Default Anyone using Network Blazer?

Is anyone here using Network Blazer? I have a few sites on this program - I was so impressed with IPK I gave this a go - but today no sites are accessible nor is Network Blazer dot com. I only get a message that says "server not found." I have heard there have been issues like this in the past, so does this message mean that it is "their" servers that are down? Thank you to anyone who can help.

Hi Sydney

I use it and the 2 sites that actually made money are now inaccessible and have been since Fri 10/1. This has been the 4th outage for me. No more. I'm dumping this system as it is too unreliable and the support is abysmal. It's back to hostgator and wordpress for me. The sad part is all the time I spent creating these websites only to move off to another platform. Also, any links I built pointing to a sub page in the NB sites will break due to different extension format. Network Blazer uses *.php and Wordpress does not.

If anyone knows a way around that I would appreciate it. I've got some articles written all over the world pointing to internal pages that will now has resource box links that are broken.

Network Blazer is a major disappointment.

Best, Kater

Setup 301 redirects using the .htaccess file:

'redirect 301 /old/old.htm http://www.you.com/new.htm'

Should work fine.

Windows hosting is slightly different to setup 301's but I'm assuming you'll be using Linux if you are gonig to be using WP.

Neil,

Thanks for that tip. I'll give it a go once I get things moved over.

Thanks!

FYI Craig (the owner) said he would zip up anyone's site and email them the files if they decided to leave.

Oh boy! My sites are also down and the daily/monthly stats won't show up in the blazer either. One of mine is dishwasher-buy com.
So I checked on Craig's and some of his top student's sites (don't know which is which). They are all OK! Why? Blazer support does not reply.

Try them:

ferryholland co.uk
kdl-40w5500 co.uk
2101040nr com
top10christmas co.uk
squawkers co.uk

They are all working....
I really don't want to move my sites even though they don't get traffic. It's too complex for me!
The Google KW tool gave me 9000 searches for each of my babies' main KW (url) but the next month it went to zero. So all in vain. Craig's comment: The KW tool can behave strangely at times - with no further help or suggestions.
I just checked - go Google: gu2275xtvy and you don't get my baby any more. It was No1 (not kidding) for a few weeks but nobody is/was searching that term any more. So it was useless... Easy to be in No 1 for a useless KW. Same with my other babies.
Anyone on the WF that can help?
Has anyone had great success with IPK? I can't find anything on WF in this regard.
I have had so many setbacks with IM it's unbelievable...

Hi Leonmare,

I tried each of your sites and they are not coming up - must be on the NB CA server. (Network Blazer is having serious problems with their California server for about a week now.) Sites on that server used to have a "forbidden" message but now have either a "welcome, site is not yet uploaded" message or "yahoo 404" message. It seems to me they are at least working on it - although no one is getting any replies as to status within NB.

As for keywords, I use the Google KW tool as well. It is hinky, so it takes working with. I had 4 NB sites on page 1 of Google and making sales and other climbing to page 2 and 3 that were on the California server and then this mess happened. My sites are pretty much non-existent to Google now. Hopefully will be able to recoup them and get some status back.

There are a few people in WF who have had success using the IPK principles. As one person put it - you learn the basic principles, SEO, keyword research, etc. and then each person must put their own "spin" on it.

I believe that takes practice to see where your strengths/weaknesses are and then your own technique will come together through trial and error. But I still feel IPK is valuable in that sense. Personally, I had wanted to learn how to do mini-sites for some time and this program helped and answered every question I had. It is too bad about the NB thing.

I know that many people will use the IPK principles and use them on a Wordpress platform or other sitebuilder like XSitePro. You can find videos on how to use Wordpress on youtube.

If you want more help with keyword research, the Market Samurai program is supposed to be the best. Perhaps check out their website - it is an investment, but perhaps worth it.

I hope this helps - keep the faith and use this "down time" to learn how to overcome your obstacles.

Sincerely,
Cindy P.

Hi Cindy

Thanks for the long reply. How do you know what my other sites are if gu2275xtvy dot com is dead? Did you see the Mother? I'm baffled!
Did you check my whois? I think it is hidden. Oh you must have checked it out when it was still working! As I did with some of Craig's.

