Vbulletin? Obviously this forum is the better suite version, but I would like to know of anyone's experience with the regular 4.0 version. |

Reviving this thread in the hope of some comments from anyone with recent experience with VB 4... Actually this forum still runs on Vbulletin 3.8.5 as far as I can see. I wonder why it hasn't been upgraded. I know version 4 had a truly lousy reputation when it first came out, but isn't it OK now? I also have a 3.8 forum and I'm wondering about the upgrade. Anyone have experiences to share? |

I've used version 4.0+ and its pretty good. Though it has more of a learning curve than previous versions. It just takes some getting used to.

I love look of your site, its pretty cool what you can do with vBulletin. I assume your using the suite version, was it easy to set up? Also, did you outsource your graphics or do them yourself? Quote:

I'm fully utilizing the vBulletin Suite software - it was easy to create, but I consider myself an advance vBulletin user (7 years experience) so I don't think my words will account for much. However, we provide terrific support if you ever need assistance. ![]() As for the graphics, I made them myself. ![]() Best Regards, Jasper | |
