Default Best "paid" Wordpress plugins?

Hi --

I was wondering -- which 'paid' wordpress have you actually paid for to have installed in your wordpress site?

I'm looking for high quality plugins that you have found you get a lot of value out of.

Thanks!

Gravity Forms...Awesome customized forms for any area of your site. Drop dead easy and professional forms

SEO Pressor or WP Pressor...dummy proofs your SEO on each piece of content and scores them so you can figure out what you need to fix

Wish List membership plugin...great for building lists, dripping content and creating memberships even if they are free

Siloplugin...For Geeks who understand LSI

Back Up Buddy by ithemes..autoback up of your site, also allows for easy migration for developers...actually all of the plugins at ithemes kick booty

There are more, but those are the absolute must haves..just testing out the new pop up plugin that is called...errrrrr...can't remember the name

I work with rocket theme templates for wp and joomla. They are very good.

There is one in particular I like: Wordpress Styles - RocketTheme Wordpress Styles Club Demo Site

after some image and css magic, it can have a pretty unique look every time...

Truth be told, I haven't found a paid or free plug-in that I really liked, of course I'm not really worried about plug ins.

I also recommend "hide page" if you have non static items on your website, but don't want them to show up on a menu.

NextGen Gallery is an awesome gallery for wordpress (standard plugin can't seperate different categories of images).

There are a few cloaking plugins that hide your affiliate IDs. Very handy and a must have. I'm sure there are a lot of good free and paid options for this.

Someone already mentioned popup domination which is personally one the best investments I have made myself. Really works magic on my niche sites. Going to use it soon on my IM site too.

Will post more as they come to mind.

No one mentioned the wp-robot plug in. the one that does the automatic updating on blogs. does no one use it?
and when you say transfers for developers my ears perk right up. I am now learning how to move sites from one host to another and it is terrible hard. if the files from the sellers are perfect and in one piece it can be well not easy but okay. but boy am i having problems with the large ones.
so is there a plug in that makes moving these files easier?? I would buy it right now and say thank you thank you thank you.

Gravity Forms is a great plugin, as already mentioned.

When it comes to SEO, ScribeSEO makes optimizing your WordPress posts and pages a breeze. Well worth the cost.

From all I have read I think wp robot is the one plug in that I would pay good money for there is a lite version I think or there is one out there that acts like it very closely. The developers work hard to keep the plug in value up I think that is a good thing. Then they will continue to develop quality products for us to use.

I love reading about wp plug ins but then again I always find ALL of them could be useful.... so should i put 30 plug ins on my wp sites?? I hear the more is not the merrier as the plug ins can cause problems. So how many is too many? how many are kind of built in some of these premium themes, when they say optimized for Amazon or Ebay does that mean those plug ins are already built in to the theme?? I kind of think it means that but then I am not sure so I do nothing... Look for another ebook or read more here.

There are some excellent threads about free plug ins here at wf. I so appreciate ALL of you who post your opinions and knowledge here for all of us.

thanks again I very much appreciate each and everyone of you who post.

BettyBakeBake, WP Twin is not a plugin but it's supposed to be a good way to clone and transfer sites. It's by Jason Fladlien.

Premium List Magnet.

I train a pretty large group of bloggers and we are loving this plugin. It does what Popup Domination does and more.

How I use it?

To put "post and page specific Video Popups" on a blog. You can put different video popups on different posts on your site.

This is HUGE.
  • I've never had good success withSite Wide regular popups.
  • I've never had good success with ebook or ecourse graphic popups.

Here is an example on my own blog.

It is a page specific video popup, that links to a related clickbank product.

This Popup has a 30% clicktrhu rate!

Anyways...thrilled with the products that Welly is creating.

I use Digi Listbuiler for list building, WP Backup Creator for easy and quick whole blog backups, monetization plugins like WP Robot, CB Goliath plus a couple of others - but it all depends on a type of blog I build.

I really like WP Backup Creator too - everyone should back up their sites regularly and this makes it very easy - particularly important before you make major changes - just in case it goes pear shaped!

Oh and the one in my sig is pretty good too