Anyway you say the Google KW tool is hinky, so it takes working with. What do you do? Is the Market Samurai's KW side not simply extracted from the Google KW tool with all their extras added? I have a basic unpaid M Samurai on my PC and it shows 325 searches for GU2475XTVY (my other baby). Obviously too low. Just checked G-KW tool: Zero! I saw this G-insights link now and followed it: Did you ever use that?
Do you do your SEO and add some/many backlinks? I would appreciate it if you could tell me what you do to rank besides doing proper SEO. Do you have babies going to a mother? Does your mother rank? Do you link from the mother back to the babies? - I asked IPK but they contradict themselves. I can prove it from their one pdfs. I noticed you live near the server! I stay in South Africa – simply had to choose a server. Perhaps we should distribute our sites among their servers…

Hi Leonmare,

I tried the sites that you listed in your post. I use the Google KW tool only (not market samurai) and look for around 10k searches per month with medium competition (if possible). You can choose keywords from the results and then search those, keep lists, etc. and see what "feels right." Then I take the keywords I like and put them into Google search and see the top sites that come up, how many search results there are, see what the top sites are selling, etc.

The sites that ranked highly (spots 1-3) were mainly SEO and then a few links. I index it right away with bookmarking sites, etc. then write an article for ezine, wait a week then add that article to about 10 other top sites.

The only "mother" site I used was my Christmas site, which was on page 1 and now non-existent due to the server issues. Others were "mini" sites of around 5 pages each. I will try to replicate the Christmas site on another platform and see if I can recover my ranking - not sure how that will go over.

I found out today that the CA server had a hardware malfunction. They are waiting for the "backup" to reload the sites. Hopefully it will be done sometime.

Hope this helps.

Tiffany Dow has posted a Video today titled:"A Sad Day for Me – Pulling My Promotion of IPK and NB"

I bought IPK a couple of weeks ago and suscribed to Network Blazer two days ago on the 4th, very bad move! Tiffany describes how she has been getting scads of requests for support these past weeks because the suscribers were not getting any support from Craig! I wish I had known!

Anyway, I've bought 5 domain names (one mother, 4 babies) and just will have to proceed with the videos supplied by IPK for building the sites ... I have never build a site from scratch so it's something I don't mind learning but I'm still wondering if it would make a big difference in results if I found a WP theme that would fit the concept of the IPK sites ...

I would appreciate getting some feedback about that WP theme question from one of you Warriors familiar with the IPK theme model and using that model with WP.

Thank you,

Fran_C

Fran,

I sent you a pm regarding the theme. Discussion on a list I was on seemed to indicate that wp wouldn't work as well as an html site. However, using a theme and an seo plugin could do the trick. You would just have to test it and see how it went. Seems it would be easy enough to tweak. I intend on trying it but have not had a chance to do it yet.

Hi Cindy

Thanks again for all your advice. My sites are back and the ranking is almost where it left off. If you have time please give it a critical look. Hope yours will recover very fast. Let me know.

So with only one mother you don't have many babies either but standalone sites? Thus I assume you don't really do the 007 method?

Do you use some article submitter & spinner to add those articles to the top 10 sites?

Thanks for your time

Hi Leonmare,

I'm not truly an expert at IPK or SEO, but first off, looking at your sites, I would say to be sure you have links from your index to sub-pages as well as sub-pages to index using your main keywords and sub-keywords both. If you put your sites on NB forum, there are some experienced people who will give you more in-depth analysis if you want. I also use this site sometimes to help me with my sites to see if there is something I am missing: SiteReportCard: Web Site Optimization and Promotion Tools

As for the "007 method," I only had time to do the "Christmas strategy" which involves linking only to the main Christmas site. I will try the other method of "baby" and "mother" sites later after I do some deeper keyword and market analysis.

And no, to submit for these sites so far, I did not spin (but I did change the title each time) and only hand-submitted to the top few sites.

I am going to try the Article Marketing Robot (ARM) offer in the WSO section, however. It has great reviews and a good price.

Take care,
Cindy P.

Hi,

I joined Network blazer the first time it was promoted in Jan/Feb this year in order to check it out.

If you are a newbie not able to create or edit your own html or websites or upload websites - well yes it may be suitable for you.

But for others I believe it is simply too restrictive with you locked into their templates & hosting.

Comparison service does work relatively simply but it does have the odd hiccup.

I left Network blazer after the first few weeks because for me it was simply to restrictive.

Thanks

Thanks again Cindy for all the usefull info. Yes, I did my SEO as per the course.
Hope your sites are ranking again. My KW gu2275xtvy is no 1 again for the review page (but nobody Googles the term anymore...) Also gu2475xtvy is page 2 top and page 1 pos 1 where it appears on the other site. It helps to cross ref. KW dishwasher buy stays stuck on Page 11 bottom...
I have not tried the NB forum bit.
