Is anyone using Wp-Drip?

Hey Warriors,

I recently found out about WP-Drip which can be used with Wishlist member.

I was contemplating getting DAP but it seems very technical and I don't have time to figure it all out, let alone if something goes wrong!

Besides, I already paid for Wishlist just over a month ago. I didn't know I would have so much trouble trying to get it to drip content out. I would have gotten DAP but the downside was that it had no Rapid Action Profits support.

I know it's got a built in one but I think that WP-drip will do what I want it to do. I would like to know how it's been working for you.

I also had a few questions...

Does it drip pages as well as posts?

I know this is a long shot, but can it drip parts of a page? (Does anyone have a solution to this?)

How is the usability? Reliability?

I saw a widget that shows upcoming blogposts, but can you have a widget that displays what you want it to? (such as pages, notes, etc?)

Can content drip out in periods of time AFTER a sign up?

I don't expect answers to all those questions, but if anyone has more information, feel free to help a warrior out

I don't know exactly what you are trying to do but I know you can drip feed your posts in Wordpress without any plugins. Just set the dates you want them to be published.

Just to be clear here, 'drip' is not an issue of scheduling. It is an issue of providing content (dripping) after an action, basically an autoresponder for site posts/content/memberships.

Plenty of ways to schedule posts, not many (useful) ways to drip that or control that drip.

I still think there's a market for a drip for podcasts, but still haven't seen a single one... and I know people pay for podcasts...

      Be well,
      Allen

Instead of allowing your members to download everything in your membership site and go off and cancel, it will drip out content based on when each member signs up... so it's much different than just scheduling posts because if you're just scheduling posts, then you can't time the drip with each member.

i've not used wishlist but i have used DAP and still use it. in terms of technical support Ravi & Veena are very good at replying quickly and if not the support area has pretty much everything that you would need help with and has videos too.

Hi Suraj, yes I know Ravi has great support. Every time I asked questions I always got responses within a few hours or less.

However, it would be a terrible waste of 100 bucks if WP-Drip had filled in the features I need.

Suraj: Thanks for the show of support :-). It is much appreciated! We don't forget our friends :-)

Dean: DAP is really not all that technical.

Just because it has more features, doesn't mean you have to use them all at once. DAP allows you to use the default options and launch a membership site in just a few hours.

And DAP scales as your membership site grows. And the day you want more power, more customizability and more features, that's when you'll realize how awesome it is to not have to switch your entire platform just because you now have 10,000 - or 100,000 members.

DAP is the only platform that is built from the ground-up using the concept of "Dripping". Email dripping & Content Dripping. In fact, you could even say that we invented the word "Content Dripping" :-) (before that, it was called "timed-content" or "time-released content", "sequential content", "staggered content", etc :-)

We definitely invented the word "ContentResponder", and have the domain name to prove it too! :-)

So go ahead and take the plunge now. Trust me, the $100 you are thinking about and not switching to DAP, will be chicken-feed when you roll out your DAP-powered membership site, and start monetizing your content in ways you haven't even thought of before.

      Hope this helps.
