Vbulletin 4.0 vs Vbulletin 4.0 PowerSwuite

Has anyone used the cheaper version of Vbulletin?

Obviously this forum is the better suite version, but I would like to know of anyone's experience with the regular 4.0 version.

Reviving this thread in the hope of some comments from anyone with recent experience with VB 4...

Actually this forum still runs on Vbulletin 3.8.5 as far as I can see. I wonder why it hasn't been upgraded. I know version 4 had a truly lousy reputation when it first came out, but isn't it OK now? I also have a 3.8 forum and I'm wondering about the upgrade. Anyone have experiences to share?

I've used version 4.0+ and its pretty good. Though it has more of a learning curve than previous versions. It just takes some getting used to.

I love look of your site, its pretty cool what you can do with vBulletin. I assume your using the suite version, was it easy to set up? Also, did you outsource your graphics or do them yourself?

        Hi Clint,

I'm fully utilizing the vBulletin Suite software - it was easy to create, but I consider myself an advance vBulletin user (7 years experience) so I don't think my words will account for much. However, we provide terrific support if you ever need assistance.

As for the graphics, I made them myself.

        Best Regards,
        Jasper
