ClickBank does work but you need to work hard on it.

    To get started properly:

    1. Sign up for free and choose a memorable nickname id (this will be used for all your affiliate link)

    2. Get your products from the ClickBank MarketPlace and do a search that's related to your niche. (you can do fat loss)

    3. Sort out the product according to Highest Gravity (this will tell you how popular the product is) then decide the Payout to see if it's worth your Pay Per Click investments

    4. Get a Link Cloaker to mask your affiliate links

    5. You can start promoting your stuff with either a Review Site, Landing Pages, PPC and giving away bonuses.

All these do take some hard work! So be patient and persistent.

Well I did make few sales, so I guess it's still works well. But I notice selling product/services from CPA network is much better return.

I have been browsing the site of ClickBank. I have this task to promote an affiliate site and I am wondering how much it will cost me if I am going put my site as one of their products.

Anyone has any idea how much do I have to pay in using the service of clickbank?

If you mean how much does it cost to promote a product you found in the clickbank marketplace, it's free. Their commission comes out of the sale you make.

If you're wondering how much a website will cost you, you can start a blog for free at wordpress or blogger and promote the affiliate product on your blog.

i would think it all depends on the niche your websites target, any affiliate program can pay really well you just need the targeted traffic

Yes, the affiliate programs work. Clickbank is one of the big affiliate programs online with a good reputation. The other one that comes to mind is Commission Junction. I personally think that they have a bigger marketplace compared to Clickbank.

The other type of affiliate programs are CPA. Those are easier to make commissions from because your visitor doesn't have to buy anything. They just have to submit their email, fill out a survey, vote or put in their zip code.

I also think Commission Junction have a bigger marketplace compared to Clickbank but you can really make money from clickbank if u are ready to work. Your niche is something i will want u to consider before joining.

Yeah it is. It's about getting buyers to click on your affiliate link and buy from the vendor's page. If you can set up a website or any web presence of some sort (eg. social sites, blogs), you'll have the opportunity to persuade people to buy more effectively by adding some sort of value (eg. review, bonuses, tips etc.).

You can also use PPC, but it does cost money and if you do it wrong you will make a loss. It's probably worthwhile to try to free methods first, get some experience before getting into PPC.

    Affiliate programs work for sure.

But don't try everything at the same time.

Start with 1 website, 1 affiliate network, 1 traffic generation and 1 product your first month, and beware of information overload.

This morning, I was talking with one of my students, and he's already sick of information overload.

I gave him a quick and easy task, but he spend all his time surfing trying to find the secret... let me save you some time. There is no secret. It's just another business.

If you don't invest (time and money OR time only OR money only), no results. That's it.

I have multiple affiliate programs that I am marketing. I continue to earn multiple streams of income consistently month in and month out. Clickbank is just one affiliate program that I promote.

Clickbank is not an affiliate program, it's an affiliate network.

As for gravity, it indicates how many affiliates sold the product over the last two weeks. But it's not the exact number, it's relative.

In summary, bigger the gravity, the more the product is sold.

That doesn't necessary means that it's the best product for the end user. It's just that the owner (or the affiliates) have a good marketing strategy.

Also, that doesn't mean that it's the best product for you. You need to know your market first, not the product first. This is a big affiliate blunder!

      Franck.

        Franck,

I agree with you 100%. I usually choose products with gravity between 20 and 40. That way I make sure that the products are selling but they are not over marketed. There are no rules here but you need a cut off. What is your experience?

Of course clickbank works, and i think it is one of the best affiliate network to start with for beginners.

Clickbank is the largest affiliate network for digital product while CJ is more on physical items. The only thing i don't like about CJ is you have to obtain approval from the merchant before you can start promoting their goods.

Have anybody tried printmyatm's affiliate program, I was checking out their affiliate page the other day and I like the comp plan. I'm thinking about joining and I was curious as to whether anybody else has made any money with them.
