Default RSS Optimizer or Traffic Genius RSS Plugin?

Both of these plugins (RSS Optimizer or Traffic Genius RSS) seem similar,

anyone had good (or bad) results with either of them?

Well it seems to me all they are doing is what Wordpress does already,

Just add the ping sites to your writing page in the settings area. You can set your feed to full page.

Then add your blog to Google blogs and it will pick everything up automatically when you add a new post. In fact there are a lot of sites that will do this. That is why they are called a feed. You submit once and they get any posts from then on.

You can do the same thing for facebook, twitter and and more.

The real secret is to get people to subscribe to your feed so make it obvious. I like to add it to each post.

As you can see right there in the post so readers can subscribe right then and there. Also make sure you use feedburner so you can let them subscribe via email to your feed.

I used RSS Optimizer on a couple of my websites and saw no difference in traffic what so ever, I was very disappointed, if I could have got a refund on it, I would have asked for one.

Web Traffic Genius RSS creates a unique RSS feed for each post, not the root level of the domain, and sends it out to about 20 RSS feed agregators. You can also create a CRON job to go back and post your old posts via a schedule. You can also add feeds to your new posts so you are submitting more than one post per feed. I started using it a couple weeks ago and have had no problems with it and would recommend it. There is also a good forum with participating members.
Cheers!
