Hi Warriors, Am new to this sort of stuff and trying to learn, and been looking at purchasing Market Samurai. I have downloaded the tool, and been trying the free trial, and it doesnt seem to be giving accurate data. The data it returns doesnt seem to be the same as google keyword tool on the exact same searches, or CPC values, or other stuff. Also i had a go at the Page Rank tool. I tried it on a website that i have in the google index, one that i can actually find myself searching for the keyword phrase, in google, and know that its on page 94. But when i put the same details into Market Samurai, for the same keywords and domain, i then hit the "Update Rank Data" after setting it to top depth of 1000, and it returns with nothing. Is this a bug ? Or does this tool not give accurate results ? |

I used Market Samurai for 2 months now and I really admire its keyword research module. Sometimes I find the number is mislead, too, but that's not a big problem because in keyword researching, everything is pretty much estimation. People buy Market Samurai not just because of the rank tracking tool but because of other modules as well. It's competition module is pretty good. You can also find content or places to leave backlinks as well. In addition, did you update your Market Samurai version? |

The tool is definitely accurate. Maybe your datacenter is an anomoly? There are some tools to check datacenters. Also, try US Google.com: http://www.google.com/webhp?btnG=Sea...es&gl=US&hl=en |

As with everything else, it is a tool... Does the tool work as designed or promised? That is the real question... And the answer is always, the tool will do the job, if you do your job... It is like that hammer on your work bench... Yes it does what it was designed to do, but are you going to pick it up and use it in a way that is consistent with its design? |

I only use it to analyse after I have found a few keywords using Micro Niche Finder. Personally, I would say it takes experience and dedication to rank, it is not as easy as finding a niche and wacking up a website and hoping to draw in massess of traffic. Regards Owen

I have used MS now for 2 years and it is still my keyword tool of choice. It gives you the ability to see various pieces of the keyword puzzle in one tool. It give you the ability to asses the PPC possibilities, SEO competition and commercial intent on one screen. I do suggest, however, that you work through their extensive training. It is free and probably some of the best in the market |

MSam is (was) still using data from the legacy Google keyword tool, whereas the publicly accessible Google tool is a newer version which gives different numbers. This has been discussed before. Ranking: MSam uses a proxy to get the Google SERPs and it's very likely to get different results from your own browser: unless you take multiple precautions, Google will give you personalized results which give preferential treatment to sites you've visited before, eg your own sites. |

Don`t think twice and get it, use it and use other tools too, don`t rely just on one source. Overall, it`s a damm good tool for SEO if you learn how to use it.

If you know how to use it, yes, it actually works; one of the good tool for SEO. Why not try another tool like scrapebox?
