Looking to beat 1ShoppingCart

Has anyone discovered a shopping cart system better than or equivalent to 1ShoppingCart?

What I specifically need are these features:

Customization to match website (ie. a header logo and colors is nowhere near enough).

Ability to have a 1-step checkout process - with distinct customization for each product.

Ability to have a cart system for multiple products purchased at 1 time.

Promotional coupons by product for % or $

1ShoppingCart is great at these features, however, their checkout process is causing many lost sales due to the checkout page automatically refreshing while entering credit card details.

I'm on the verge of implementing my own cart instead of using a hosted solution. Any recommendations are most appreciated - even for self hosted carts that meet these needs.

Thanks!

Have you looked at JVManager2? I use that and while my
goals are probably different from yours I've found it to be
    very good.

    I don't know about 1-click checkout - if you've bought
from my system before it restores your info when you enter
    your email address.

Only thing that beats 1Shopping is Fantasos (JVManager 2). Which I'm using to process hundreds of orders daily.

      Thanks Loren and Andre!

I've had a look at JVManager / Fantasos - signed -up for the Test Drive.

I'm really finding it quite difficult to understand and customize. The documentation seems to be non-existent - which really sucks when someone is trying to decide to purchase this product.

In trying to customize the look and feel it is not very intuitive at all. I was hoping that the examples of the shopping cart pages would show at least some amount of customization, but they don't. Right now I'm thinking that this is not possible with this product?

Is there any documentation on this product? I found the templates section under the tools menu. However, deciphering this is very difficult w/o some sort of docs.

I have been programming all of my own sites in DW for the past 5 yrs, so I do understand CSS and HTML - however, I'm just not finding this system to be very understandable at all.

When clicking on the Help link, the help details are not matching the screens I'm looking at. I'm assuming this is the "Test Drive" system being out of sync with the Help system????

Anyway, thank you both for replying. If I'm missing something fairly obvious here please let me know.

      Thanks.

Unfortunately the Internet Company is highly proprietary
with the documentation, which runs into 100s of pages -
and is basically not available to "hosted account" users.

There are videos as well - hosted account sellers can have
them customized - but for some hosted account sellers
the investment in the custom videos and yearly licensing
isn't worth it. It's a bit of an awkward situation and I think
an Achilles heal. That being said - I've mostly learned how
to use Fantasos by playing around with it - however I own
the script license myself - a $3k investment.

I built my own checkout templates - you can go through
my simple process here and get a free ebook:
    http://zerodollarmarketer.com/fantasos/16qa/order

What I don't like about it is the forms seem like they can't
be customized and it's hard to control how items to
buy are displayed in columns and rows - so if you wanted
to sell non-digital products with it - like bike parts -
you might find the Fantasos e-commerce store doesn't
    make the look you want.

It does, I think, generate pages real fast and I think that
may have something to do with why some of the
appearance of the forms is so generic.

I'm not an expert yet - so there may be elements of
customization I haven't figured out. I'm pretty sure
that when the functionality of the script is more fully
developed the designers will start working more on
making the process look slicker and more consistent,
    branding-wise, to the buyer.

    Hope this helps.

Whenever I see a site using JV Manager 2/Fantasos, it always looks ugly. Like something from 2001!

Is this just because people haven't customized it properly?

    Hi,

Do you have access to the Forum during the test drive, you can get most of your answers on customization there.

A lot of people don't bother with customization as it requires some initial effort - once setup though it is very easy just to get all your products in the same template - there are a few pre-made templates available.

I designed my own to match the rest of my sites:

I'm also looking for a good shopping cart service and while I was browsing the 1shoppingcart's website I saw that it's fully integrable with Paypal.

With that combination it should make 1shoppingcart almost perfect... Or am I missing something else?

I personally love 1 shopping cart, but you may want to try Infusionsoft

    Infusionsoft - Marketing Automation Software

Lots of heavy hitters are using them now and they have a great members
area for affiliates and cool checkout process.

InfusionSoft is really expensive if you want the shopping cart functionality though. It's excellent software, but does have a $5k setup fee.

We've segmented our product into three editions, each with a unique setup/activation fee and features. Our basic edition is $1999 setup and $199 monthly. Not everyone needs all the features, so this resonates better with true entrepreneurs and small business owners.

When a business grows to the point of requiring an shopping cart and an affiliate program, they can always upgrade. We listen to our users and give them the freedom to manage their growth and not lock them into anything.

If you have questions about our products and services, you can always reach out to me. My email address is joseph.manna ~at~ infusionsoft.com.

These guys were talking about the shopping cart, though.

To replace the features of 1shoppingcart would cost $5k setup - is that right?

How does your basic edition compare to having an AWeber account?
(I know there are benefits, and IS is more "enterprise" but just not clear on what the differences are)

Why beat 1shoppingcart? Join it! Or at least join through our private label of their stuff at Prosperitycart.com we've been using them for more than 8 years and are now a private label of theirs. We love the company, help many clients get the cart installed, set up right and working to the best of its abilities.

We also provide direct support to our clients for 30 days past what is included with the cart, and we provide ongoing email support to help out.

If you go with 1shoppingcart, be aware that they bill every 28 days, and NOT monthly.
